Chapter 41 - Thors Vision

Tony and Bruce arrived with Clint and the cradle shortly after you had reached the labs.

"Y/N! How are you?" Tony asked when he saw you and rushed to give you a hug.

"I'm okay. I'm glad we have JARVIS back" you smiled to convince him you were fully okay

"Thank you Miss Y/N" JARVIS said

"This cradle...this body...it's alive" You said with wide eyes and you probed the new mind amongst you

"What do you mean, Princess?" Tony asked, very interested in what you had to say.

"I think your Ultron idea will work. The proper way it was meant to. You need to put JARVIS into this body" You said

"Why do you say that?" Bruce asked now also interested

"Well, JARVIS beat Ultron already protecting the nuclear codes, right?" You clarified

"How did you know?" Tony asked

"JARVIS is my friend. It hurt when we thought Ultron destroyed him. And because he is my friend he told me about what he has been up to. But anyway, if you put JARVIS into the body, it'll work" you said with determination

"I think it's worth a shot" JARVIS agreed

"No, I'm in a loop! I'm caught in a time loop, this is exactly where it all went wrong" Bruce exclaimed looking utterly terrified. 

"It's alright if you don't want to help, Bruce. I can just read your mind and figure it out" You said with a grin and you felt your eyes glow as your magic swirled around you.

"Alright alright. Fine, I'll do it but that's no fair" He said as he pointed at you but broke out into a smile and so you let the mad scientists get to work.

Shortly after you convinced Bruce to help he said "The genetic coding tower's at ninety-seven percent. You have got to upload that schematic in the next three minutes" to Tony

"Guys, Steve and the twins are here!" You warned them and put a shield around the cradle knowing they were going to try and stop it

"I'm gonna say this once, shut it down" Steve said as he walked into the room with the twins

You slipped into the shield and sat cross legged on top of the cradle while it was doing its thing, knowing full well no one here would get through your shield and you let the others all argue about how this was the right or wrong thing to do blah blah blah. You tuned it all out as they started fighting and trying to get in your shields.

You did notice Wanda looking at you curiously and you read her mind and saw she was trying to to read yours, but you were trained in keeping your walls up around your mind and you had an extra shield around you. She was impressed and you smiled to each other. Yes, she was definitely interesting. You liked her.

You let your eyes glow blue and she made hers glow red. You reached out a branch of your magic to her, the blue glow making its way to her and she made her red magic dance with yours. It was quite pretty to watch and it had stopped all the arguing and fighting.

You felt Thors mind coming closer and you saw in his mind what he was going to do. He landed next to the cradle, crashing through the ceiling like the drama queen he was

"It's about time. I heard your thoughts a mile off" You grinned to him and jumped off the cradle and released the shield around it and you, ignoring everyone else in the room

"Thank you, sister" He smiled and you smiled back at him calling you his sister and he hit the cradle with Mjolnir sending a surge of lighting through it and bringing the body to life leaving the rest of the room stunned. You leant over the cradle to see the body's eyes open and even though you knew it was going to happen, it made you jolt slightly and you looked on in awe.

It burst out of the cradle and knocked you back then proceeded to launch himself at you and you both hurtled towards a window in the next room but you used your magic to stop you both going through it.

You hovered next to the new entity and he hovered next to you and you circled each other in the air. Not in a threatening way but in more of a greeting and you let your magic flow around the two of you.

Then you smiled to him and he smiled back. It was cute.

"I'm sorry. That was...strange" the man said to me in JARVIS' voice which made your smile grow

You saw into his mind and saw he was sorry for attacking you. You also saw that he was close to what Tony and Bruce had originally wanted Ultron to be, but he was better. The mad scientists had done it...with a bit of help

"You helped create this, Y/N?" Steve asked you

"Who me? No, I just protected him until you all stopped squabbling and Thor arrived. He helped make this fine gentleman" You answered him and the red man nodded his thanks to you.

"I've had a vision. A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its centre is that gem" Thor said, indicating the gem in the red man's head. "It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities."

"Hmm that sounds like a good name for you" You said to the red man

"What would that be?" He asked politely

"Vision. You came from Tony and Bruces 'vision' of protecting the world, Ultrons 'vision' for the world and Thor had a 'vision' of your gem," you smiled to him

"Vision. Yes, that is a very good name with good reasons" Vision agreed

"Hang on, hang on. If this gem had such destructive capabilities, why did you bring it to life?" Steve asked Thor and kind of you seeing as though you let him past the shields

"Because Stark is right" Thor said simply which made you laugh that he actually said it out loud

"Yep. It's definitely the end times" Bruce exclaimed, definitely exasperated

"The fact is, we can't beat Ultron on our own, but with our new friend, we may have a chance" You explained why you let Thor bring Vision to life

"And why does he sound like JARVIS?" Steve asked

"We configured JARVIS' matrix to create something new" Tony explained

"Please, I can't deal with any more 'new' today" Steve sighed

"You think I am a child of Ultron?" Vision asked

"You're not?" Clint asked

"I'm not Ultron. I'm not JARVIS. I am... I am" Vision said simply. He saw Thors cape and gave himself one which you chuckled at

"I looked in your head and saw annihilation" Wanda said cautiously

"That was before JARVIS was added" You explained to her and she seemed to understand a bit. "Take another look if you're worried"

"Her seal of approval means jack all to me" Clint scoffed

"Then what about mine?" You asked and Clint looked down feeling a little bad. "Can we wrap all of this up anyway? How about I just spell it all out for you? Vision is a good guy because he wants people to live, unlike Ultron, so while he isn't necessarily 'on our side' he wants to stop Ultron because he knows it's the only way to prevent him from killing off most of the planet. ¿Comprende?"

Everyone just looked at you baffled except for Vision. He was nodding and smiling as you were speaking

"Yes. So, Ultron is waiting for you in Sokovia and and if you trust Y/N's judgement, we really must be going" Vision said as he passed Mjolnir to Thor and that was it. You fell to the floor laughing knowing full well that at some point everyone in the room who wasn't new, you or Nat had tried to pick up Mjolnir before and failed.

Thor looked at you wide eyed and turned to Tony and said "Right. Well done Stark. Let's be going" blatantly ignoring the fact that his precious hammer was picked up by another

Steve gave you all five minutes to get ready and meet on the roof in the Quinjet
