Chapter 49 - Escape

"You know Loki is living it up and partying up there?" You scoffed

"Yes, I have seen him. Apparently he arrived here three weeks ago," Thor informed you

"Wow, inter realm time is so messed up!" You exclaimed. "It still doesn't excuse him from not seeming to care about whether I was alright or not. Or the fact that his home is literally burning"

"No, no it doesn't. But what do you expect from the one who let you think he was dead for two months?" Thor had a point

"Anyway, shall we get out of here? We should really find Bruce too." You whispered to Thor

"Yes, although I don't know if we will be able to get Banner back. I tried to talk him into coming back in the arena but Hulk has a tight hold on him at the moment" Thor said as he stood up and dusted himself off

You held out your hand for him to hold and then you teleported the two of you to outside Hulks room in the same building.

"Right, you go and try and get Hulk to come with us and I'm going to get Loki" You told Thor before teleporting to Loki, who you knew was in his room on the 25th floor thanks to the minds of the aliens in the tower.

"Y/N! There you are!" Loki gasped when you appeared in front of him i his room

"Oh, so now you care about my whereabouts?" You asked him sternly

"I have worried about you since i've been here but i've been here for 3 weeks already. I had to get in good with The Grandmaster to be able to survive here" He pleaded to you

"Oh and by 'get in good with The Grandmaster' you mean sleeping with him?!" You accused of him as you had seen The Grandmasters thoughts about Loki and at this point you didn't know what he would do to get his way

"What? No! Don't be absurd!" Loki looked shocked by your accusation

"Well he has definitely thought about you two doing the dirty" You grimaced

"No, I have not lay with anyone since the time with you on Midgard" He told you and despite being the God of Lies, you could tell when he was lying and he wasn't lying to you now. That bought him a small amount of good grace in your books, but only a small amount

"While we have a bit of time, i seriously need to ask you something" You said to Loki as you walked over to his bed and sat on it

"What is it?" He asked, eager to know what you wanted to ask

"Did you ever think about how much it would hurt me to think you were dead?" You asked, tears forming in your eyes, remembering the night Thor came back home to Midgard and told you about Lokis death

"I did but I really didn't think you would have been as hurt as you seem to have been. I didn't think anyone could love me, let alone how much you loved me" He said solemnly

"Well, I guess part of that's my fault for not telling you how much you meant to me and how much i love you" You told him, a tear managing to leak from your eye.

"You still love me?" Loki asked, not quite sure

"Of course i do! I was just so mad and upset about you not telling me you were alive, but with all the chaos that's going on around us now, i don't want to spend the time i have with you arguing or being angry" You told him, cupping his face in your hands

"I will do everything in my power to make it up to you, I swear" Loki promised, the determination in his eyes telling you that he really meant what he was saying.

You pulled him in and gave him a kiss on the lips and it was long and passionate. It made it even better the fact that you had thought you'd never be able to feel his lips on yours again.

"Well, I need to go and help Thor with getting Bruce back to being Bruce and figure out how to get out of here. I'll come find you when we have a plan" You told him, standing up from the bed once you had finished kissing

"Why don't we just stay here?" Loki suggested

"And leave our people to the wrath of Hela? No, we have to help them and I really don't see myself living on a trash ridden planet" You added the last part with a scrunched up nose

"Okay, call out in my mind when you're ready and I will come find you then. I can move in this tower more freely than you" Loki agreed and with that you went back to Hulks room to find out where Thor had gotten with getting Bruce back

You were shocked when you entered Hulks room to see no one there and the window smashed in.

You ran over to the broken window and looked out of it to see if you could see Thor or Hulk anywhere and you spotted them down in the streets running somewhere with Thor quite a few paces ahead of Hulk like he didn't know he was there. You looked to where they were headed and you saw the Quinjet!

You teleported yourself down to the Quinjet just as Thor reached it.

"Nice of you to wait for me!" You told him off and the look on his face was hilarious. "It's okay, i would have found you eventually even if i hadn't seen Hulk following you"

"Hulks following?" Thor asked as you tried to see if the Quinjet would start up and to your amazement it did!

"Voice verification required" The automated voice said

"The Sorceress" You spoke clearly

"Welcome, The Sorceress" The jet replied to you just as Hulk came crashing through the back of the jet

"Friend stay!" Hulk cried out to Thor

"Hulk no! Don't wreck the jet!" Thor yelled to hulk but it was too late. He was already smashing it up

Just then a video of Nat came on on the console

"Nice work, big guy. We don't know where Ultrons headed, but you're going very high, very fast" Nat started to say on the video and it had completely caught Hulks attention. He was watching it intently. "So I need you to turn this bird around, okay? We can't track you in stealth mode"

Then Hulk toppled to the side a bit as the transformation back to Bruce started. It was sad to watch him struggle with it but it was the only way to get Bruce back. He dropped to the ground and completely transformed back to Bruce
