Chapter 54 - Korg to the rescue

Loki, the people are in danger. I need to help them. Can you hold Hela off long enough to get them to safety?

You used your magic to fly through the air and strike Hela as you passed before you were out of the palace and flying to the rainbow bridge.

The people were all on the bridge stuck between the huge black wolf, Fenrir and Hela's army of the undead, the Draug

The people at the front of the group of Asgardians had their weapons drawn, ready to fight off the Draug and Skurge, you now saw at the head of them. Traitor! The Commodore at the back of the group with Val shooting at Fenrir, but it didn't seem to be doing much of anything to him.

You landed next to Heimdall who was between the Asgardians and Skurge

"Glad to see you're still alive, Heimdall" you smiled to him and shook forearms

"And you, Lady Y/N," Heimdall smiled back.

You then turned to Skurge with a fiery rage in your eyes as they began to glow blue. "This is your one chance to surrender, Skurge. Do it now and all will be forgiven!" You yelled to him as you lifted yourself off the bridge to float in front of Heimdall

You saw in his eyes that he wanted to but he was too scared of Hela to do so.

"Very well, i will not hold back," You warned him as you formed a shield in the middle of the huge pack of Draug and expanded it, blowing a big group of them off the edge of the bridge, avoiding Skurge. You had lied when you said you wouldn't hold back. He was one of your people and you would try to spare him if you could. The army of Draug and Skurge then charged for the people and Heimdall joined you in the attack.

You landed in front of the army and drew your sword and started your attack side by side with Heimdall. You needed to conserve your magic. The Draug were harder to kill without magic but you were slaying them nonetheless. But they kept coming and coming. It was like there was an endless supply of them.

Some of the citizens had now come to join the fight but you tried to shield them the best you could from the Draug's attacks.

From the other side of the bridge you heard Hulk roar. Oh, Bruce, you thought to yourself. You so hoped he and Val were okay

"What do we do now?!" Heimdall yelled over the commotion as you were both taking down Draug after Draug.

"Don't worry, help should be here soon!" you yelled back, skewering three Draug at once and throwing them at a small group of them, knocking them all off the edge

Just then , the sound of huge engines came from somewhere off the side of the bridge and everyone seemed to stop for a moment. A huge spaceship appeared and was getting closer to the bridge and Korg and Meik were standing on the open bay doors

"Hey man. I'm Korg. This is Miek," He said to the confused Asgardians he had landed by on the bridge

"Everyone! Get on the ship!" You shouted to the citizens and they all started to pile in, helping each other get up the ramp

You turned your attention back to the fight as you threw your shield into the Draug and pushed them back a few paces, knocking another large group off the edge, giving the people time to get on the ship.

Suddenly Loki appeared next to you

"Loki! Where's Thor?!" you shouted at him, not believing he had left his brother, but when you saw how banged up he was, you didn't blame him

"Up there..." Loki pointed to a balcony of the palace and you could just make out Thor and Hela up there, Thor's face being squished against the edge

You sent your magic out to him and you hoped that he would hear you

Thor, you can do this

She's too strong. Without Mjolnir I don't stand a chance

Are you really this thick? You're not the God of Hammers or the God of Love Taps. You're the God of bloody THUNDER! Even I know your power didn't come from Mjolnir. Your power comes from YOU! It's inside you. Mjolnir was just a tool to focus your power!

Your attention was pulled back to the fight when one of the Draug managed to pierce your left shoulder with a spear, making you cry out in pain and stagger back a few paces

You looked down at the spear poking out of you. It had gone all the way through. Now you were pissed.

You formed a shield around you and flew through the middle of the army and there were barely any of them left by the time you returned back to Loki's side

He was looking at you wide eyed. "You're scary when you're angry," He admitted

"They got blood on my armour" You shrugged

"You know your eyes are blue too?" He asked awkwardly

"It's cool, right?" You grinned as your blasted five more Draug there were running at you

Just then there was a huge electrical blast from the balcony of the palace where Thor and Hela had been. You looked over to it and saw Hela falling down from the balcony and a ball of electricity with Thor in the middle of it was coming straight for the bridge

Thor landed on the bridge at the back of the pack of Draug. He turned to them and started flying through the middle of them, knocking them all off and landing next to you, Loki and Heimdall

"I told you you weren't the God of Love Taps," You grinned to Thor

"You were right, Little Sister" Thor grinned back

"You know you're missing an eye, right?" Loki asked Thor as you noticed he indeed was missing an eye

"Are you just here to point out the obvious?" You asked Loki

"What did I miss?" Val asked from behind you. As you turned to look at her you saw that all of the citizens were now on Korgs ship. Thank the Gods they were safe

"Thors missing an eye" You offered

"and yours are blue" Val pointed out

"Yes, i'm aware of that" You chuckled

"I've been thinking, we should disband the Revengers" Thor commented

"Good plan. Can't you hit Hela with a lightning blast?" Loki asked Thor

"I just hit her with the biggest lightning blast in the history of lightning blasts" Thor exasperated

"We need to hold her off until Korg can get the people away from here," Val said as she looked down the bridge. You all turned to see Hela strutting down the bridge, more of her undead following her

"This bitch is getting on my nerves" You muttered

"It won't end there. The longer Hela's on Asgard the more powerful she grows. She'll hunt us down. We need to stop her here and now," Thor said as he glared down the bridge with his one eye

"Asgard isn't a place, it's a people," You muttered the words Odin had said to you, Loki and Thor before his death

"What was that?" Loki asked, not hearing you properly and the others turned to you

"What Odin said before he died. Asgard isn't a place! It's a people! Asgard is wherever our people are" You said louder so the group could hear you.
