Chapter 46 - Hello Hela

"She's coming. My life was all that held her back, but my time has come. I cannot keep her away any longer" Odin sighed and the confusion just continued to grow inside you

You looked to Thor and Loki who looked like they had no clue either.

"Who's coming, Allfather?" You asked him and crouched down in front of him

He smiled sadly to you. You had no idea he even knew how to smile, even if it was a sad smile.

"Hela, Goddess of Death. My first born" Odin explained simply like it wasn't any big news to be hearing and the three of you just looked shocked

"How can this be?" Thor asked, sounding hurt that he was only now hearing he had a blooded sister. You would always be his little sister though.

"Her violent appetites grew beyond my control. I could not stop her, so I imprisoned her. Locked her away. She draws her strength from Asgard...and once she gets there, her powers will be limitless" Odin continued to explain to you all

"Well, we will stop her together" Thor said determinedly

"No, son, we won't. My time has come. I love you both" He said to Thor and Loki. Thors eyes were full of tears. "Remember this place, my children" you assumed he was now including you in his child pool, "this is home." And then as easy as blowing dust into the wind, Odins body split off into a million little glowing flecks which were taken away with the ocean breeze and he was gone. You had to admit, it was a peaceful way to die.

For a moment there was peace and quiet amongst the three of you as you individually mourned the Allfathers death

But then the sky above started to turn dark and the wind picked up its pace and you all stood.

Thor turned to Loki, a fiery rage now within Thors eyes as he pointed Mjolnir at Loki.

"This is your doing!" Thor shouted at Loki

"Hey! Yeah we are both mad at this dick but he didn't kill the Allfather" You rolled your eyes

"Thank you" Loki said quietly to you

"Oh don't think this means im still not worlds of pissed off at you still" You chastised

There came a sound of something like rocks breaking apart from behind you all in the middle of the field and a black portal cracked open from where the sound came from.

The three of you all changed into your armour and suits, ready for whoever was about to come from the black swirling portal. You took your sword into your hand and extended it as you stood between Thor and Loki in a defensive stance.

A woman, you assumed was this Hela chick, stepped out of the portal. She was in a torn black bodysuit and her hair was jet black like Lokis was. She looked more like his sister than Thors.

"You need to go to Asgard and warn them" Thor turned to you and said

"I'm not leaving you with this homicidal maniac!" You argued, not wanting to leave either of them

"You must! You need to warn our people" Thor said with determination and you knew he was right. "We will hold her off"

"Fine!" And you teleported far away from them and looked up to the sky and called "Skurge, Heimdall! Whoever's there, bring me back!" And the bifrost lit up and you were taken back to Asgard

You were met by Heimdall, which you were so happy about. You were glad he was alive. He wasn't in his armour though, he was wearing civilian Asgardian clothes.

"Heimdall!" You greeted him and ran to him and hugged him. You had no idea if he was a hugger but you were just so happy to see him. "I'm so happy you're okay!"

"Thank you, Lady Y/N" He smiled to you, his golden eyes shining as bright as ever.

"You need to go and warn the people! Hela the Goddess of Death has been unleashed and she's going to reign chaos and destruction. The Allfather is dead, may he rest in Valhalla" you respectfully added the last part

"Yes, come. We must warn them!" Heimdall agreed

"No, i'm going to wait here for Thor and Loki" you insisted

Heimdall nodded. "When the sword glows, turn it. It'll open the bifrost for them" he nodded to the bifrost sword on the dais

"Okay. Go! Get them away from the city!" You said as he ran out of the bifrost chamber.

A few short minutes later the sword started glowing so you turned it like Heimdall had said. And waited

And waited

Something was wrong. What if Hela comes through? You knew you were powerful but this bitch had how many more hundreds of years on Thor. You were no match for her.

You then noticed your dragon head was still chilling where you had left it earlier so you ducked behind it and hid.

Volstagg and Fandral then ran into the bifrost chamber coming to see what was going on and before you got the chance to tell them to run, Hela burst through the bifrost.

"Who are you?! What have you done with Thor?!" Fandral demanded of Hela and the two of them both drew their weapons

Oh gods this wasn't going to end well

Hela conjured two jet black swords and in the same instant launched them at Volstagg and Fandral. Your hands flew to your mouth to stop the scream that so badly wanted to come out when you saw them pierce their chests. They both fell back, lifeless.

"Im Hela, Queen of Asgard" she said to the dying bodies and left the bifrost chamber

You rushed over to them both as quickly as you could. Volstagg was already dead but there was a little life in Fandral

"Hold on, I'll heal you" you told him through streams of tears and went to take the sword out of his chest

"No!" He coughed. "It'll kill you! You must find Thor". He was right, it probably would kill you to bring him back from the brink of death

"But...I'm so sorry this happened" You cried as you cradled him in your lap

"It wasn't your fault" he whispered with his final breath, a smile on his face. You let out a huge sob as you held him close to you.

"Get yourself together" you mumbled to yourself and lay Fandral on the floor next to Volstagg and closed Volstaggs eyes carefully before turning to the bifrost sword.

You had no idea how this worked but you had to find Thor and Loki so you just thought about them, turned the sword and let yourself get sucked into the bifrost and hoped it took you to the right place
