Chapter 48 - Tagged

You woke up in some sort of darkened corridor on the stone floor and felt like crap. That shock really did a number on you.

You rubbed your neck as you stood up and looked around to figure out where you had been taken. You noticed that metallic thing was still on your neck. Apparently you were staying as a prisoner

In a big long slit about eye height there was a break in the wall and when you looked through it you saw an arena. You took a quick look left and right and saw other aliens watching the arena and cheering.

So...what? Is this a prisoner's viewing box? You asked yourself.

You looked back out to the arena to see who the aliens were cheering at.

In the middle of the big open arena was Thor! Although someone had given him a haircut and he had lost his armour. He had on some junk armour from what you could tell. He also didn't have Mjolnir. He was holding some sort of sword and shield.

Across the arena you looked for his opponent and you were beyond shocked to see that it was the Hulk! Of all people it could be in the cosmos, it was the Hulk. You had no idea what he was doing here, in space, on Sakaar.

"Thor! Hey, Thor!" You shouted but the stadium was far too loud for Thor to be able to hear one voice in the crowd so you just watched.

Hulk charged at Thor who managed to dodge out of the way, not wanting to fight Hulk. It looked like he was trying to talk to him instead. But Hulk punched Thor who threw up the shield he was holding but it did nothing but shatter and Thor flew into the wall behind him

"Owch" You grimaced to yourself

Thor ran towards Hulk, sword in the air and slashed at him but Hulk grabbed the sword and flung it aside and they engage in hand to hand combat.

Thor jumped up and punched Hulk in the face which did nothing but piss him off

"Yep, God of Love Taps" you muttered to yourself chuckling

Hulk grabbed Thor by the leg and thrashed him around like a rag doll until Hulk just threw him face first into the dirt. You were glad you weren't fighting Hulk, but you'd ave had him on his ass in no time.

Hulk started pummeling his fists into Thor as he lay on the floor until Thors eyes start glowing white and electricity started sparking all around him. It looked like he was charging it up. Then in a huge explosion of electricity, Hulk was blown back into the wall and Thor jumped to his feet and flew to Hulk and he punched him with an electrified fist, knocking Hulk to the floor

Then the electricity suddenly died off and Thors body was convulsing on the floor. You realised that he had been shocked the same as you. Which you thought was funny seeing as though he is the God of Thunder.

Hulk launches himself into the air and you heard a rock alien next to you say "Another day, another Doug" and shakes his head.

You went over to the rock creature and introduced yourself. "Hi, I'm Y/N. Do you know Thor?"

"Oh hi! I'm Korg" he said quite cheerily considering he was a prisoner. "Yeh, I know Thor. He's a good guy. He arrived earlier today"

"Oh did he? He's like my brother" You told Korg. You liked Korg with his cheeriness

"Oh he will be happy to see you then!" Korg smiled

"Where will he be taken now that he's knocked out?" You asked

"Back to the holding ring. I'll show you. We have to go back there now anyway" Korg said and showed you where you would be taken to even if you hadn't have asked

Thor was dragged in by two guards not long after you had reached the ring shaped cell

You ran over to him and healed him and he soon woke up

"Thor! Hey hey, it's me!" You assured him when he started trying to fight you off him

He soon settled when he saw it was you. "Little sister! What are you doing here?!" He gasped as he pulled you in for a hug

"Rescuing you. What happened on Midgard? Where's Mjolnir?" You asked and his face grew dark

"Hela was too much. She broke Mjolnir like it was a plastic toy" he said mournfully

"What is a molo-neer?" Korg asked from were he was sat with his back against the wall.

"It's his magic hammer" You said simply then turned back to Thor. "Well, I'm glad you're alive. I was so worried when you didn't come through the bifrost and Hela did"

"What happened on Asgard?" He asked and this time it was your turn for your face to grow dark

"I got there and Heimdall was there. I told him to go get the citizens out of the city then I opened the bifrost for you when the sword glowed and when you took so long I got worried and hid. That's when.." You trailed off as you remembered Fandral dying in your arms, tears starting to stream down your face

"When what, little sister?" Thor urged you to go on.

"Fandral and Volstagg came into the chamber" You choked out. "Then Hela came through the bifrost and impaled them and just walked off. I ran over to them but Volstagg was dead and I went to heal Fandral..bu-but he said it'd kill me. He told me to find you and that it wasn't my fault" You dried and Thor took you into his arms, crying too. "I held him while he died, Thor...they're both gone!"

"Today has been a trying day. First father and now Volstagg and Fandral...I bid they take their place in Valhalla" Thor started to say

"Where the brave shall live forever. Nor shall we mourn but rejoice for those that have died a glorious death" You both finished off the prayer.
