You've not long started your new job at Stark Industries as an assistant. A pretty normal job for a pretty normal 21 year old girl until one day your life is turned upside down when you save Peppers life with the help of the mysterious blue shimmer...
You ran down the hall and into the kitchen instead of teleporting down there and were surprised to see Nat and Bruce already awake, both with Santa hats on, as well as Loki appearing next to you while you were making toast for breakfast, giving you a kiss on the cheek.
The rest of the team were soon on their way to the lounge too, buzzing with excitement like you were.
Once everyone had coffee and food in their systems you all gathered around the Christmas tree to exchange gifts
You had gotten everyone their own superheroes build-a-bear which they all thought was adorable. You got Loki an extra present though. You saw a couple's bracelet pair on the internet that has half a heart pendant on each that have magnets in them so when you hold hands, they connect together and Loki loved it.
Tony got everyone, even Loki, the latest model of the Stark Techs mobile phones and he got you a little trophy that said "Worlds Greatest Daughter" which you teared up at.
Nat got you a belt with a clip on it for the sword Sif had given you and beautiful leather embroidered sheaths for daggers as you had told her about Loki teaching you how to use them on Asgard.
Steve and Bruce both got you a series of books you had asked for when they asked if there was anything specific you wanted
Bucky got you a badass black leather jacket
Clint got you your own bow which was way cool. It was a midnight blue.
Thor bought you the dress from Asgard which you had worn on the first night which got big smiles from both Loki and yourself
Loki gave you a pair of daggers that were absolutely stunning. The hilts were in a diamond pattern where the diamond shapes were blue and the lines between them were gold. The blade was slightly curved and had a sort of feather shape on them

Once everyone had opened their presents and you all thanked each other for them, Steve and Bucky got started on the meat for the dinner and about an hour later the veg was put on just as Tony and Pepper started making the starters and Clint and Thor sorted the trimmings. It was a good job you had a big kitchen in the tower.
By 2.30pm the starters were ready to be eaten so you all sat down at the dining table and tucked into prawn cocktails, charred pork belly slices and a big camembert bread bowl.
It was a good job there was time between the starters and mains because you ate more than your fair share of the starters.
When it came to the main dinner everything looked so lovely and you all over indulged in food and agreed to leave dessert for the evening. Dessert for tea isn't a bad thing on Christmas day.
So when tea time came along you bought the desserts and bowls into the lounge along with glasses and wine and whatever alcohol anyone wanted, put on Christmas movies and enjoyed a lovely family Christmas evening and it was definitely going to be one you would never forget. Your first real Christmas.

The following week was spent as you normally would have spent your days at the tower. Training, chilling, eating and then Tony threw a huge New Years party at the tower which went down as anyone would expect. All of the Avengers passed out in the lounge at 2am after a spectacular firework display on the roof. Loki even got a little tipsy although he would never admit to it.
A few days after the New Years party Loki invited you up to the roof in the evening.
"What are we doing?" You asked him as you were riding up the tower in the elevator
"You'll see when we get up there" He smiled and turned to exit the elevator
Out on the roof there was a picnic blanket with extra blankets and pillows spread out with a picnic basket in the middle of it
"Oh Loki! This is so romantic" You squealed and hurried over to the picnic area with him.
"I hoped you would like it" he smiled as he sat down with you and put a blanket around your shoulders so make sure you didn't get cold
Then he took out two wine glasses and a bottle of red wine along with cheese, crackers, bread sticks and other picnic-y items. He poured you both a glass of wine and you toasted to you as a couple
"To us" you said and took a sip of the wine
"There's actually something I wanted to talk to you about" Loki confessed looking a little worried
"What is it?" You asked, concerned. You didn't like the look he was giving off.
"It's about my heritage...I'm not Asgardian" He said and you were so relieved that was all he wanted to tell you. You thought it was something serious like there was something wrong with the relationship you weren't aware of.
"I know you're not" You admitted
"You do?" He asked now obviously confused
"Yeh, you're a Frost Giant" You told him and he still looked worried
"And you're okay with that?" He asked, still confused
"Well yeh. Why wouldn't I be?" You asked, now confused yourself
"Because Frost Giants are disgusting monsters. Those that parents tell their children about to scare them" he looked appalled at himself for being who he is
"You're not a disgusting monster, You're Loki, Prince of Asgard, God of Mischief and the man I love" You told him and the look in his eyes brought tears to your eyes. He was shocked to be told he was loved and it hurt you so bad that he was shocked to hear it
"But you don't even know what I look like beneath my Asgardian visage" He whispered in disbelief
"Well, show me then. I will love you whatever you look like" You told him as you cupped his face in your left hand
His skin started to change to a blue colour and there were small lumps on his arms and face and when he looked at you, his eyes were like two rubies set in his face
"Loki, you're beautiful" you said in a whisper as you traced the small bumps on his skin down his arm. He really was beautiful
"Really? Even like this?" He asked, still in disbelief
"Yes, even in your Jötunn form you're beautiful" you assured him and he changed back to his Asgardian form and you saw he was crying. "Oh Loki" you whispered and pulled him into a hug. You pulled his face up to yours and kissed him. It turned into a passionate fiery kiss and hands started to wonder. You teleported the two of you back to your room and onto your bed before anything more happened out on the roof.
"Are you sure you want this?" He whispered between kisses
"Yes, I do," You whispered back.
"I love you too" he whispered and you made love for the first time to each other into the night
