"Open" Jamey asked as he held a spoonful of rabbit soup. Alex eyed him a bit warily, but opened his mouth regardless for the food, instantly slurping it down. "This is delicious!!" He preened and Jamey smirked, feeling a sense of pride. "Thanks, I made it myself" He scooped up another spoonful and continued to feed him. Everything still hurt for Alex, he could barely feel anything in his fingers. "When do you think I'll be healed up?" Alex asked in between bites. Jamey hummed in thought, "I'm not sure, but from the damage you sustained, a couple of months. 1 month if you're a fast healer" Alex nodded as he savored the soup in his mouth. "Where's Max anyways?" He asked, to which Jamey replied, "We were running out of groceries, so my dad and little brother went to the city- ah but don't worry. Nothing's gonna happen to them"
He noticed the way Alex's pupils shrank at the mention on the city, but calming down a bit when Jamey said his dad was there. "You're really lucky to have a Dad who actually loves you" he looked down. "Man, I miss my mom and my little brother" Jamey raised an eyebrow as he put the bowl to the side. "You have parents?" Alex looked at him and nodded. "Yeah... but... it's a long story to how we ended up with bad people" Jamey scooted his chair closer. "I've got time"
~ Meanwhile ~
Faz happily munched down on his new treats he got for being on his best behavior. "I love this! What is it again?" He asked Angelo, looking up at him with big baby blue eyes. Angelo smiled, "Candy! There are different types of candy" Faz preened. "I love Candy! It's so tasty and good!" They were currently seating themselves at a cafe next to a grocery store. "This damn coffee house has too weak coffee" Lucifer commented as he poured himself another cup. Angelo giggled, "Oh dear, you say that about every coffee place we go to. You put too much sugar in yours" Lucifer huffed, but continued to drink his cup anyways. Faz drank some of his hot chocolate happily and took a bite out of his small cookie. Angelo watched happily, feeling tears begin to swell up in his eyes, he remembered when Max and Alex tried candy for the first time. He sighed and just decided to enjoy the day, before being interrupted out his thoughts by a small body hitting against him. "S-sorry sir!" came the familiar voice, immediately Angelo turned around and he saw him. The mop of unruly red hair and bandages littered all over his face and arms.
"C'mon Max. We gotta get vegetables! I don't like them, but daddy says they're good for you!" Another small child said and pulled Max away from Angelo. He shot up and called out, "Max!!" Before running over and giving him a big hug. Max startled at the sudden display of affection before looking at his face more clearly. "Mom?!" He said and Angelo bursts into tears, "Oh my baby! My sweet baby!" Angelo shouted and started giving him kisses all over his face. Chris stared at Angelo as he continued to assault Max in kisses. "Um..." he cleared his throat, getting the attention of Angelo. "Who are you? And what are you doing with Max?" He held Jerry behind him protectively. Max jumped up, "This is my mom!!" He stopped and turned to him, "But... if you're here... then..." Lucifer came into view, holding Faz in his arms. "Me" he said in a gruff voice. Angelo held Max close, "He's coming home with me!"
Lucifer sighed and rubbed his face. "Angie" Angelo stood up, "Don't you dare Angie me! I want my babies back!!" He spoke back, causing Faz to tilt his head to the side. "Mommy who's that?" Angelo looked at Faz and smiled, "this is your older brother! Max and- wait- where's Alex?!" Angelo's voice filled with panic as he looked at Max. Max smiled softly, taking Angelo's hand, "I can show you where mommy, but we need to help Chris first" Angelo turned to the two people behind Max. Chris was now holding Jerry in his arms as he stares down Angelo and Lucifer. "R-right! Of course... um.. Mr.Chris we have much to discuss!"
