Long ago, there lived an ancient forest god who protected the woods from harm. Any who would dare harm the creatures or the forest itself would receive severe punishment. Those who enter the forest God's realm do not come back alive. The few lucky that have, have been driven mad, cursing and spewing out none sense until they're hauled away. They've said that to anyone who looks at the Forest God's eyes, they're driven to the brink of madness.
The Forest God lives alone and no one dares disturb him until...
"That sounds like Fun!!" A young blonde boy bounces up and down. A yawn can be heard from beside him, "sounds boring and long" a black haired male said tiredly. The merchant scoffs and points the scroll at them both, "This is not fun nor boring! It may be long, but this is a sacred scroll that details the mark of the Forest God!" The black haired male raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "Is there like... treasure or somethin?" He scratched his chin, very much not interested in the conversation. The merchant nodded, "Of course there is! The Forest God has the minerals of any kind! He is practically earth himself. He has the necessary powers to create things out of thin air! All of his wisdom is imaginable!"
The blondie 'oohed' and 'ahhed' while The black haired male bought liquor from the merchant next door. "We'll take it!" The blonde male screamed and took out his coin pouch. The merchant held out his hand, "that'll be 3,000 gold coins" The black haired male spit out his liquor and turned towards the merchant, "3,000?! Are you outta your mind?! Who has 3,000 pieces of gold??" He shouted. Blondie dug through his pouch, 'Lucifer's right'. Even with all his saved up gold, he's nowhere close to 3,000. "Merchant please. Is there any way we can buy it?" The merchant shook his head, "this is a sacred scroll. Only one exists and this here-" he waved it in front of their faces, "Is the last one" The blonde haired male opened his mouth to argue further, but was shut down by Lucifer.
"Forget it Angie. Let's just go" Lucifer held his companions hand and led him away from the stand. Angelo sighed, "I really wanted an adventure though" he whimpered softly and leaned into his partner's side. Lucifer chuckled softly, "who's to say you won't get it?" Angelo looked up at him in confusion before gasping. In Lucifer's hand held the scroll. "You're such a sneak!" Angelo smiled and kisses his cheek. "You're the absolute best baby!!" Lucifer smirked before handing it to him, "let's just find that stupid God guy" Angelo's smile grew and opened it back up. "Adventure awaits" he stated. "And we're gonna conquer it!"
