Shadow has always wanted to know who his soulmate was, but not anymore when he read the message that was on his arm. 'Is it just me or is that guy hot?' Shadow read the message over and over again and actually laughed when it first appeared. He showed his best friend, Koda, the message and he burst out laughing, but still gave a thumbs up. Shadow silently wished for Koda to be his soulmate, but it never happened, so it was never meant to be. Koda showed him his soulmate's message awhile ago, it was imprinted on his chest. 'C-can I hold your hand?' It was a small stutter, but Koda instantly knew everything about his soulmate. "He's gonna be shy and timid. Look out for anyone, shy and timid!" He spoke out and grabbed his backpack. They were both currently getting ready for school. Shadow rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah yeah. Got all your supplies?" Koda nodded as he left Shadow's room, "Everything is in it's place!" He called out and Shadow followed after him.
When they got to school, students were all hanging out by their lockers and chatting away. Shadow huffed and went to his locker, where a pair of guys were right next to it. The infamous Amelio and Allie, those two were inseparable. Koda waved at them and went to his locker. Shadow bumped lightly into Amelio as he opened his locker, carefully grabbing his stuff, trying not to mess up it's cleanliness. Amelio looked over before loudly whispering towards Allie, "Is it just me or is that guy hot?" Before Shadow had time to process the words, he turned towards Amelio and shot out, "Don't you have anything else to do besides hang out by lockers all day you ignoramus?!" Amelio's jaw fell open and Shadow stopped, his eyes widening. Amelio lifted up his shirt, showing off his stomach at him. 'Don't you have anything else to do besides hang out by lockers all day you ignoramus?!' Shadow felt his face heat up.
"N-no way" Shadow stared at him and Amelio stared back. Neither said anything for awhile, Koda looked between them for awhile before grabbing Shadow's hand and dragging him off. Amelio snapped out of his daze and looked towards Allie, "holy shit!" He shouted at him, making Allie wince. "I'm in love!!" He grinned and Allie smiled. "I'm so glad" he grinned happily at his friend and sighed. "I just wish I could find mine" Amelio nodded, Allie's was an odd message. He lifted up his pant leg before showing off just one word. 'Oh' Allie was puzzled on who it could be. "So many people have said oh, but none of them felt right" Allie sighed, he was truly a mess. "It's okay, but for now, let's follow my mate okay?"
Koda shook Shadow, they were currently outside, behind the school. "You found your mate!!" He basically screamed at him, making Shadow blush harder. "I-I did" he muttered and felt a small smile on his face. Before he could say anything else, Amelio ran out and looked around, pointing at Shadow. "You!" He exclaimed. "How dare you run away from me?" Amelio walked closer to Shadow and grabbed his hands, holding them close to his heart. "I would like to take you out somewhere. Are you available this Saturday?" Shadow felt his face heat up and squeezed Amelio's hands softly. "Y-yeah" he soft replied. Koda watched his friend and smiled softly. Allie smiled too and looked at Koda, he didn't want him to feel left out. He wanted to say something, but couldn't find the right words.
He saw him grab his friend's hand, so maybe that was a start. Allie cleared his throat softly and looked at Koda, who, now, had his attention on him. Allie squeaked feeling his eyes concentrate on him, looking down, Allie said, "C-can I hold your hand?" Allie mentally kicked himself at how dumb he sounded. He looked up at Koda, who had his hand on his mouth, blushing. Allie tilted his head at him before Koda spoke, "Oh" he said and held out his hand. Allie's eyes went wide and immediately his face turned red. He took Koda's hand slowly, squeezing it before Koda grabbed him and pulled him into a hug. Today had been a good day.
