"Are you seriously going out with this guy?" Amelio gasped and smiled. "Mr.Voice!! I haven't heard you in awhile. Well, not since my last suicide attempt" He heard the voice sigh. "You're doing better, but are you seriously going out with this guy?!" Amelio looked at his phone, he was looking at his photo of Raymond and him together. "I mean... yeah. He likes me and I like him" He felt his cheeks heat up and smile again. "I thought you liked Shadow" The voice said and Amelio blushed even more. "I mean.. I think I do.. well.. I mean I do! But I think I only like him.. as a friend?" "You sound perplexed" Amelio raised an eyebrow. "What does Perplexed mean?" The voice sighed.
"Nevermind. The point is, I'm trying to stop you from making a huge mistake" Amelio pouted. "If you just got to know the guy. Maybe you'd like him too!" Amelio tried reasoning. "Not likely" The voice said. "Call me back when you realize your mistake" Amelio's eyes widen. "Wait, Mr.Voice!" Amelio tried, but he was already gone.
"Hey.. are you okay in there?" Jerry asked as he opened the door. "I heard you talking to yourself?" Amelio sniffled and looked at Jerry. "I-I'm okay Mom"

"See, this is what I think you would look like" Amelio spoke to no one as he held up a drawing. "You'd look like a tentacle monster with an eyepatch!! Do you like it?" He waited for an answer or anything, but received nothing. He sighed as he erased part of his drawing. "You're so right. How stupid of me" He drew something else. "You'd obviously have a monocle and a mustache!!" He held it up again smiling. "Right?" Again, he received silence. He felt tears threaten to fall before holding them back and crumpled up his drawing. "Pssh. I know, I'm a terrible artist. Maybe I should pay someone to draw for me right?" He chuckled emptily and threw it in his trash. "Or maybe you just didn't like the drawing? The design? What about an alien?" He took out another piece of paper and started drawing. "W-with a beard! Y-Y'know?" He watched as his tears stained the paper. "B-but I-I never really f-figured out h-how to draw those" he sniffed and rubbed his eyes. "M-m-maybe you just don't like... m-me?" He put his pencil down.
"It's very difficult to ignore you if you're just gonna cry for me" Amelio gasped and rubbed his face. "Y-you're back!" He sighed in relief. "S-so you were there the whole time?" "Unfortunately yes" Amelio laughed. "Did you like the drawings?!" The voice groaned. "They were the worst drawings I've ever seen" Amelio grinned. "I know"

Raymond ruffles up Amelio's hair. "What's with all the lunch dates alone? You ashamed of me seeing your friends?" Amelio spat out his milk. "O-of course not!! I-it's not you... I guess I'm afraid of what my friends will think?" He sighed. "Allie, Koda and especially Shadow are my best friends. We've been through a lot! B-but I accidentally ghosted them for awhile because.. well I was trying to get the courage to ask you out. I don't know how to apologize.." Raymond smiled softly. "Well why don't you just go and.. talk to them" Amelio looked at him and smiled softly. "Yeah... you're probably right" Amelio got up, "I'll tell them now!" Raymond gave him a thumbs up and took a bite out of his hamburger. "Can we make out later though?" Amelio asked sheepishly, Raymond raised an eyebrow at him, thinking about it. "Only if you beg" Amelio huffed, face flushed red and said, "No" Raymond laughed. "Deal!"

Shadow was deep buried in a book, while Allie and Koda were making goo goo eyes at each other. "I think we should go to the park this weekend." Allie asked and leaned into Koda's side. "What about the woods? They're so peaceful in the morning. It'll be a little chilly, but we'll bring coats. I know a pond with the freshest fish" Shadow mentally sighed knowing he'd be a third wheel if he was invited, which was gonna happen in, 3, 2, 1- "Hey Shadow! You wanna tag along?" Allie asked. Shadow looked up from his book. "Nah, I'd only be a bother. Just go and have fun yourselves. I think my brother was gonna take me to the mall today" He hated making lies, but it was the only way to get them off his back. Allie looked dejected as Koda looked at him concerned. Ugh, Koda could read him like a book. "Well-" Allie started, but Amelio entered the room.
"Finally! I was looking forever for you guys!" He exclaimed and everyone turned away from him. "Y-you weren't at our usual hangout spit so... " Amelio laughed nervously as Allie huffed. "So about the woods" Koda nodded, he wanted to greet Amelio, but forgot he was angry at him. "Yes, we'll take the path with the bears. Everyone steers clear of that, but I'm a bear! So it should be fine" Amelio winced at being ignored and looked at Shadow. Shadow dove his head in the book and turned his back on him. Amelio took a deep breathe and said, "Guys, I'm sorry" Allie glanced his way, but continued ignoring him, Koda, followed Allie's lead. Shadow stopped reading for a second, but continued on.
"I'm sorry about ghosting you guys. I'm sorry about not telling you about my weird crush and I'm especially sorry for not hanging out with you guys lately. This is my first relationship and I.. I wanted it to go off without a hitch. I honestly didn't even realize I ghosted you guys and I deeply and honestly apologize about everything." He rubbed his arm. "I want you guys to meet Raymond. I want to sit back with you guys at lunch. I promise I won't make it weird, it'll be like old times, but with an extra person!" Allie looked at him and Koda turned towards him. Shadow closed his book softly and looked at him. "Please? I'll even get on my knees and beg" Amelio got on his knees and clasped his hands together. "Please?"
Allie sighed and got up, hugging him tight. "I missed you, you idiot!!" He buried his head in his neck and hiccuped, he was crying. Amelio hugged back tight and Koda got up, hugging them both. Shadow looked at them and crossed his arms. Amelio opened his free arm and looked at him. "I missed you" Amelio said and Shadow bit his lip. "I wanna be your best friend, your rival, your frenemy again" Shadow sighed and got up, hugging him too. "Don't ever do this again" He muttered and felt Amelio's arm wrap around him.
Meanwhile, Raymond was listening outside the room. "Lunching with cool guys now? Nice"
