First Snow (Irene)

It was almost night when Irene dragged Y/N out of her house and decided to meet. She really missed her girlfriend and couldn't wait one more day to meet her at school.

The school was having winter vacations and that really took a hefty piece of interaction from the couple. Y/N couldn't agree more when she heard Irene saying that she missed her so much.

Taking permission from their parents, they both met.

Irene had her hand intertwined with Y/N's as the other was in her jacket pocket. She was wearing her yellow beret which was a gift by Y/N.

"You look really adorable today, "Y/N said as she looked at her girlfriend with adoration.

Irene blushed slightly or maybe it was the winter effect because her cheeks were almost red. She giggled and replied, "Thank you. You look great too!"

"I try. By the way, where's this cafe you're taking me to?" Y/N asked.

Irene gave her hand a squeeze, saying, "Trust me. You'll love it."

Walking along the town's park, they both entered an unknown alley. Y/N scanned her surroundings dubiously, trying to get an impression of signs and shops.

After walking about 15 minutes more, Irene stopped in front of a small shop at the end of the alley.

"Whoa..." Y/N said as she gaped at the cafe.

It was a small and cozy cafe, decorated as the winter theme apparently. Snowman at the doorsteps and reindeers as the wall decoration. Entering the shop, the atmosphere gave both of them a shiver down their spine.

After walking into cold weather, the amiable temperature inside made them feel relaxed. Y/N smiled as she looked around. All of the interiors were made of wood and planks. To give it an aesthetic feeling, the chairs were replaced with bean bags.

"So, do you like it?" Irene asked as she tilted her head at Y/N.

Y/N looked down at her and replied, "Like it? I love this place, Joohyun! It's so warm in here!"

Irene chuckled at her reaction and pulled her towards an empty table at the corner of the shop. Y/N settled on her pink bean bag and felt the velvet fabric beneath her skin. She ran her fingers along the edge in amazement.

Irene sat close to her and gripped her hand again making Y/N look at her.

"You're acting clingy today, "Y/N commented and chuckled lightly.

Irene smiled widely, replying, "I haven't even started and you're complaining."

Y/N leaned closer until their noses touched and said, "I'm not complaining. I love your clingy side."

Irene's eyes trailed down her face and settled on Y/N's lips. Wanting to feel her lips against hers. Y/N's breath hitched slightly at the sparkle in Irene's eyes and she unconsciously wet her lips.

Irene's eyes never leaving her target, she gulped visibly. The static and itchy feeling made their hearts beat faster.

"Ahem!" A feminine cough interrupted them and they both pulled apart, blushing profusely.

"May I know what would you guys like?" the waitress asked while giving a broad smile.

"Uh, yeah. I, um, we would like to have two cups of hot chocolate. Thank you, "Y/N ordered as she hurriedly glanced at the waitress.

"Surely. And yeah, you guys are cute together, "the waitress threw them a wink before leaving.

Irene and Y/N shared a look before bursting into laughter. "Well, what do you think? Are we cute?" Y/N asked as she rested her chin in her palm, gazing at her girlfriend.
