Unfortunate (Seulgi)

A person who was born unlucky or as she thought so.

At an early age, her parents died in a sudden car crash, leaving her alone with her little brother, Beomgyu. He was very little to even care about the fact that he would not see his parents anymore and Y/N had to take care of him.

She didn't want him to feel any kind of emptiness in his life.

However, Y/N always felt that she was star-crossed, she thought that she might've done something right in her life for once.

Because she found a girl, beautiful and sweet. Who she loved with all her heart and decided to dedicate all her life to her.

It was none other than her boss, the CEO of Kang Enterprises, Kang Seulgi.

Four years ago, when Y/N was almost on the brink of suiciding due to hellish circumstances, Seulgi caught her from falling and told her that she would love her till death do them apart.

For them, affection was the most intimate part of their relationship. Y/N didn't like to show any type of fondness when they were at work. The company didn't know that they both were in a relationship, they didn't have to know about that.

Seulgi understood her feelings, knowing what Y/N had gone through.

One fine day, Y/N was doing her regular work, as she always did. Scheduling her girlfriend slash boss at the moment, meetings, and any other things she would need that day.

One thing that I forgot to tell you was that Y/N was a young and startlingly beautiful woman. She wasn't aware of it, but wherever she went, she caught the eyes of many passersby and people.

So, one of the fellow employees, who was stricken by her beauty, went up to her and started a conversation. Y/N being the generous person, whole-heartedly engaged in the talk and smiled whenever she needed to.

"You look undeniably pretty today, Miss L/N, "the man complimented.

Y/N looked up from her papers, gave him a subtle nod with a small smile, replying, "Thank you, Ryan. You look charming too."

Ryan, the employee, leaned forward, trying to convey his interest in her, and slicked his hair back, saying, "I'm having a party this weekend. I'd be delighted if you come."

"No, Ryan. I'm sorry, but I am very busy this whole week to even get up from my desk, "Y/N said while clicking some buttons on her laptop, entering the data.

"Oh come on, Y/N--"

"Ryan Tuffin!" a high-pitched voice shouted which Y/N knew all too well.

All the people who were around stood up with fear and looked at the scene unfolding before their eyes.

"Miss Kang!" Ryan said, eyes wide and jaw slack.

Seulgi walked forward as her heels clicked loudly against the marble floor. Her fist clenched to her sides and her eyes gave Ryan a deathly glare which scared Y/N too.

Ryan immediately bowed to her and stood straight with a polite smile, saying, "Good morning, Miss Kang."

"Good morning, my foot!" she growled slowly at him. "I don't want to see you slacking off again. Get back to work, right now!"

Ryan, scared, rushed with all he had back to his table, leaving Seulgi facing Y/N.

"M-Miss Kang--"

"I want you in my office. Now, "she ordered and Y/N gulped heavily before picking up her papers and tablet.
