It can't be (Jennie)

"Love? Wake up. You're gonna be late, "a soft whisper and a light squeeze on her shoulder pulled Y/N out of her deep slumber.

"Mmm, Jen, let me sleep more..." Y/N grumbled as she turned around and tugged the sheets over.

"But, love, you have a meeting with your staff today, "Jennie said as she pressed a light kiss against her cheek.

That made Y/N wake up from her sleep fully as she instantly sat up straight in her bed, staring off into the space. Jennie sat beside her as she laid her head against her shoulder and hooked her arm with Y/N's.

"Good morning, "Jennie said.

Y/N took a deep breath and released it as she replied, "Morning."

Carefully pulling apart, Y/N walked to the bathroom to get ready for the day but didn't throw a glance at her lovely girlfriend, which internally hurt her. Jennie decided not to think much of it and got dressed for the meeting with Teddy.

She walked into her closet and got dressed in a comfortable blazer and jeans with a crop top for the day. Jennie decided to wait for Y/N to come out and then she would bid her goodbye, but it was taking too long.

"I'll be late..." she murmured under her breath as she checked the time on her phone. A sudden message popped up on the screen, which urged her to go, leaving a note for Y/N at the dining table.

Jennie felt bad that she didn't have much of a time with Y/N these days but being the k-pop idol she had her duties to do. She left the house and drove off to meet Teddy.

After five minutes, Y/N came out of the shower wearing her bathrobe, she had a bunch of speech ideas in her mind to say today. Her restaurant was being renovated and she had so much work to do that it occupied her all time.

Hurriedly getting dressed, she picked up her bag and walked into the kitchen to have a slice of bread or two for the day. As she reached the table, beside her plate a yellow sticky note was stuck on the table.

Y/N picked it up and read.

Hey, love

I'm sorry that I couldn't have breakfast with you today. Teddy had something important for me so I had to leave early. I'll make it up tonight!

A sigh escaped her lips as she scratched the back of her neck. With all the work she had, Y/N forgot to give her time to the love of her life. She felt guilty reminiscing the events from this morning and thought how much it had hurt Jennie.

"Why are you so... thoughtful, Jen?" Y/N murmured under her breath as she took out her phone and dropped a message saying, I love you. Take care!

Eating the breakfast that Jennie made for her, Y/N walked out of the apartment and towards her car. She revved up the engine and drove towards her pristine restaurant which she dearly adores. The renovation idea was given by her head chef, and Y/N couldn't agree more.

Y/N knew that her restaurant was already very much famous but some changes wouldn't hurt. So, she carefully planned out the design she wanted with the help of her supporting staff and put all her efforts into this project.

Today she had a meeting with all her staff members for further discussion. It's been two weeks since the renovation started and the restaurant had been closed. With the closing, it definitely hurt its income.

Y/N had to think thoroughly about her decisions before taking a step. Today's meeting was about the renovation of the ceiling. She had prepared many ideas and designs the night before, resulting in her getting much less sleep than usual.
