Jessica put Isla to bed after her bath and went back downstairs with the rest of the family.
"Okay she's out. Mom, how do you feel about all of this? If you are.. are you okay?"
Catherine sighs. "I don't know. This is just a surprise."
"For us to." Sarah scoffs. "I didn't know you guys still did it."
"Oh my gosh Sarah!" Jessica rolls her eyes.
"Mom, dad, if there's a baby on the way then I'm happy." Jessica smiles.
"You are?" Catherine asked.
"Yeah! You guys, I grew up with no one. Now I have Isla, I have parents! A sister." Jessica smiles to Sarah. "I have the most incredible boyfriend.. who is technically my cousin but I never want to think of him that way!
. . . And now I possibly have a baby brother or baby sister on the way. This is so amazing to me. You have no idea how happy I would be. And Isla would be thrilled!" Jessica laughed.
"She'd love another aunt, or an uncle to play with." She smiled.
Catherine teared up and said, "Aw baby I love you and your sweet sweet heart!
Your father and I are going tomorrow at three."
"We should go too." Sarah nods.
"And why is that?"
"So we know immediately!"
"You will find out when I tell you."
"Fine!" Sarah rolls her eyes. "Now that we're through. Can I please go to the movies?"
"With who?"
"A friend."
Danny laughs. "Sarah doesn't have any other friends."
"Daniel, stop that!" Jessica fusses.
"It's her boyfriend. That kid I don't like."
"He's not my boyfriend, and he's a great guy, Danny!" Sarah responds.
"Do we know him?" Doug asks.
"No but she's been dating him for a couple months now." Danny said.
"What!" Both Doug and Catherine shout.
"Danny, will you go home?" Sarah asks.
"If y'all are gonna fight about this, can Danny please watch tv with me upstairs? We won't do anything!"
"Yeah uncle Doug. Unlike you I can keep it in my pants." Danny smiled.
"Just go up there before I slap my hand across your face."
"Woah, triggered!" Jessica said. "Okay I'm past it. Come on, Dan!" She smiles and takes his hand.
Jessica fell asleep in Danny's arms. Isla past out right beside them, and without them knowing, Bear cuddled right up to Isla.
It's late so Catherine came in to tell Danny to just stay the night.
"Come on Danny, you can sleep in the living room."
"Nooo." Danny whines and holds Jessica tighter. "Can I please sleep in here? You let me all the time when she was pregnant." He whispered.
"You weren't dating then."
"But she was still hot and I loved her."
"Oh gosh."
"Please aunt Cathy? She's so cuddly! We're just sleeping. Plus look how she's sleeping like a perfect angel."
