One week later.
Jessica's 17th birthday.
Catherine is 11 weeks pregnant.
"Mommy, wake up!" Isla straddles Jessica and slaps her hand across her face.
"Wow. Well good morning to you too, Isla."
Isla smiles and shouts, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!"
"Thank you, love bug!"
"I love you, Mama. You the best mama in the world!"
"Aw Isla! That's the best birthday present Ever! I love you too, baby girl. You're the best daughter ever!"
Isla giggles cutely. "Thank you, Mama."
Jessica kisses her daughter. "You're welcome, beautiful. Now let's wash up so we can get some yummy breakfast."
"YUMMY!"

"Good morning everyone!"
"Good morning! Happy Birthday, Jessie!" Catherine hugs her daughter, Doug does the same, and so does Sarah.
"Happy Birthday, Sis!"
"Aw, thank you!"
"Breakfast is ready and I made all your favorites!"
"Oh wow, thank you mom! You really didn't have to do this."
"I wanted to, honey! I love you!"
"I love you too, momma. How are you feeling?"
"A little queasy but not bad."
"You've been pretty lucky so far. Remember how sick I was?"
"Oh my poor baby was SO sick! I was that way with Sarah, but so far it hasn't been too horrible."
"Maybe that's because it's a boy!" Jessica smiles.
"Oh goodness, your father would love that!" She chuckles.
"A baby boy would be so much fun!! But a baby sister and auntie for Isla would also be really cute."
"I'd love a boy or a girl. It doesn't really matter to me."
"But me want a girl." Isla says.
"Of course you do." Catherine chuckles.
"I can put her in pwetty dwesses!"
"You can!"
"Oh mom before I forget! Will you please watch Isla for me tonight? Danny is taking me out." Jessica says with a smile.
"Of course! Where are you going?"
"Dinner and rides at Kemah."
"Oh fun! Don't eat too much and then get sick on the rides!"
"Yeah, not again! I'll be careful."
