Today Sam and Sarah are coming home for the summer. Jessica has kept hers and Danny's engagement a secret. She couldn't wait to tell her sister in person.
"Mommy, will you PLEEEASE let me tell aunt Sarah about our wedding?"
"I really want to tell Sarah, Isla. You got to tell Danny's parents.. Remember how you were screaming it out as soon as their front door opened?"
"Yeah." Isla giggles softly. "Fine but I'm gonna tell my friends when I go back to school!"
"You do that, bug!"
Isla gasps. "They're here!"
"Ooh they are! DANNY!" Jessica calls him from the kitchen.
"We're hoooome!" Sarah shouts.
"Sarah!" Jessica ran to her and squeezed her sister. "Oh I missed you!"
"I missed you too, Jessie! How are you doing? Are you okay?"
Jessica smiles and nods her head. "I'm perfect. I have to talk to you."
"Okay.." Sarah smiles and gives him a quick hug. "Hey Danny."
"Hey cuz."
Sarah then looks between Danny and Jessica and soon her eyes start to tear up. "What's going on?"
Jessica laughs. Sarah could see right through this. "I think you know."
"I want to hear you say it."
"We're getting married." Jessica smiles and Sarah immediately hugs her.
"I'm so happy for you!"
"Thank you."
"We're gonna be sister cousins! And Daniel is gonna be my cousin brother in law!"
Jessica laughs and nods her head. "Sarah.. let's not."

Later that evening after dinner the three stayed up in the living room watching a movie. Sam had to head back home to meet his parents, and of course Isla was around trying to fit in with the big kids.
"Mom and Dad said Danny could stay here if he wants. We're currently apartment hunting."
"Roomies! Sam should stay too!"
"That's too many lovers in one house."
"Isla!" Jessica's eyes went wide.
"What mommy? It's true!"
"She's a mess! So! When are you two getting hitched?"
Danny and Jessica reach for each others hand and share a smile. "The twenty-first night of September." Jessica says before Danny adds, "A night to remember."
"Oh you two are disgustingly cute."
Jessica giggles. "Sar, I think this goes without saying but.. you will be my maid of honor, won't you?"
"I mean I was hoping for an elaborate way of asking but, I guess this is good too."
Jessica laughs. "Come on, Sar!"
"Of course I will! I'm gonna be the best damn maid of honor! Just wait until the bachelorette party. Strippers, strippers, and more strippers!"
"Oh God, Sarah." Jessica covers her face. "No!"

The summer consisted of late night hang outs like old times, apartment hunting, and lots and lots of wedding planning.
