"Mommy say I go home today! You come home too, Danny? Or you gotta stay and gib blood to other big kids?"
Jessica smiles as Isla speaks to Danny.
"No sweets, I'm going home too!" Danny has been staying with Jessica in the hospital in case anything happened to Isla.
"YAY! You can come to my house and have a sleepover today, okay?"
Jessica laughs and nods her head.
"Thank you so much for the invitation, pretty girl." Danny smiles then turns to Jessica.
"You okay?" He asks.
Jessica takes a deep breath. "Yeah.. just relieved they found the woman who hit her. This whole thing has been a nightmare, I just want to go home and be with her. I'm never taking her out ever again."
"Jess, you have to take her every once in a while."
"Then I'll carry her everywhere! This was all my fault and I feel terrible."
"Mommy no be sad! The bad guys hurt me, not youuuu!"
"But I should have protected you, Isla." Jessica sits beside her and cries."
"Mama no cwy!" Isla reaches her hand up to wipe her tears. "I lub you, okay? No cwy cause me lub you."
Jessica smiles and hugs her daughter I love you too, Isla bug."
Isla giggles and hugs her mother tightly.

When arriving at the house, Jessica carried Isla in.
"Me can't walk, mommy?"
"Not yet, but soon baby."
"My leg is not working."
"No but you'll be better before you know it."
Danny opened the door while Doug carried in their bags.
"Surprise!" Catherine and Sarah shout.
"WHAT! It my bifday?"
"We threw you a welcome home, party, Isla!" Sarah smiles.
"WOAAAAH!"
Danny chuckles and says, "And we have lots of ice cream!"
"YAAAAYYYY!" Isla shouts and reaches for Danny.
"You guys, this is really sweet, thank you so much." Jessica says.
"It's been a crazy few days, and we just wanted to celebrate Isla being okay, and you being so strong throughout the whole thing." Catherine says.
"Aww."
Danny then loudly clears his throat.
"And Danny being a life saver!"
Jessica smiles and places her hand on Danny's back.
"Ah it was no big deal." Danny smiles as Isla plays with his face.
"I don't know what I'd do without you, Danny. Because of you the only problem we have now is her little leg. It could have been so much worse. Thank you." Jessica smiles and kisses his cheek.
Danny blushes and chuckles nervously. "Any time!"
Jessica laughs and playfully nudges him.

Jessica stayed home from school for a week to care for Isla, but now the time has come for her to go back.
Jessica knew Catherine would take good care of her like she always has, but she wanted to be the one to be there for her. Isla didn't want her mommy to leave either.
