After school and a few hours of work, Danny dropped Jessica and Isla off at home.
"Come in, babe." Jessica smiled. "I mean, unless you don't want to."
"No I would love to. . but I have to head home and watch my siblings." Danny rolls his eyes.
"Oh I forgot about that." Jessica pouts. "You sure you can handle all three by yourself?"
"Uh, Nope." Danny laughs.
"I wish I could help you."
"Me too. ." Danny said with a pout.
"I can help you, Danny." Isla smiles.
"Aw thank you, princess!"
Jessica chuckles. "I can help you. Just let me shower and change."
"Ooh! Ooh! I wanna watch, I wanna watch!"
Jessica laughs and taps his arm.
"Danny, that's disgusting."
Danny looks down to Isla and she looked to him with a judgmental little face.
"Yeah you peeper!"
"I apologize."
Isla covers her mouth and giggles.
Danny chuckles then turns to Jessica. "I can wait for you but-" He looks to his watch.
"I'll see if my dad can take me, don't worry about it."
"You sure?"
Jessica smiles softly. "Positive."
Danny smirks and kisses her lips.
"Gosh." Isla sighs and covers her face.
Jessica breaks the kiss and laughs. "What?" She looks down to her daughter.
"Can you just open the door and let me inside please?"
"Sure. Sorry!"
"It's fine. Just hurry. I need to watch cartoons with my Poppy."
Jessica laughs and unlocks the door.
"Thanks." She takes off running. "POPPY! I'M HOOOME!"
Danny chuckles. "She is one funny little turd."
Jessica giggles. "She is."
"Now. Where were we?"
Jessica giggles once again as they wrap their arms around each other and share a kiss.
Just then Danny's phone rings.
"Dammit, I bet it's my mom!"
Jessica smiles. "It's okay. You go. I'll be there soon."
Danny takes her hand and looks deep into her eyes. "You sure? I feel bad, I know you're tired."
"I'm sure. I like spending time with you." She smiles. "Do you want me to bring food?"
"No it's okay. My mom made food. There should be plenty for you and Isla."
"Ooh yum!"
Danny chuckles and kisses her once again. . . Then his phone rings once again.
"HELL!"
Jessica laughs. "Go Daniel."
"Bye!"
