The next morning you wandered downstairs still half asleep and found your mom at the table:
"Hey, sweetie. Emma told me to tell you she had to go get ready for work. Are you off today?"

You poured yourself a cup of coffee and answered: 
"Yeah, thank God. I worked two days straight with that dude. I need a break."

Mom: "Great that you made a friend there though, right?"

You: "For sure! Emma is really awesome, isn't she."

Mom: "Mmmhmmm. So, what are you doing with your day off?"

You: "I have plans I think. Is Dad still taking you out later for dinner to make up for cutting your trip short?"

A response came from your phone first and you interrupted to race upstairs and get ready.

You didn't really know what to wear or how to act because last time you'd made plans with Jaden it was for the supposed to be date that never happened. Now seeing him that way was so far from your mindset. You had barely finished your hair when Jaden texted that he'd be there to pick you up in 5. You hurried and sent a message to Noah before sliding on a jacket and hurrying out.

You felt bad for blowing off Noah but in your defense you'd never agreed to the plans he asked for. You knew you needed to talk to him and soon but you weren't exactly eager to break the kids heart.

You climbed in his car and he smiled over at you: 
"I'm glad you called!" 

He really was so cute it was insane. Not the same way Josh was hot but distracting all the same. You could definitely see how Chase would have been confused by Jaden making a move on him. His long tattoos down his forearm, across his neck and behind the ear that seemed to dance as he talked. Definitely the kind of boy you lost your train of thought by looking at him.

He must have noticed the silence and added:
"Ready?"

You: "I'm glad you agreed to see me. I know before you didn't really want to talk about you and me or you and Chase or really anything but I'm still just so confused."

Jaden admitted:
"I think he is confused too. I have been out as bi since high school so it's not really a big deal to me but Chase is still not ready."

You: "So you really did meet him before I came into the confusion? Wow."

Jaden: "It's gotta be the biggest coincidence, honestly. But you have to know I actually did like you."

You: "You just really liked him too..."

Jaden: "It doesn't matter really. Guy or girl, I will never beg someone to choose me and show it."

You could understand that having spent 2 years begging Tayler to choose you when he spent the entire time choosing everyone.

Should Jaden make a move on us or be caught up on only Chase now?
