Hearing him confess that should have softened your tone, but truthfully it just enraged you. All the years of torment and back and forth. He'd been using that as an excuse to suck you back in for years but this time it wasn't going to work!
You: "Ya know if that was anything more than a manipulation you probably wouldn't have cheated on me with her for months."
Tayler looked at Olivia, who had just walked out in time to hear that revelation, dumbfounded. Olivia and Tayler looked at each other then at Eva as if to try and read which one of them spilled the truth.

Suddenly, all 3 turned to glare at Emma. Even though she'd lashed out at you, you knew she truly cared about you and you felt awful knowing she was about to get the brunt end of all of their fury. To your surprise Olivia just scoffed and smiled.
Olivia: "You know what? I don't care if she knows. Maybe then you'll finally be done with running back to her!!"
Tayler: "Bro, you've literally known from the beginning that she was my girl and yet still kept coming after me."
Olivia yelled back: "If she's your girl, then what tf does that make me?"
Emma finally had enough blurted out: "A homewrecking whore?"
You were grateful Emma finally stood up for you and you couldn't help but smile. Even Eva let out an accidental chuckle over that burn but quickly covered your mouth with her hand when Ilivia shot her a dirty look.
In spite of Emma coming to your rescue, you still felt the need to correct him: "That's the thing… I'm not your girl. I'm not your anything. I haven't been in a long time. In fact… maybe I shouldnt even be your employee!"
You took off your apron and sat it on the bar next to Tayler. Before you could chicken out you turned and ran out of the restaurant. You knew you were probably making a mistake. Your mom had been so good with letting you move back home after crashing and burning your first semester of college and all she asked in return was for you to get a job. You'd worked here 3 weeks and just walked out and quit mid-shift. What were you thinking?! You texted Josh what you'd immediately called you to reassure you everything would be okay. He had been super busy the last week of his trip but it was nice to know that he could find time if you ever really needed him.

Tayler called after you: "Wait!!"
Emma stepped in front of him: "I'll go. I think you've done enough damage."
Olivia: "Please, let the crybaby go home. Better yet... why don't you follow her, Emma."
Tayler: "Olivia! ENOUGH!"
Emma: "You know what? You can find a new roommate. I can't live with people I trust and you, Olivia, are one backstabbing bitch."
Emma turned to Tayler and asked: "My shift is over in 20mins. Are you going to fire me if I leave to make sure what you've done to her doesn't destroy her?"
Tayler just motioned for the door and whispered: "Just go. I'll see you for your shift Saturday."
