You woke up the following morning in the same position you had fallen asleep in. Levi's chest was a warm pillow, his faint, rhythmic heartbeat thumping in your ear. You didn't want to move, wishing to go back to sleep in the safe haven that was his presence.
Levi's arm tensed around your back, then loosened as he gained consciousness.
No, don't wake up yet. I wanna sleep longer.
"Mm, good morning." He rolled onto his side, pulling you into his chest with surprising strength for having just woken up.
"Morning, Levi." You melted into his body as you returned his embrace, enveloped in his comfort.
"What time is it?" he asked.
"I don't know," you whispered.
"Mm." He curled his body in, holding you tighter. "I'll check in a second."
"Okay." You didn't fight his laziness, wanting to indulge in the moment as long as possible.
He ran his hand up and down your back, rubbing it lovingly. His breathing was quiet, but soothing to listen to. I still can't believe it. This is like heaven.
After a few minutes, Levi was as distraught as you were to get up. "We need to get ready," he declared as he turned away from you, checking his phone on the bedside table.
"Unfortunately," you sighed.
Levi crawled out of bed, running through his morning routine by starting with his closet. "I thought you said we should wait to live together, yet you're over almost every night. Isn't that peculiar?"
"Gah, do you have to tease me first thing in the morning?" you grumbled as you sat up.
"All I'm saying is, you already know I'm okay with it. Whenever you want to move in, I'll be ready." He took out a hanger adorned with a black blazer.
"We've been dating a week, Levi."
"Yet it feels like we've been in a relationship for months."
"Two months. We've known each other for two months."
"Hm. Felt longer." Levi moved to his dresser next. "Well, no rush. Just know that the option is there."
"I know."
Levi went to the bathroom after retrieving an outfit for you. Another classy set of attire, composed of black slacks that paired with a white dress shirt. He does know color exists, right? you thought to yourself as you changed alone in his bedroom.
"It's already 7:45," Levi said as he exited the bathroom. "I won't have time to cook breakfast."
"That's fine. I don't usually eat anyways."
"Didn't we talk about this? You have to eat properly."
"I know, but-"
"No excuses. I'll make sure you get something to eat this morning." Levi finished adjusting the watch on his wrist. "We'll stop by a coffee shop."
"Fine with me," you said as you crossed to the bathroom, shutting yourself inside.
Once ready for the day, you opened the bathroom door only for Levi to ambush you, taking you by the waist and tossing you onto the bed on your back.
"Wh- Levi! We have to go-"
"I know." He crawled on top of you. "Just give me a minute."
You couldn't say anything before his lips collided with yours, smashing together in a fit of heightened craving. It was not a sensual, soft kiss but rather a fervent act of primal desperation. His fingers grasped the rear of your skull, clinging onto you like you would escape should he let go. Quiet moans escaped from both of you as he kept attacking, engulfed in the sudden but welcome burst of desire.
