AMETHYST'S P.O.V

Siapa sangka kakak saya akan dilamar oleh lelaki yang bukan bernama Braxton. Ck.

I expected after years being in a relationship they would end up at the altar.

But geez was I wrong.

Ah, lelaki memang semua buaya! Tidak boleh dijadikan laki, apa lagi binatang peliharaan.

I'm at the airport catching my flight to Auckland.

New Zealand here I come! Yeay!

Tapi rasa bersalah menyelubungi hati saya.

I took out my handphone from my handbag and dialled Sapphire's number.

"Apa?" Sapphire macam merajuk oh. Erk.

"I'm sorry bah, you know this is a long expected final project with Chanel to get accreditation, right?" Saya buat suara manja sambil buat bunyi-bunyi smooching.

Memang saya manja bah, saya kan adik paling kecil. Hehehe.

"Hurmmm, yalah tu." Sapphire sighed.

"I'll be back for your wedding I promise!" Saya bilang dengan ceria.

"Saya ingat tu janji kau ah." Sapphire macam bagi warning ni.

And we ended the call.

My flight is boarding sudah. Laju saya berjalan menuju to the departure hall. The rest of the team from other countries akan berjumpa di New Zealand a day after everyone landed.

Awww! I'm so excited.

But my excitement always ended up with me sleeping throughout flights. Hahahaha. Selalu saja saya tertidur dalam kapal terbang.

Entah how many hours into the flight, tiba-tiba ada announcement from the pilot.

Are we landing already?

Ahhh, macam hati saya mau melonjat-lonjat kegembiraan.

But...

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking."

Okay...

"We regret to inform that we will be landing in Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport due to unforeseen cirmcumstances. "

Unforeseen circumstances?

What the...? Why are we landing in Sydney instead of Auckland?

Kalau saya masih hafal peta dunia, I think Sydney is the closest city in Australia to Auckland, New Zealand. Jadi kenapa tidak alang-alang saja?

Saya memandang sekeliling, I don't see anything unusual.

Tiada pun terasa turbulence kah apa.

I wanted to stop a stewardess and ask her why are landing in another city and not our destination city, tapi cepat betul dia berjalan.

Then the preparation for landing announcement filled the cabin.

And the pilot's announcement blasted through the speakers a few minutes later.

"Cabin crew, prepare for landing."

Okay. So I'll be stranded in Sydney sampai bila?

40 minutes later I find myself filling up clearance forms and am ushered by airport staffs together with other passengers.

Saya masih dalam kebingungan dengan situasi di Sydney Airport sekarang. Yang saya dengar hotel dan pengangkutan sudah disediakan oleh pihak airline.
