I looked at my wrist watch.

Lain pula otak saya berfikir. In my head, I'm calculating the hour differences between KL and Sydney. 3 hours.

It's 4pm in Sydney.

My head can't stop thinking what are they doing right now. Jeremiah and Rachel.

My heart can't stop racing. Am I having an anxiety attack? I read alot about anxiety attack that was caused by depression.

Then my mind started to recall all the online books I read about secretaries having an affair with their bosses.

Tiba-tiba handphone saya berdering, mengejutkan saya dari membayangkan tentang Jeremiah.

Uh, buduh lah kau, Amie. Janganlah terlalu mengharap after what happened that night. Or rather that dawn.

"Hi!" Suara ceria seorang lelaki di hujung talian.
"Hey." I tried to sound as happy.

"Mana janji Starbucks saya?" Leo.

I laughed.
"You sure you masih mau me belanja you Starbucks?" Saya tanya sambil terkekeh.

Ya, dia masih mau juga? After what Jeremiah said to him on the phone.

"Mau bah." Leo bilang. "Tapi next week lah sebab sekarang I'm in KL visiting my father."

My lips tilted a smile. For the first time, a genuine smile.

"Well, guess what?" Saya tanya Leo.
"What?" Leo tanya saya balik.
"I'm in KL too." Saya bilang.
"Serious?" Leo sounded excited.

"Ya bah." Saya jawab. "One Starbucks is on the way." Hahahaha.

"Ah, tipulah." Leo masih tidak percaya kunun.

Astaga.

"Tidak percaya bah dia." Saya bilang. Macam sudah lama kami berkawan bah cara kami bercakap. "Jumpa bah kalau berani."

Hahahaha. Saya bah yang mencabar.

"Berani bah." Leo jawab saya. "Di mana? Midvalley?"

"KLCC lah dekat sikit." Dekat sama office and tempat tinggal saya. "Or Pavi."

"Bah set." Leo bilang.

Kami berjanji untuk berjumpa di Starbucks Pavillion besok petang.

Then my handphone rang again.

Saya jawab panggilan tanpa check handphone screen saya. Datang balik tu tebiat buruk kau, Amie.
