Your POV

Scarlett is finally sobering up while I drive us back to my place. On the gear shift is my hand with hers on top, ever since our little talk, we haven't spent more than a second apart at that bar.

We didn't tell anyone yet though about us figuring it out finally.

"Do you think that for a little bit, we can just keep this with us? I really want this to work, Y/N. I've been wanting this for a while. And it has to work. I don't want to mess this up."

I steal a little glance at her but make sure to keep my eyes on the road as I smile and turn my hand on the gear upside down so that I can lace our fingers together. I rub small patterns on her hand and nod.

"I think that's a good idea. I don't want to mess this up either. We take it slow. Day by day, yeah?"

Scarlett hums in agreement and I lift our hands to kiss the back of hers, pulling into my driveway, turning to see the redness starting to paint her cheeks before she smiles, "Deal. As for Rose?"

"We'll tell her when the time is right."

Once I'm parked in the garage, I go to get out of the car but Scarlett places her hand on my arm, stopping my actions. I look towards her and frown when I see a look in her eyes I'm not positive on, but it's definitely a happy look.

Her body leans over until her lips land on mine, my brain completely melting away any other thought that isn't centered around her. Even with my eyes closed, I can see the colors forming all around behind her body and head, like a bursting color wheel of emotions.

When I feel the coldness of absence on my lips I pout and open my eyes, the first thing in my vision being the eyes of a blonde goddess of beauty and nature.

"Just one more before we go in."

She goes to open her door but I lean over and grab the handle, closing it, bringing on a set of confused eyes and downturned lips. Tilting her head, I smile, "Let me."

I hop out of the car and jog to her side, opening the passenger door and gesturing with my hand, "my lady."

Scarlett giggles and takes my hand as I stretch it outright to her, allowing me to help her out of the vehicle. When I shut the door behind her, she grabs onto my blazer jacket and pulls me back into her lips, only this time it's with more force.

Groaning into the kiss, desperate to have it not end, my eyes squeeze shut even tighter when her tongue makes its way into my mouth, hungry to taste every emotion, every desire that I have for her.

It makes my insides light up like the presents under a tree do for a child on Christmas. My whole being never wants to let go of this moment, of this night. But it's hardly close to over.

When we pull away I smile and brush a few strands of her beautiful blonde locks behind her ear, taking a moment to breathe in the beautiful being before me. Taking a moment to absorb the fact that she is finally mine, that after months of pining, years of crushing, I get to call this angelic woman, this goddess, mine.

And man am I lucky.

"We should get inside," I whisper and she hums with a soft smile, eyes blinking ever so slowly, like she doesn't want to even blink, like if she does it takes a fraction of a second away from looking at me.

That only lights my heart up more.

"Yeah. Let's go," She licks her lips and I open the garage door inside for her, waiting for her to walk through before I close and lock it.
