The next day Mari told the group about how things are better between her and Adrien. Now that things were good with them they had another problem. Mei was answering any of her friends so her closest friend, Deb went over to her place because both of their parents were somewhere out of the country. Mostly all of class C7's parents are too busy and never home to spend time with their kids. So the only thing they have to spend time with is with their friends.
Deb sighed. She stood outside of Mei's door, knocking. Luckily Mei answered. "Oh, hey Deb."
"Hey Mei. Can I come in?"
"Yeah sure." Mei let Deb in the apartment. Deb sat on the couch seeing that her apartment wasn't as cleaned up as it used to be.
"Mei what is going on?"
"Nothing?"
"Was it that text that Ben sent you?"
"Maybe, I just really like him and it has been for a while."
"Really? I never suspected a thing. So I guess it was the text."
"Yeah, I decided. I'm not going to the party tonight."
"What?! Just because of Ben?"
"I just don't want to face him. I'm just scared to face him."
"Don't be discouraged by him. That's what guys do in this grade. They don't know what they want and when a girl asks them that type of question. They freak out, saying something that they really don't mean."
"True, I might go but can I walk in with you?"
"Sure. Since we have been in a ten year friendship."
"Thanks Deb."
Around twelve pm Adrien strutted into the club. "Hey guys."
"Don't 'hey guys' us!" Kagami snapped.
"Yeah, why'd you walk out on us like that. When Kagami and I were telling you about the baby, you just walk out saying, 'I'm leaving guys. I'm going home.' We didn't know what home you were talking about." Felix hissed.
"Guys, chill. The club really wasn't my thing."
"Still, you are not allowed." Kagami raised her eyes brow.
"Aw come on Kagami. We're close friends and I was by your side when you were pregnant. Now, you're stuck with Felix."
"Well, you were not listening on the night when you walked out on us. Felix was the one who found out about the pregnancy. False alarm."
"The smart one." Felix boasted. "But how's Marinette doing?"
"Yeah, I haven't heard much."
"She moved up to to class C7."
"That class for the elites?" Kagami asked in shock. "Bruh that class is only for parents who request their kids to be in that class since they are rich in Asia. Man, after when Mari's mom made a difference in the business industry."
"Yeah because those kids were underrated before Sabine Cheng became famous. Some where in different underrated classes only because their parents were only known in Asia. Though since Sabine struck, the school woke up and realized all the rich students in their school. To satisfy the others they made an elite class. Since, they were bright students. Some kids were local and came because they knew some of the other students." Felix added. Showing off his knowledge for the daily rich news.
"God, are Asians just smart or successful or something?" Adrien cocked his head back, groaning.
"Bruh, use the brain. The Lees, Huangs, Lows and you name it. The whole class of C7 date back to earlier years than Tsurugis, my family. The Tsurgugis are Japanese more famous for their fighting stuff back in 1947 then e.t.c. Though the class C7 years date back to the Sui Dynasty in China so they were big back then. But the Chengs are super old money rich. Dating back to Qin Dynasty. They left China in the eighteen hundreds but they were packed. They headed down to Singapore to start up stuff like banking and property. In nineteen forty-two they came back to China, but split between the Shangs and Chengs due to marriage. The Shangs went to Shanghai. The Chengs went to Hong Kong. Though one of the Chengs went to Shanghai for cooking because...yeah." Kagami shrugged. "Though around in the early two thousands the Chengs sort of had a major drop in money and they sort of stepped out of fame until 2018 when they sort of had a comeback. You know like The Boyz. Then since Hui Cheng passed on his business over to his little sister, Sabine Cheng. She managed to bring up her fame in just two days. No one can do that and it was impossible. But not for the Chengs. Ever since the Shangs found out about it they proposed a business proposal and now the Shangs own ten percent of the Cheng's financial business. Also five percent royalties. Then I heard their big pitch it all over Asia. They are popular with the people who play Mobile Legends: Bang Bang because they sponsor them in some of their financial ads."
"And I thought you and my family had a history." Adrien mumbled.
"That's the sad part." Felix got on his phone checking for updates, "there was a live stream happening at Wang's home yesterday. Also, did you hear about the party?"
"At Wangs?"
"Yeah, are you going because he keeps on posting how all freshmen are allowed."
"I'm going."
Kagami and Felix looked at each other. She sighed, speaking in a deep voice she said: "Okay, we gotta talk."
"What?"
"There is some things you have to know. Class C7 isn't that welcoming to your class. They were probably welcoming to Mari was because she was one of them and they found out about her abuse by everyone in that class. We are different from them, they have a dynasty unlike us. They are old money rich. Just don't assume stuff because of us. Now...GO."
"Okay then. I might be back at nine for the hype tonight."
"I never said you were allowed."
"You're not fighting that hard and I know you want me back."
"Fine, come back and see if I care. I don't care if you never come back either."
"You can assume one thing but don't know the other. But I'll be back." Adrien walked out of the club. Rather having a sense of classic charm in him that made her love him a little.
