The class C7 group chat was exploding at four AM to where it got interesting. Mari woke up due to how many dings there were and she didn't want it to wake up Adrien. When she looked at her phone to turn off the ringer there was a text from Vic that made her go on the chat instantly.

Vic: Ik y Ms. Lin Chong isn't working at the school anymore.

Van: WTH

Travis: Spill it

Vic: there is something that I have only told to three ppl on a secret I have been hiding. Just don't make a big deal outta it bc yea

Nana: SPILL IT

Vic: gurl I told u ying and ben already-

Nicky: AND NOT ME?? >:[

Hao: Dramatic-

Deb: come on tell us

Vic: Ms. Lin Chong is my mother, Tang Chan.

Ben: I-

Lu: wait then y did she leave??

Vic: fired bc she took the blame for Zhao and Wang when we cheated on the quiz. Now she is jobless

Van: YASS ALMIGHTY LIN CHONG IS OUT AND NOW SHE'S JOBLESS??

Fen: BRUH I CANNOT BELIEVE IT

Mari: So that is what happened?? Gawd never thought of that

Vic: yea but my father has a new gf

Nicky: rlly??

Vic: apparently he does. He's talking abt plans to move to China w his gf and he gave me the option to go w him so possibly I will. Anyways, im failing

Lu: have u told ur mom

Vic: no

Zhao: well have fun w almighty Lin Chong

Wang: yea have fun since she's not a teacher anymore

Mei: has he told ur mom tho

Vic: nope just our secret. Cya now

She put up her phone, turning off the ringer. There she lied next to her lover, Adrien. She turned and wrapped her arms around him, holding him close to her. She had enough drama in her life and knew that she needed a break. A break from everything.

The next day Lin Chong went around town while her daughter was off at school. She went to a school to try to get a job as a teacher. There she sat with the dean of school with her records.

"I am a teacher." Lin Chong spoke confidently. "One of the best and you can be rest assured that the students will be in great hands."

"Yes, I can see that from your experiences at Françoise Dupont Middle School/High School. You won several awards and you were elected teacher of the year by your peers. That's very impressive." Said the dean.

"Yes, thanks to Mei. Though the year part was more in several months, they made an exception for me.  I even had the top student of the cohort in my previous class, class C7. Once again it was Mei. And no matter what group of students I was teaching, even it was the worst class in the school I brought their grades up. I believe in every child and their potential. My strengths as a teacher? Well, I am able to inspire, motivate and lead. Some might say that I might be a little bit strict at times, but that is all part and parcel of teaching isn't it? At the end of the day, I was well appreciated by my students and the school's faculty. Making me one of the top educators that the academy has ever appointed."
