Exam Day

Two weeks later it was officially Thursday and exam day occurred once again. "Well this exam will be different since Ms. Lin Chong isn't here." Travis stretched walking into the classroom.

"First time experience with Ms. Vance then." Nana sighed.

"I mean isn't that supposed to be good?" Nicky asked.

"I guess." Feng yawned taking a seat.

Once everyone was in the classroom Ms. Vance went to the front of the room clearing her voice. "Okay students as you all know, exams are today and once when you are finished with this exam please leave it at my front desk and then you are free to leave. This should take at least one hour and forty-five minutes and yes, calculators are allowed. Remember no talking and cheating. If you are caught you are ordered to leave the classroom and you will score a zero along with your parents getting a notification on what happened. You have five minutes to look through the papers." She walked around the room handing out papers.

When she got to Fen, Fen handed her a Chanel bag. "I noticed your purse was getting a little beat so I got you a new Chanel purse."

"Fen, you know us teachers are not allowed to accept gifts on exam day." Ms. Vance smiled.

"Are you sure?"

Ms. Vance looked around handing her, her exam while taking the bag. "I will still be grading your paper fairly though."

"Hand it back."

"No, it's mine now."

After the five minutes of looking through the exam paper Ms. Vance declared that they may start the exam. Everyone got started unlike Van who forgot his calculator he looked at Mei with worry.

"Hey Mei." He whispered.

"What?" She whispered back.

"Can I borrow your calculator?"

"I need it."

"But I am going to fail. Do you really need the calculator. I mean you are the smart student yah know?"

"I don't need the calculator. The calculator needs me."

"Please Mei."

"Ugh, fine I guess I can do it without the calculator." She handed the calculator to him.

They were only fifteen minutes in the exam then Zhao raged standing up throwing the exam on the ground. "DAM IT! THE ONE TOPIC I DIDN'T STUDY FOR HAD TO APPEAR IN THIS EXAM!"

"Zhao, sit down or you will fail." Huffed Ms. Vance.

"Sorry Ms. Vance." He sat down, picking up his exam off the floor continuing to work on the topic he didn't study for.

Ying was trying her best but when she turned the page the more difficult it got. When did it get this hard?!

Luckily she got to one question and her expression changed. "Here is something I studied for." She murmured to herself. She took out her squishy and started to squeeze it but it looked like a butt. "Thank you, thank you."

"Ying," Ms. Vance spoke. "Are you using that to cheat?"

"No, this is my lucky charm."

"But it's inappropriate." She took it looking at it hard. "You know what. Come to me after class to get it."

She started to walk away with her lucky charm while Ying was mumbling. "Wait no, but it's my lucky charm."
