Handling Change (somehow)

School went on and stuff occurred here and there. Kagami gave Adrien a nickname and it was sunshine. Adrien didn't like it at all, but since she didn't go to the same school as he did he was okay with it. Though him and Marinette didn't talk anymore. School was the same and as usual exams scared everyone.

"Exams are in one months and so is summer vacation." Announced Ms. Vance. "This time if you get anything below a fifty there will be summer school."

"Wonderful. I'm going to be spending my whole summer doing summer crap." Whispered Van to Wang.

As usual class C7 knew that when exams showed up Marinette was studying for twenty-four hours each day. Exams occurred and soon they got out of school for summer vacation. Mari was in the locker rooms gathering her stuff until almost a ghost appeared.

"Hey Marinette." Said Adrien slowly walking towards her with his hands stuffed in his pockets.

"Oh, Adrien." She said surprised.

"I know it's the end of the school year and I know that our last visit wasn't the best."

"Why bring that up? It's over now."

"Yeah, it is. As you know I have a girlfriend and it's Kagami."

"I know. It's on every cover in Paris. How can I miss it?" She got annoyed by how he was bringing this up. She saw Kagami as her rival once again. "This isn't what you planning on telling me?"

"No, no just—just that I have to admit I do see why you wanted to end our relationship and I get it. Almost. I was being a little pushy."

"A little?"

"Well not a little. But can we go back to being friends? You know like we can still talk here and there."

"Friends?"

"Yeah, if it's fine with you."

"I'm fine with it. I actually miss talking to you, you know."

"Yeah," he held out his hand towards her, "friends?"

She took it smiling at him. "Friends."

Eh...back to square one of these two idiots. But grades for Mari were all A's. The latest one was an hundred which made her relieved that she didn't have to leave, but still she carried a heavy burden on her.

"Okay guys. Travis, Van and Feng go gold lane. Hao, Wang and Zhao go experience lane. Ben and Lu just stay mid lane." Ordered Marinette. "If we lose this. These jerks that Ben used to hang out with will steal our court."

"Dam, she's using MLBB language." Nana said.

"Mari, have you ever thought about being the manger of the school's basketball team?" Nicky asked.

"Okay guys, go in!" Mari yelled, watching them go on. She turned to them speaking: "No, like is the school having some sort of basketball thing going on?"

"Yeah, they're looking for a manger." Mei added. "Tournaments are going to happen with freshmen, sophomore, juniors and seniors. They just go against each other to be the top of the school."

"Exactly, if these duck heads beat these dorks, then they should just join the sophomore team." Ying cocked her head back. "They are also having tryouts this week for players and two mangers for each class of rank."

"That means you can be manager with someone from unknown class for team sophomore." Said Deb.

"You know...summer goes by fast like in two weeks we go back." Fen sighed.
