School came around and it was Monday. Luckily the school narrowed it down to one exam each year so that meant the last day of school were exams. Obviously, Marinette studied and was busy with being a basketball manager. Class B7 and class C7 were having a rematch on Wednesday so the team was working hard. Kagami wasn't talking to Marinette, only giving her angry eyes. Adrien was more clingy to Mari ever since the break up.

After basketball training Marinette slung her bag over her shoulder getting ready to leave until Adrien stood in front of her. "Oh, hey."

"Hey, I have to go now. Can you please mo—" Before she knew it he planted a kiss on her lips, as her back hit the lockers.

He pulled away slowly looking at her. "I have fallen for you."

"What?! You said t-that when you broke up with Kagami that you had another girl in mind that wasn't me."

"True. Though that girl is if you don't return my feelings back."

"I-I..."

"I'm not that patient, but for you I am, but I have my limits. If you say no, you are only lying to yourself because of your hungry eyes. You can tell me if you do or not, but at one moment I'll be having to move on to get you jealous again in junior year. It's all up to you."

"I...I..."

"Tell me when you can. Anyways, see yah." He walked away from her, leaving her confused.

DO I LOVE HIM? I DON'T KNOW! THIS IS ALL SO CONFUSING!

She had mixed emotions towards him since they really changed personalities as humans. Yet she still didn't know what she wanted. She liked Hao and Adrien, it was like the whole Luka incident too. Tomorrow was Tuesday and there had to be tons of training because after it was the big game.

Don't get distracted, don't get distracted...

Only then she started pounding her fist on the wall in a mix of confusion and anger. "Oi." She turned to see that it was Luka.

"LUKA?!" She yelled. "W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

"No need to raise your voice." He smiled.

"You weird child."

"Let me guess...you're in a bad mood."

"NO I AM NOT!" She paused realizing what she just did. "Sorry..."

"You're cute when you get mad."

"I'm not dating you."

"I know, I know and I am sorry. Remember like last year when I said all that crap to you, you know? Well, I was a little drunk."

"What about Kagami?"

"Oh, her...we did it, but she shoved me away so...yeah. I heard you and Adrien aren't together anymore."

"Yeah, but he just confessed again to me, but I don't know what to say..."

"Why? Is it another guy?"

She froze. Maybe Luka was right, maybe it was Hao who was keeping her from being with Adrien, but she really wasn't sure. "I can't tell anymore."

"Tough I can tell."

"You have any other girl you are after?"

"No, just chilling now. I sort of hang here now a little, mostly because of my sister."

"Anyways, I have to head out now."

"Okay then, bye." He watched her leave. "Oh also, you have changed a lot and so has Agreste."

"Yeah, I noticed. See yah."

"Bye."

Wednesday came faster than ever and the game was finally here. Yet the she was still thinking about the confession. She was standing on the side watching the two sophomore classes get into position. The game started and it was intense all the way. It hit twenty seconds with a score of:

B7: 67 C7: 69

Everyone was cheering hard and the two team captains became more competitive. Marinette could see that they were slowly giving in and she didn't want them to give up. Mostly because she cared for them. She put on Hao's jersey, knowing the effect it would place on Adrien and Hao. "COME ON GUYS!"

It hit ten seconds and the team captains' eyes caught sight of the jersey. Hao smiled with pride, making him work harder. Adrien smiled at it, feeling nothing but jealousy. He wanted to her over, he was going to beat him. They played harder to where they both overpowered themselves in resulting to no one scoring.

I hate it how when you get stronger, the other team gets stronger just like you. Both captains thought. In the end class C7 won, once again. Adrien stood there looking at the score while he clenched his fist. He trudged into the locker room with no reaction only leaving Marinette watch him. She followed him in see that he was sitting on the bench looking down. Slowly, she took off the jersey placing it down on the bench.

"Adrien. It's fine don't worry. You will do better next time, you tried and I saw it in your eye." She stood next to him.

"It's just a disappointment that I can barely never win. It feels like when my team gets stronger the other teams does too. Do you like Hao?" He looked up at her.

"W-what? I can't answer that because I really don't know." Only then her eye caught sight of a cut on his eyebrow that was leaking blood. She sat down next to him grabbing a rag besides her that was wet. She dabbed it on his eyebrow trying to stop the bleeding.

"I'm happy that you are manager of the sophomore basketball team. I'm happier that you are giving me attention even though I am not in your class."

"It's the least I can do."

"You have to tell me if you cannot accept my feelings back in return because my love only grows stronger for you. I'm not rushing you, but...I am just confessing again."

She pushed his hair out of his eyes looking at them. "I'm still thinking."

"Can I mark you?"

She didn't know what he meant until he used all his force to pin her down on the bench. He was on top of her. "WHAT THE HECK?!"

Before she knew it, he pressed his lips on her neck. She closed her eyes, sweating struggling to get away. He pulled away with a satisfied look on his face. "You taste salty."

"NO, NO, NO! YOU CHEEKY BRAT!"

"I love it when you call me that."

Stupid idiot.
