Widow Seventeen is cursed.
Horrible name.
Horrible luck.
Horrible decisions.

Zahra Aurora Jenkins never felt free. She never got to experience a normal childhood. She did. But it was all fake. But to her she wanted it to be real. Being taken away from her family at the age of seven into a world that brought her up to become a emotionless sinfulness human being.

She was the type of girl your parents told you not to mess around with from her "rebellious streak" but in the inside she is broken and shattered. She doesn't want to feel like this anymore she wants to be able to smile genuinely and laugh enjoyably without any fake ness. Scars dance across her skin from battles, scars of the surviving journey she has witnessed, scars of a broken young girl who just wanted to be free.

She never thought in her whole life that she could be free but within that mindset she buries this feeling of freedom into an on-going nightmare that she doesn't know what is real or not from the waking up at night to the horrific terrors.

She claims that only the other black widows would understand her feelings and wanting to be set free - how wrong she is.

That is until she meets someone that isn't that all different than her, than she cares to admit.

Zahra's life revolves around pain and tragedy but that won't stop her on what she wants dearly.

Freedom.
