My ears ring loudly, my hands numb as they spread flat upon the crumbled surface. I felt a wet substance run down the top of my cheek to the bottom, my eyes shut tightly. I've tried for god knows how long to try to pry my eyes open but to no use it can't get past the force of the dark.
I can feel the electricity flaring in the air, a thought occurred to me but I don't think it would work. In my unconscious state I tried to calm myself down, my breathing shallow as I felt my finger tips prick up into a small current but it stops suddenly.
I try again, trying to clear my head into a head space where I can focus. My mind clouded with a unknown memory, zooming me out of reality.
"You can do it, Little one" I hear a voice call from behind me. I turn my head slightly to see a blurred man looking down at me with his hands on mine as he helps this young version of me on my bike.
"I'm scared, daddy" Young Zahra said sadly looking down, her small heart pounding in her chest as her eyes glaze with tears.
"Hey hey no crying, princess. No need to be scared, I'm here. I got you" He assured squeezing my hand reassuring younger me.
"M'kay" She mumbled, trying to turn her face into a happy expression but it's more like a grimace.
"Alright, we're gonna go slow. Okay?" Father whom I assumed said. I nodded my head in understanding. I felt myself move along with the bike, my hands gripping tightly upon the handle bars.
"There you go" Father beamed from behind.
My small legs pumped a little bit faster as I strolled along into a continuous rhythm as father guided me, down our private pathway. A cheered laugh expression from my mouth as I continued onwards down the path.
Within my happy state I felt my father slowly unleash his hands on mine, my eyes widen while shaking my head. "Daddy hold my hands again"
"You got it princess, look at you doing it yourself" He yelled slightly further behind me as I moved away from him. My breathing settles down a bit, my eyes filled with concentration as I hear clapping from behind and the chat from supposed older twin brother and mother sitting down at the patio area.
When I got near the front gates I hopped down from the bike, I spin around on my heel pumping my hands up in the air right when I felt arms engulf me lifting me up into the air.
I squeal loudly, a bubbled laugh coming from my chest. Father twirls me around into a circle with a proud smile plastered on his face. "That's my girl" He smiles.
"I did it!"
"You did and all you had to do was focus on your surroundings. It wasn't your mind that was controlling you, it was yourself forcing yourself to push forward. Breath Zahra, think of what you wanted to do and do it! Seventeen! Wake up! Oh my god, Sev come on wake up" i heard my once supposed fathers voice morph into a familiar tone that I've heard a thousand times before in the last couple months.
My hands spark to life as I felt the rooms electricity move towards my fingertips, like a magnet connecting to the metal. I felt the near form of energy surge, heal me from the inside as my eyes snap open. Jolting me awake as I suddenly whack my head against someone's chest, I grunt out a low hiss before pulling away.
