23. Fall of the Avengers

W I D O W S E V E N T E E N

In an instant after Tony punched Steve, he launched himself on to Bucky as Bucky tries to fight back but he seemed to have no change against Tony as rage is blinding him which making him hit harder than usual. Tony grips Bucky's shirt tightly with his iron hand as he  tackles Bucky to the ground with a thud. Tony's hand raises in an action that he was going to blast at my Bucky.

Something like anger builds up inside of me when I saw Bucky's eyes widen but another inflictment startled me as I don't want to attack Tony, he's like a father figure to me more so than my real father. I narrow my eyes on the scene with a startled argument going off in my head but Steve answers it for me as his shield comes souring through the air as it hit Tony in his back causing him to stand up to attack him.

As the two fought, I ran over towards Bucky as I helped him up. His hand cups my cheek, "Get out of here, this is my fight."

I shook my head, "I'm not leaving you, James! He'll kill you." I shouted at him.

"Please Dawn, I don't want you to be in the middle between me and Tony, I know you care for him like a father." Bucky admitted as I pursue my lips with a narrowed look.

Before I could say anything else Tony gripped Bucky and flew him again as he picked him up into the air as they started fighting. I watch with wide eyes as Bucky gripped Tony's hand tightly as he broke up a racket that was supposed to hit Bucky but it aimed towards a wall to the side with a clang.

The impact on the wall was so bad that the walls of the base started to damage the interior of the base as the place starts to stumble. The falling metal was so heavy that it luckily dodged the two males fighting each other, creating a barrier between the two. Me and Steve look at each other a nod before Steve runs towards Bucky as I stand in front of Tony who was slowly getting up with a grunt.

"Get outta here!" Steve screamed at Bucky.

"Not without Dawn!" Bucky yells back through the chaotic stumbling of the base crashing to the ground.

"Go, Bucky! I'll catch up." I called to him, my head turning over my shoulder briefly before staying on Tony's figure.

"Come back to me!" Bucky yells in reply.

"Always." I shouted before I hear him run off towards the railing to climb to the top entrance.

"I'm not gonna fight you Sev." Tony muttered through his iron mask as he stands tall.

"I don't want to either Tony but you laid a hand on my James, so if you do that again you'll see a side of me you don't want to see." I admitted to him, telling him that me and Bucky have feelings for each other.

Tony's eyes harden a bit, "You and him?" Tony asked with a scoff.

I nodded, "Yes, I love him." I said honestly.

"You can't fall in love a killer, Seventeen!"

I scoffed, "We're all killers Tony and besides whose gonna stop me?" I sneered with a glare on my face.

"I can, you can't love someone if you barely know him." Tony said.

"I know him enough. He's been there every single second since we first met, he's never lost touch with me."
