i tangle my fingers in his hair, i start messing with his hair.

i wake up the next morning to the bedroom door opening and shutting, chases grip tightens around my waist. i yawn and open my eyes, i see alec and caden standing at the side of the bed. i slap chases side and he opens his eyes, he yawns and looks at the boys. he pulls the blankets over us more.
addison: good morning you guys.
alec: good morning mom. hi dad.
chase: hi. what are you guys doing up so early?
caden: early? you're clock says twelve p.m.
chase immediately sits up pushing me off of him, i quickly pull the blankets over me more.
chase: shit. you guys i'm sorry. what do you want to eat?
caden: we already ate.
chase: what?
alec: uncle colby and uncle jake are downstairs. they came over this morning like at eight.
chase lays back down and sighs.
chase: okay, we'll go back downstairs and tell them we're awake. we'll meet you down there.
caden: why can't you come now?
chase: because mommy doesn't feel good. she needs a few minutes to feel better.
alec: okay.
they walk out of our room shutting the door behind them, i sit up.
addison: does that make us bad parents?
chase: no addison. i'm sure it's happened to other people too babe.
i look at chase, he looks back at me. he sits up, he kisses me and i kiss back. he grabs my waist and pulls me on top of him, i wrap my arms around his neck. his grip gets tighter, i pull away a few seconds later.
addison: cmon. we have to go.
chase: addi. pleaseeee? just a quickie?
addison: no we don't have time. you said a few minutes not ten or fifteen.
chase sighs again and pulls away, he pecks my lips and lets go of my waist. i move my arms from around his neck and get off of him, we get off of the bed and get changed into clothes. we walk out of the bedroom and walk downstairs.
jake: well look who's up.
i roll my eyes and let out a small laugh, i feel a pair of eyes on me. i look over and see colby standing in the kitchen staring at me with anger in his eyes, i graze my hand against chases hand. i walk into the kitchen over to colby.
addison: what?
colby: really addison?
addison: i know, i'm sorry. i didn't plan on not waking up earlier. it was an accident-
colby: that's not what i'm talking about. how stupid are you? like really?
addison: colby-
colby: no. don't "colby" me. does chase know-
chase: does chase know what?
i turn my head and see chase walk into the kitchen.
colby: jake-
jake: yup i'm listening. their shoes are on now.
colby: jake is taking them to the park and lunch while we talk.
caden: love you guys.
chase: love you guys too.
jake walks pass us with the boys following him, they open and shut the front door behind them.
colby: you said you told him-
addison: colby please-
colby: it doesn't sound like chase knows with the reaction he is having.
chase: what is going on?
colby: i called you this morning like four times and you didn't answer so we drove over here and waited until the boys woke up and we made them breakfast and a couple of minutes ago they came down from waking you up and said that you guys were up all night saying each others names and then they said that you needed a minute before you guys came down because you didn't feel good. you're not pregnant are you?
chase: what-
colby: it's obvious what you guys did and you better be safe.
chase: uhm i don't see why it's your business on that topic. we can do whatever we want and we can try for another baby whenever we want-
colby: you guys are trying for another baby?!
chase: yeah and why does it fuckin matter! why are you yelling at us?!
colby: addison you have thirty seconds to open your mouth and tell him before i do!
chase: tell me what?! addison what is going on?!
i go to open my mouth but choke on my words, tears gather in my eyes.
colby: she can't have any more kids! it put too much stress on her body when she was pregnant with caden and the amount of stress caused permanent damage that could possibly kill her if she got pregnant again!
chase: you wanted to try for another baby knowing there's a possibility it could kill you?!
addison: chase please-
chase: no! how could you do this to me?!
addison: how could i do this to y-you?
i turn my head and look at colby.
addison: i fucking hate you colby.
colby: no you don't. you're just mad-
addison: yes i do and i hate you too chase.
i walk out of the kitchen and up the stairs, i walk into mine and chases bedroom shutting and locking the door behind me. i sit down on the bed and pull my knees up to my chest, i lay my head on my knees. i hear the front door shut and footsteps coming up the stairs, the bedroom door handle starts to jiggle.
chase: addi, unlock the door.
a couple of seconds go by, i hear chase sigh. the door handle starts rattling and chase walks in a second later, he sets a key on top of the door frame. i lay down and turn around so my back is facing him, he gets in bed next to me. he wraps his arms around my waist, i grab his wrists and push his arms and hands away from me.
