Chase sets the box of chocolates down on my nightstand, he sits at the side of my bed and turns his head so he's facing me.

I take my head off of my knees and put my legs down, I look down at my hands and start fiddling with my fingers.
Chase: Why are you nervous?
Addison: I'm not.
Chase: *Laughs* Yeah you are. Anthony told me that when you get nervous you start fiddling with your fingers.
Addison: I'm gonna kill him. *laughs*
Chase: *Laughs* Here. These are for you.
I look up and Chase hands me the flowers, he smiles at me and I smile back at him. I grab the flowers.
Addison: Thank you.
Chase: You're welcome. You can also set the flowers down. I don't expect you to keep holding them. *laughs*
I let out a small laugh and set the flowers beside me on my bed, Chase starts leaning closer to me. I start to get butterflies in my stomach and my cheeks turn red once again, his lips finally touch mine and he kisses me. I kiss him back, I smile in the middle of the kiss along with Chase. He grabs my waist and moves me closer to him, he lifts me up and sets me on his lap so I'm straddling him again. I wrap my arms around his neck.
Addison: I thought you wanted to take it slow?
Chase: I did but I didn't want to wait anymore.
Addison: Wait for what?
Chase: After you left I realized something.
Addison: What?
Chase: Grab the box of chocolates and open it.
I pull my face away from Chase's and grab the box of chocolates off of my nightstand, I take the lid off and set it on my bed. I see a notecard flipped upside down, I grab it and flip it over and see "will you be my girlfriend?<3" written on it. I look up at Chase and smile widely, I put the box of chocolates and notecard on my bed. I kiss Chase and he kisses me back.
Chase: *Laughs* I take that as a yes?
I nod my head and laugh, he goes to kiss me again when my door opens. I quickly get off Chase and see Anthony.
Addison: Oh my god you gave me a heartache. I thought you were Colby.
Anthony: *Laughs* Oh. Well I just wanted to let you know that I'm leaving now.
Addison: Okay. Bye Ant.
Anthony: Bye.
He walks out of my room again shutting the door behind him.
Addison: How did you know where I live and how did you get here? *laughs*
Chase: *Laughs* Anthony texted me on Instagram and I asked him where you lived so I could come talk to you and my mom and dad rented a car for the time that we were gonna be here and they let me use it to come over.
Addison: *Laughs* I knew he was behind this somehow.
Chase laughs and stands up, he grabs my hand and pulls me into his chest. He hugs me and I hug him back.
Chase: Do you want to maybe spend the night at the hotel tonight?
Addison: Yeah. I'll just tell Colby that I'm staying with Anthony tonight.
Chase: Okay.
Chase kisses the top of my head, we pull away from the hug. I grab the box of chocolates and put the notecard back in it and put the lid on, I set the chocolates on my nightstand. I walk over to my bathroom and grab a small glass vase out from under the sink, I put water in it and set it on my desk. I put the flowers in the vase, I walk over to my closet and grab a bag out of it. I gather up a change of clothes, a hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste and a few other things, I put my stuff in my bag. I throw the bag on my back, I grab my phone and text Colby.
🤙addi🤙: hey I'm staying at Anthony's tonight.
🥱colby🥱: okay.
I put my phone in my hoodie pocket.
Chase: Are you ready?
Addison: Yeah.
I smile at Chase and he smiles back at me, he grabs my hand and we lock fingers again. We walk out of my room shutting the door and light off behind us, we walk downstairs and to the front door. Chase opens the front door and we walk outside, he shuts the door behind us and we walk to his rental car. He unlocks it and we get get in, he starts the car and we buckle in. He starts driving back to the hotel.
Addison: Chase?
Chase: Mhm?
Addison: I'm sorry for earlier.
He stops at a red light and turns his head and looks at me.
Chase: *Laughs* Addi it's okay. Does it look like I'm upset about it?
Addison: No but I-
Chase: It's okay. I promise. Okay?
Addison: Okay.
He reaches over and grabs my hand, I smile at him and he smiles back at me. He starts driving again, we get to the hotel 20 minutes later. He parks the car and shuts it off, we get out and start walking to the entrance of the hotel. 5 minutes go by and we're back in his hotel room, he walks out of of the bathroom with a note in his hand.
Chase: Hey we get the room to ourselves tonight. My dad went to my mom and sisters' room to sleep there tonight.
Addison: Okay. Is that what that note says?
Chase: Yeah.
Chase throws the paper away and takes his shoes off along with me, I grab my bag and walk into the bathroom. I get changed into my pajamas, I walk out of the bathroom and set my bag down by Chase's suitcase. I crawl into the bed and lay down by Chase, I lay my head on his chest. He wraps his arm around my waist and starts going through the tv channels until he finds something for us to watch, he sets the remote down a couple of minutes later. We fall asleep a couple hours later.
