The story talks about a young boy known as Cloud who aspired to become the greatest pilgrim warrior in Agaroth (the first warrior realm of mankind) despite his flaws, however there is more that meets the eyes as Agaroth is on the brink of extinction...
Within the bounds of the Stormwind, many of the villagers along with Roku had gathered in a forest to witness the naming ceremony of Gorg and Marida's baby. As Gorg was holding the baby with Marida beside him, an old man dressed in a blue robe and a white tunic, stood in front of the two and cleared his throat. "We have gathered here today to witness a new life named in the howling of the wind." The old man said, "In the Stormwind saying 'What is broken can be repaired and what is destroyed can be rise and become anew'. The cycle of life is like the arrival of a storm for it can not be stopped." As the old man was giving his speech, a blonde dreadlocked man, dressed in a multicolored coat, white top and black trousers was picking his nose with his index finger and just as he was about to put that finger into his mouth, he was smacked at the back of his head by a long black haired woman in a navy green robe who at that moment was frowning at him. "Great sage Roku. It is an honor to have you here." The old man in blue robe said as he bowed himself. "Now we all know that in the Stormwind tradition, it is the duty of the father to name the child while the mother gives out her opinions on the name." The old man said as he glanced at Gorg and Marida, "So tell us, Gorg, what is the name of this beautiful white haired child." "Oh… Yeah. Uh… Marida, would you be kind enough to hold our child?" Gorg asked as he gave Marida the baby to hold. "I brought a list of names i was planning to give him, so just wait a second." Gorg said as he was searching himself, "Now where did i drop this list? I could have sworn i brought it with me." "You can't be serious." Nostra said within himself with a blank face. "You know what, let's forget about the list, don't you think, Marida?" Gorg asked while smiling nervously. "Sure… Whatever you say." Marida said with a sarcastic look, "So what are you going to name him?" "Uhm… Even though i forgot the list, i still remember some of what i wrote." Gorg said while rubbing his finger on his chin, "So, i have decided to name him 'Eithuzha'." "Huh?" The old man said with a confused face. "Gorg, we are not naming him that." Marida said. "What? The name actually fi-" "Eithuzha means the dead storm and our child isn't dead." Marida cuts in. "Well okay, i knew it was a dumb name anyway, so uh… What about 'Imilek'?" Gorg asked. "Imilek means the mighty destroyer and considering what happened with our child, i am not going to accept it." Marida said with a slight frown. "Ok, what about Ashkojaj?" Gorg asked. "No." Marida answered. "Masenku?" Gorg asked. "No!" Marida answered. "Sheeneh?" Gorg asked. "No!!" Marida replied with a full scowl. "Aeku?" Gorg asked. "Aeku in the Stormwind tongue means stick! Does our child look like a stick to you?!" Marida asked. "Well, considering how skinny he looks-" "Gorg!" Marida called. "Ok, what about Spirit?" Gorg asked. "Gorg, our child is not a spirit!" Marida replied. "Well, his white hair-" "Gorg!" Marida called. "This is embarrassing." A black haired man with big beard who happened to have an X shaped scar on his face said. "I agree with you, Chief Mahjara." A black haired ponytail man beside Chief Mahjara said, "Even though Gorg is one of the best hunters we have in the Stormwind, seeing him like this is just terrible." "I don't like him." A bald bearded man with numerous scars on his head said while chewing groundnuts. "You don't seem to like anyone, Kondu." The ponytail man said, "I don't understand how because you don't like someone, you would make an attempt to take the person's life at night. You really are the 'Mad hound of the storm'. You're lucky i am not Chief, if not, i would have exiled you regardless of how useful you are." "I don't like you." Kondu said as he glanced at the ponytail man while still chewing his groundnuts, prompting the ponytail man to glance at him with a slightly frightened face. Meanwhile as Gorg and Marida were still arguing, Gorg let's out a moan of frustration while covering his face with both hands. "Marida, you are not helping matters, here!" Gorg said. "Well, i would be if you give him a good name!" Marida replied with a scowl. "I'm out of names! Just pick one!" Gorg said while scowling. "I'm not picking any!" Marida replied. "Alright then, why don't you name him?!" Gorg said. "It's not my duty to name him!" Marida replied. "Guuh! You're so-!" Gorg paused for a while and stared at the baby and from there, he quickly lifts his head to gaze the clouds in the sky. "Cloud." Gorg said with a smile. "Huh?" Marida in puzzlement. "Cloud. That should be his name. His name is Cloud." Gorg said. "How about a no." Marida said, "I'm not going to name my child-" "If i may, i think that is a reasonable name for the moment." The old man interrupted, "We Stormwinds have most of our names gotten from the weathers and seasons in our native tongue. For example: Gorg means the unyielding storm and your name, Marida means the cunning spring. It won't hurt to use the common tongue to name your child, right? I mean, clouds are quite useful for detection in the Stormwind tribe. If there is a great incoming danger, the clouds becomes pitch black. If we are going to have a good or bad season, we will be able to tell just by looking at the clouds. So, i think Cloud is ok." "This is all i have left. Take it or leave it." Gorg said as he turned his face away while having both arms crossed. For a moment, Marida stared at Gorg and sighed. "I've been married to you for how long, i should have understood by now there is no winning when it comes to things like this." Marida said, "But in order for this ceremony to end and allow others to go home…" "Cloud, it is." Marida said with a smile. "So be it." The old man said as he took baby Cloud from the arms of Marida and lifts him up, "Praises everyone. For another new life has been brought into this world; a hunter who shall walk into the storm and make his own destiny in it and his name is Cloud." "The storm's arrival can never be stopped." Gorg said. "The storm's arrival can never be stopped." The Stormwind people in the ceremony unanimously said. "Paths can always be changed." Marida said. "Paths can always be changed." The Stormwind people in the ceremony unanimously said, again. Gorg and Marida locks eyes and smiled and as this happened, Roku was gazing at baby Cloud and smiled as well. "Cloud of the Stormwind, i look forward to seeing what you will become in future." Roku said within. As the ceremony was still going on, Asnath was watching from his orb and grins evilly. "After countless millenniums, i will finally witness your arrival… Kiorra." Elsewhere in a desert, current Cloud was wondering about in confusion. "Where am i, exactly?" Cloud asked inwardly, "Why…. Why do i feel like i have been here before?" As Cloud was questioning himself, Cloud had a quick flashback of himself in this desert (Chapter 5) which gave him a slight headache. "Wait… What?" Cloud asked inwardly, "I had a dream of this? But… Why i am i remembering it now? Wait a minute." Cloud looks to his side and sights an army of shadows with glowing blue eyes from afar which made him have another recollection of such in his dream and step back a bit. "You people… I have seen you before." Cloud said, "Who are you?" "Oh my. Do you not recognize them?" An ominous voice asked, which made Cloud look around to see who spoke but found no one. "Who… Who are you?" Cloud asked. The wind suddenly became wild as an omega sign appeared on the sky. The skies began to crack while the ground shook violently which left Cloud trembling. The skies instantly shatters and the entire environment became dark and was filled with a tempest; suddenly, the head with a cloudy grey man like wolf with glowing eyes and an omega sign on it's forehead, whose fangs had reached it's jawline arose and was staring down at Cloud (who happened to be standing in the palm of the beast). "I have been waiting for so long to meet you, my true other half." The beast said. "Other... Half?" Cloud asked softly while gazing at the beast with widened eyes. "Yes. Other half." The beast replied, "My name is Kiorra and our destiny as the Ruler of the end has just begun." After introducing himself to Cloud, Kiorra let's out a slight evil grin.
