An air eruption occured in the desolate, filling the area with dust-clouds. As the dust-clouds cleared, Jagami was seen soaring backwards until she rolled violently on the ground.
Jagami groaned in pain but as soon as she opened her eyes, she caught sight of Xorian descending towards her with his dark aura covered fist to crush her skull. Out of quick reaction, Jagami vanished from the spot she laid and appeared behind Xorian from a further distance.Xorian, however showed up in her front and punched her across the face.
Jagami staggered back but was quick enough to catch Xorian's punch with one hand; Xorian swiftly used his other hand to punch her but Jagami caught it as well.
"Xorian, please stop! If you are in there, break out of his hold! Please!!" Jagami pleaded.
Xorian instead responded with a headbutt and followed up with a kick to the side of Jagami's neck that sent her tumbling across the ground. Xorian rushed towards Jagami but she quickly steadied herself and took a defensive stance.
"Hoakan temple: wailing walls!" Jagami said within as she fashionably rotated her aura infused fist hands, creating several afterimages of her hands in the process.
Jagami flawlessly parried Xorian's barrage of punches but despite her efforts, Xorian's fist still managed to connect to her face, allowing him to unleash a vicious combo of strikes on her. While this happened, the female hiveling smirked.
"Look at that brat. Finally getting what she deserves." The female hiveling said, "And the whole 'If you are in there, break out of his hold.' If he didn't break out before, how can he break out now?
So pathetic."
"Silence." The silver haired hiveling said to the female hiveling in a cold tone.
The female hiveling glanced at the silver haired hiveling while he was still watching the clash between Jagami and Xorian.
"Everything that has happened now is your fault." The silver haired hiveling said to her, "Giving in to her words, her increase in power and the hostages leaving. Because of you, i had to make adjustments after adjustments after adjustments."
"You are a hindrance." The silver haired hiveling said as he glanced at her with a chilling glare, "And i am starting to feel i should never have brought you back."
"Brother..." The female hiveling said softly.
"He is not wrong." The hiveling with the blue buzz cut hair said to the female hiveling, "The entire plan has gone to waste and it is all because of you. And not only did you ruin the plan, you were also humiliated by that child and yet you still have the galls to speak."
"I'm sorry. I... She just wouldn't stop talking." The female hiveling said, "How do you expect me to ignore her words? She belittled me and tested my patience."
The silver haired hiveling however didn't answer but instead continued watching Jagami defending against Xorian's attacks. Xorian kicked Jagami in the belly but she endured the pain and held his ankle with both hands.
"Xorian... Stop..." Jagami said.
Xorian stared at her for a while and quickly used his other leg to kick her across her face which sent her tumbling on the ground.
Jagami steadied herself and quickly sidestepped Xorian's punch. Jagami evaded all of Xorian's attacks while stepping backwards; in the process of trying to hit Jagami, Xorian fell on one knee and coughed out blood repeatedly, furtherly increasing Jagami's horror. Xorian exuded a fierce dark aura and in an instant, he showed up in Jagami's front and punched her across her face.
At the moment Jagami was attacked, she spoke in her heart.
"What do i do? If i don't do something, he will die. His body is severely damaged and yet they are pushing him to continue fighting.
What can i do...? Xorian... Please..."
