The chiefs silently stared at Zotek, some with unbelief and others with rage. Schroeder on the other hand was still wondering how and why he is in the hall with Zotek and the chiefs.
"Can anybody please explain to me why i am here? Why am i... Wait... Are those the chiefs?" Schroeder asked, "Why am i in the presence of the chiefs? Did i do anything wrong? Did I-?"
Chief Miza's irises glowed and a small amount of sleeping dust entered into Schroeder's nose, causing him to gently lose consciousness and sink to the ground. Silence stayed in the hall for a time until chief Tenya spoke.
"Why?" Chief Tenya asked Zotek, "Why did you do it? What was your purpose behind all this?"
"I wanted information." Zotek answered.
"Information? What kind of information did you want that was more important than the lives and safety of others?" Chief Tenya asked.
"Information on the boy... Cloud of the Stormwind." Zotek answered.
Hearing his answer, chief Tenya grits her teeth while her irises glowed.
"For a long time i have been suspecting him. When he first arrived in the academy, i had no business with him but as the days went by, i grew suspicious." Zotek said, "How was he able to survive the dangerous tasks and trainings? How was he able survive after getting into a fight with others with kan? I started to suspect he had kan but i wasn't sure because it made no sense but with what was playing in my sight...
At at certain point i felt the Stormwinds had something to do with Jahax the devourer until i met him."
"Who?" Chief Akuro asked.
"A man. He looked human but his energy... His presence said otherwise." Zotek said, "His kan pressure was immense. It was on a level far above mortals."
The words of Zotek made several chiefs glance at chief Tenya.
"Whatever he was, he said i was the only mortal capable of seeing him."Zotek said, "Though he refused to reveal who he was, he said something strange about Cloud. He called him the ruler of the end."
"The ruler of the end?" Chief Grai asked within.
"And because of that, my suspicions of Cloud grew higher. I was beginning to think Cloud was aware of this but he chose to live in denial instead." Zotek said, "I wanted to use this tournament to expose the secrets he was hiding.
When i learnt of the hiveling infiltration, i knew it was going to interfere with my plans, so i did what i could to contain it, to stall long until the time for Cloud had passed. I also placed Schroeder under my control because i knew if he relayed the information then the tournament and my chance of learning the truth about Cloud and what he is hiding will be gone and i could not have that.
But... After my encounter with Arxion the traitor-"
"Arxion? You mean Arxion of the Kenar tribe? My tribe?" Chief Akuro asked in disbelief, "He is a traitor?"
"Yes, he is." Zotek answered, "With the information i received from Arxion with my domains authority, what i saw was a plan far, far devasting than i could imagine. I then understood that Cloud's information was of little importance, so I made up my mind to reveal their plans before it could happen."
"But?" Chief Miza said.
"It appeared that the enemy aiding the hivelings was 10 steps ahead." Zotek said, "He attempted to take out my memories and my life with the aniza curse. I survived because of Leorona but she was unable to restore all my memories."
"At this point, what good will revealing their plans do when it has already happened?" The male chief with the messy red hair asked while scowling, "You sent so many people to their deaths because of your foolish and selfish intentions."
