Chapter 92: Earn It

   Ziron and Obaru stood and locked eyes with one another from afar, filling the atmosphere with immense silence and as this continued, the sound of an explosion resonated and Ziron's irises glowed but Obaru swiftly weaved an invisible attack that cut multiple trees behind him; wasting no time, Obaru ran towards Ziron with both arms raised and was moving in a zigzag motion while numerous trees behind Obaru were being cut in half.
   Obaru reached where Ziron stood and but before he could hurl his fist at him (Ziron), Ziron's irises glowed again and Obaru immediately leaps to the right and hops back a couple of times and as soon as he had done this, a quick but powerful breeze rushed on the spot Obaru leaped from and created a large rift  on the ground while Ziron glanced at where Obaru currently stood.
   "He dodged it?" Ziron asked inwardly.
   "No, not just that attack, he dodged them all." Ziron said within recalls Obaru moving in a zigzag motion.
   "To dodge a sharp wind that moves as fast as light… This oaf has really improved." Ziron said within after the recollection, "Only a few at the academy can dodge those; only a few can dodge them easily and only a few can dodge them too easily."
   Obaru raised both of his arms and dashed towards Ziron.
   "He is approaching me? This guy truly is an imbecile." Ziron said within.
   Ziron's irises glowed again, but Obaru vanished from his sight, leaving the trees behind to sink quickly into the ground; Obaru appeared behind Ziron but Ziron's eyes rolls back and an sudden eruption of a powerful wind took place and destroyed many trees. However, Ziron quickly raised his head and sights Obaru high in the air in a spinning motion.
   "Obaru style: Clapping canon!" Obaru said within.
   With thunderous clap, Obaru swiftly descended to the ground but Ziron immediately hops back, leaving Obaru descent to break the ground and fill the place with dust-clouds. Obaru sprints towards Ziron and hurls his fist at him but suddenly paused before it could connect. A swift breeze blew past Obaru which made him subconsciously step back while his eyes were pupilless; Obaru stepped 7 feet back and fell on his knees and was panting while Ziron gazed down at him.
    "Moron. Did you honestly believed you could strike me because you dodged a couple of weak attacks?" Ziron asked, "You may have improved but you still have a long way to go before you can even dream of reaching me.
   Bear in mind that i am just testing you and i am not even serious."
   "So we are both doing the same thing?" Obaru asked while facing the ground.
   "Hm?" Ziron said in confusion.
  "That moment i tried to punch you, i had no intentions of attacking." Obaru said, "I was just trying to see if my body can withstand what you were throwing at me."
   Ziron frowned at Obaru's words and Obaru immediately chuckled.
   "Now, i am sure it can." Obaru said as he lifts his head with a grin as glowing markings appeared on his forehead.
  Obaru quickly throws his fist at Ziron which created a strong shockwave that pushed him back but Ziron easily steadied himself and takes quick notice of smoke seeping out of his arm.
   "As i said before: i have taken defeats after defeats after defeats and humiliations after humiliations after humiliations." Obaru's voice sounded, prompting Ziron to lift his head.
   Ziron caught sight of Obaru walking down his direction with a smirk while his irises were glowing.
   "And with all those defeats and humiliations, i only grew stronger, and do you know why?" Obaru asked, "Because i am Obaru, and i am amazing."
   "That punch earlier… It was fast." Ziron said within as he recalls the incident of Obaru's punch.
   "No, it was faster… Far faster." Ziron said within after the recollection, "Should i continue to test this loud mouth or should i kill him off quickly? Its not that he is a threat to me, but it won't be wise for me to waste time on him when i have other humans to kill.
   I will just use a stronger attack to end this." 
  With a flick of his middle finger, Ziron sent a powerful wind pressure towards Obaru but Obaru stood unfazed while the trees were instantly shattered to a billion pieces; elsewhere in the grey-leafed forest as other humans and hivelings were still fighting, Ziron's wind pressure reached their vicinity and struck them which made their bodies pop like balloons.
    Meanwhile at the section Ziron and Obaru stood, Ziron's eyes widened as he was slightly in disbelief.
    "Hey, Ziron, didn't i tell you i am amazing?" Obaru asked while grinning with a raised eyebrow.
   "Shut up, you annoying, self-absorbed imbecile!" Ziron said as he released a blue blast from his palm towards Obaru.
   The attack created an explosion and covered the area with smoke but as soon as it cleared, Obaru still stood unfazed by the attack.
   "My turn." Obaru said.
 Obaru dashed towards Ziron and throws a punch but Ziron hops back to evade the attack and  quickly attacks with another blue blast from his palm, only for Obaru to easily deflect the attack and charge towards his direction to land a strong punch that threw Ziron back despite him guarding against it.
  Ziron immediately steadied himself but Obaru appeared above him from behind and attacks with a double hammer fist but Ziron leaps away, leaving Obaru to create a big fracture on the ground.
   "Great push!" Ziron said within as he stretched out his hand with his irises glowing.
   The attack blew away the ground he leaped from and carried countless trees along, killing other hivelings and humans in the act, but nevertheless, Obaru's fist still connected to Ziron's face and sent him rolling backwards, and as soon as Ziron steadied himself, Ziron lifts his head in shock.
   "Huh?" Ziron said within.
   Obaru stood a bit from far from Ziron while looking unfazed by the attack and shortly after that, Obaru ran towards Ziron again. Ziron growls and sends a big blue crescent attack towards Obaru with a swipe of his arm but Obaru deflects it easily while running towards Ziron and swung his fist but Ziron counters by engulfing his palm with his aura and slamming it against Obaru's fist which resulted to an explosion that threw Ziron back.
   Ziron stabilized himself and sent another blue crescent attack towards Obaru but Obaru easily destroyed it with a punch; Ziron began to relentlessly release a series of blue crescent attacks but Obaru was destroying them all with his punches.
   "Zota: Kaiyuzima!" Ziron said as he swung his arms down and sent forth two humongous crescent blue attacks towards Obaru that multiplied into a crescent myriad.
   However, with a single punch, Obaru released a strong wind pressure that destroyed the myriad. 
   Ziron began to move his arms in a fashionable manner while having a blue outline round his body and as this happened, blue crescent auras were rotating round his arms while his irises glowed.
     "Zota: Kaiyuzima Stage 3." Ziron said, "Let us begin."  
   With each swipe of his arm, Ziron was sending a series of four blue humongous crescent attacks towards Obaru, but Obaru was destroying them all by releasing wind pressure attacks with his punches. As the two continued, Ziron swung his arms mightily and sent forth 12 humongous crescent blue attack that rushed towards Obaru's direction, but with a strong bawl, Obaru covered his fist with his aura and destroyed the attack with a single punch.
   As soon as the crescent attack dispersed, the wind blew across the section they stood while Ziron's stared with goggled eyes.
  "H-how?" Ziron asked.
   "Didn't i tell you?" Obaru asked with a smug grin, "I'm Obaru and I'm amazing."
   "What the heck is going on?" Ziron asked inwardly, "Since when did he become such a beast?"
  "Is this the same stupid loud mouth from before?" Ziron asked within as Obaru smirked smugly with a raised eyebrow, "No, i refuse to believe it. I may not be fighting him at full power, but i never imagined him to last this long."
   "Hey, what's wrong? Did you lose your confidence or are you starting to believe the hype?" Obaru asked while still smirking smugly.
 "So annoying." Ziron said inwardly with scowl, "To think his kan ability of fortress would become a thorn is infuriating; i am aware that his kan ability creates glowing metals in form of markings round his body for protection and for the enhancement of his physical capabilities, but i-"
  Ziron paused as Obaru showed up in his front with his fist set to attack.
   "Less staring, more punching!!" Obaru said.
  "This is for our friends!" Obaru said as he punched Ziron across the cheek.
   "This is for our comrades you killed!" Obaru said as he lands a gut punch on Ziron that raised him a bit.
  "For not acknowledging me!" Obaru said as he released a barrage of punches on Ziron's face and finalize it with a headbutt.
   "And this…!" Obaru said as he took a stance at the moment he placed his right palm on his aura-covered left fist.
  "Is for Enida." Obaru said with a deepened voice as his irises glowed.
   "Obaru style: Zero punch!!!" Obaru said as he hurls his fist at Ziron.
    Obaru lands a thunderous punch on Ziron's face that threw him back and turned his eyes pupilless; the attack immediately created a strong golden shockwave that devastated the surroundings and minutes later, Ziron emerged from the rubble and stood on his feet while his face was covered in blood.
  "Ziron!!!" Obaru said as he descended from above and lands an elbow on the crown of Ziron's head that immediately turned his eyes pupilless again.
  Ziron's face was buried into the rubbles and Obaru began to release a ferocious series of punches at the back of Ziron's head.
   "How could you?!" Obaru asked while still unloading at the back of Ziron's head, "How could you kill our friends and our comrades like that?!! How could you kill Enida?!!!"
   "She was so close to you…!!" Obaru said as the he recalls the time Ziron and Enida were sitting next to each other while gazing at themselves in an awkward manner.
  "She stood for you when others didn't!!" Obaru said as he recalls the time Ziron sat unconscious on the ground with his back leaning against a tree as a couple of orcs stood in his front and in that very moment, a battered Enida moved in front of Ziron and glared at the orcs with her irises glowing.
   "I remember that time! Your teammates abandoned you and took the gem, believing that to fulfill the task was more important than the lives of their comrade, but Enida didn't!" Obaru said as his eyes glowed while still unloading at the back of Ziron's head, "Even though she was seriously injured, she still stood for you and gave it her all for you protection!! She even admitted you are one of the people she respects the most and yet, you gloat about killing her?! You would dare open that mouth of yours to talk about how she meant nothing to you?! Are you serious?! How dare you?!!"
   Obaru was instantly silenced with a strong gut punch from Ziron that made him cough out blood and Ziron quickly follows his attack with a mighty punch to the face of Obaru that sent him crashing through several trees, obstacles, humans and hivelings.
   "Hm? I'm bleeding?" Ziron asked within as he touched his head and takes notice of the blood on his palm.
   Ziron's irises immediately glowed as his eyes rolls at the direction he sent Obaru flying; elsewhere in a ruined section of the grey-leafed forest, Idjra stood on her feet and takes sights Obaru laying on the ground while being covered with debris on his chest.
   "Obaru?" Idjra said in confusion, "What the heck…?"
   Ziron swiftly drops from the sky to the ground (which created a small wave in the process) and glared at Obaru (who was still be laying on the ground).
  "Ziron?" Idjra said inwardly in puzzlement, "What-?"
   Idjra paused in her thoughts as she takes notice of Ziron's eyes, which furtherly increased her confusion.
   "His eyes… His scleras… Why are they like that?" Idjra asked within herself, "They are just like that horned being." 
  "Wait…" Idjra said inwardly as she recalls Sting's face, "He has the same eyes like him. What is going on?"
   Ziron glanced at Idjra which made her to instantly shiver with her irises glowing as she felt Ziron's pressure.
   "What in 4 hells is this kan?" Idjra asked within, "This is no normal kan. It feels like there are two energies dwelling inside him."
   At the time Idjra was speaking in her heart, she became slightly stunned as Obaru stood on his feet while panting for air.
   "You made me bleed. I think i should return the favor." Ziron said.
   Obaru sprints towards Ziron and flings his fist at him but it suddenly paused before it could connect to Ziron's face, leaving Obaru shocked.
   "Gale force: Sajhat Baiu." Ziron said.
   A small but strong wind pressure erupted which swiftly destroyed the glowing metals on Obaru's body and sent him rapidly flying back, filling the area with smokescreen. As soon as the smokescreen cleared, Idjra's eyes widened as she sights Obaru leaning on a tree with the skin of his forearm (the arm he used in attempt to punch Ziron) gone, leaving the bone exposed.
   "OBARU!!!" Idjra called as she attempted to head down his direction.
   "Light covering." Ziron said as he stretched forth his index finger and coats Idjra with his aura, therefore making her lay flat on the ground, and creating a crack on it in the process.
   Idjra was groaning while struggling in vain to move her body, and as she was doing this, Ziron walks past her.
    "Stay where you are. I'll deal with you later." Ziron said.
   "Ziron, why are you doing this?!" Idjra asked, "We are friends, aren't we?!"
  Ziron halts and glanced at Idjra, and in an instant the cracks on the ground increased, causing Idjra to scream out in pain.
  "Humph." Ziron said as he resumes walking towards Obaru.
  Ziron stood a bit far from Obaru and gazed at him as Obaru was seated on the ground with his back against a tree.
   "What's wrong? No longer amazing?" Ziron said, "How sad. It's not like you were amazing to begin with; you were just a buffoon whose own hype got into his head and felt because of the power growth he received, he could go against big opponents, forgetting at the end of the day, he is what he will always be: nothing but hype."
   "ZIRON, STOP IT!!" Idjra said.
   "You lasted this long because i let you." Ziron said to Obaru with his irises glowing, "Die with that knowledge in your thick skull."
  "Die? Who said anything about dying?" Obaru asked with a weak tone as he stood on his feet, "The only time i will die is on my own terms, because i'm Obaru and I'm amazing."
   Ziron slightly bent his head while scowling in annoyance and hastily raced towards Obaru and attacks with a straight kick to his midsection that sent him crashing through the tree and rolling backwards on the ground; at the time Obaru laid flat on his face and was making efforts to stand, Ziron walked a few steps towards his direction and coldly gazed down at him. 
   "You will die on your own terms? Get real." Ziron said, "It seems you still can't grasp your situation."
   "This is how you die and there is no terms that comes with it." Ziron said as he stretched forth his hand and created a glowing blue sphere on his palm, "Now get out of my sight."
    Obaru quickly held Ziron's wrist, thus leaving him a little surprised.
   "I said i will die on my own terms and this isn't it." Obaru said as his upper face was overshadowed while gazing at the ground.
   Obaru began to release a strong menacing golden aura which made Ziron slightly bend his head in puzzlement.
   "Hm?" Ziron said.
   "I am not going to die unless i say so, and if the keepers of the other side wants my soul… Then they will have to earn it." Obaru said as he raised his head with a determined demeanor while his irises glowed.
   "Is that so?" Ziron asked.
  Within a few minutes, the  screams of agony could be heard by different humans and hivelings within the bounds of the grey-leafed forest.
