While the higher ranked adult humans were still battling the forest wolves that invaded the city, and during the battle some of the adults laid dead on the ground, and an injured Ripar woman wrapped her arm round the neck of the chubby Graundar man (chapter 71 ) for support to stand while groaning in pain.
"Dammit...! These creatures keep coming!" The Ripar woman said.
"Rikon fought and defeated many of these creatures by himself and here we are struggling with them." The chubby Graundar man replied.
Right before a forest wolf could release a jade beam from its mouth towards the two, the attack was blocked by a large tree that sprouted out of the ground. The Graundar man and the Ripar female looked back and saw the person that saved them was Gorn's mother and beside her was Jagami's father Iminko
"Diamond art: Unholy walls!" Iminko said.
Numerous humongous diamonds spikes sprung out of the ground, creating a straight line while perforating the forest wolves. Red beams rained down from the sky and decimated the forest wolves, only for a large number of portals to open with forest wolves emerging out of it.
"There is no end to them." A Tenplar man said.
"Well, if there is no end then which means i can take out my frustrations endlessly." A Kenar man said with a malicious grin as he slammed his knuckle against his palm while his irises glowed.
Each forest wolf started charging a jade orb with their mouths but before they could fire them, all the wolves turned into dusts, leaving many of the adults surprised. Some of the adults glanced to see who annihilated the wolves while the Graundars smiled because they knew who it was.
"Many thanks for your aid, my chief." A Graundar man said with a smile.
Some of the adults stared in awe while Chief Miza of the Graundar tribe walked past them.
"I believe that's all?" Chief Miza asked.
"No more portals seems to be opening, my chief. I personally believe you destroyed the last of them." A Graundar woman answered.
"She turned them all into dust?" A Kenar woman asked within, "What we were struggling against, she destroyed like they were nothing."
"Such power, she truly is deserving of the chief's title." Another Kenar woman said within.
Chief Miza stared at the corpses of the adults that laid on the ground and spoke in her heart.
"We have lost a lot of people. Dead adults along with dead and missing children. What was supposed to be an event of seeing the strength of the younger generation and crowning them as pilgrims has turned into a catastrophe.
This is an event we will never forget and one we will never forgive."Chief Miza irises glowed as she raised her head in alarm and in an instant, seven portals appeared with seven forest wolves, ten times bigger than the forest wolves. The seven wolves howled and the ground quaked mightily to the point several cracks were created.
"Elder forest wolves?" A Kenar man asked within in shock.
"Seven of them?!" A redhead Ripar woman said within.
But right before any action could be taken, it started raining, however chief Miza and the other humans noted that the rain was only falling on the elder forest wolves. The rain all of a sudden illuminated purple in color and the elder forest wolves vanished, leaving a humongous hole on the surface they stood with smoke rising out of it.
In shock, many of the Ripars, Kenars and Graundars were left speechless while the Tenplars smiled.
"You have arrived, my chief." A male Tenplar said with his eyes closed.
