After Xorian had reacted with excitement towards Onak, Xorian began to laugh out heartily, leaving the people surprised with his behavior. During this moment, Xorian appeared before Onak and began to playfully swing Onak's arms while laughing with closed eyes which left Onak himself confused while the audience murmured among themselves.
 "What the hell?"
"What's with that boy?"
"Yeah, what's with him?"
"He just got faster." Chief Ezgord said.
"Hm?" Chief Akuro said in confusion as his eyes rolls towards Chief Ezgord.
"Didn't you notice?" Chief Ezgord asked, "That boy moved so fast that he was able grab hold of Onak's arms and swing them before he could even react or do anything else."
"His speed…" Chief Miza said as she witnesses Xorian returning back to where he stood before, "He wasn't like this when he fought Jagami. What is going on?"
"The balance of his power is still rising at an abnormal rate." Chief Tenya said, "I noticed something different in him during his final moments with Jagami but i didn't think… I thought the boost was just a one-time thing."
"So it is real…" Chief Akuro said with widened eyes, "Which means she actually did it. But how was he able to come back?"
"What are you talking about?" Chief Miza asked.
"There is a legend of a Kenar rising from the flakes and becoming more powerful than he or she already is." Chief Akuro answered, "During Xorian's battle with Jagami, i had a theory that she took his life with her diamond driver but then he resurrected and became stronger.
But the question is how? Was it the light that shone around him? I thought this was all a myth…"
As Chief Akuro was railing in confusion, the other Chiefs stared at him with a puzzled demeanor. Back at the arena, Lizira herself was also confused with Xorian's behavior.
"Uh, hey, Xorian." Lizira called, "Why are you laughing? Do you find this fight funny? I mean, shouldn't you be bothered about your opponent?"
"Huh? Why would it bother me?!" Xorian asked with a smile, "If this  had been a one sided fight, it would have been boring considering the kind of person i'm fighting. But since he is showing he is not an over hyped pushover, this fight is going to get exciting!"
"He's excited about fighting someone like Onak?" Idjra asked within herself, "Does he have some kind of death wish or something?"
"Jagami's friend is really a strange person." Raen said within herself.
"My power is rising! I can feel it!" Xorian said while smiling as he stares at his balled right hand, "I feel like i can do more…! Hit more…! This is so amazing…"
"Let us make the best out of this fight, big guy!!"  Xorian said as he raised his head with a wild grin.
"Humph." Onak said while keeping his usual scowling demeanor.
In a flash, Onak appeared in front of Xorian and collides fists with him which decimated the ground and created a wind pressure shockwave.
"Hahaha! Amazing!" Xorian said with a wild expression while smiling.
Xorian bawls as his irises glowed and he quickly pushed Onak back with his fist. Onak charges towards Xorian and tries to punch him but Xorian ducks and lands an uppercut on Onak's chin; without faltering, Onak tries to land another punch on Xorian but Xorian appears at his side and lands two punches on Onak's face that sent him skidding.
Onak stabilizes himself but Xorian appears at his back and lands a spin kick which Onak quickly turns around and blocks.
Onak's irises glowed and with a yell, Onak connects a strong punch on Xorian's belly that sent him sliding on his back; Xorian quickly hops back to his feet in time to instinctively guard against a powerful punch from Onak which made him skim back on his feet.
Xorian noticed his arms shaking and grins at it, only for Onak to appear at his back and throws another powerful punch that sent a strong wind pressure while creating a rift on the ground in the process.
Xorian, however, appears above Onak and lands an axe kick that levelled the ground but Onak appeared away from Xorian and in a flash, Onak and Xorian's fists collides again and the two gazed at each other.
While staring at themselves, Onak grits his teeth while Xorian grins at him; the both of them blared as each their irises glints and they began to release a barrage of punches that destroyed the ground while creating a powerful gust of wind in the arena.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! These two are insane!!" Lizira said.
Witnessing this, the audience began to mutter amongst each other.
"Woah, these guys are amazing!"
"Such power and speed… These two are uncanny…"
"Is it just me or is the Graundar boy getting stronger?" A braided blacked haired Kenar woman asked.
"Yeah, i noticed." A black haired Ripar woman replied, "His physical capabilities are increasing at an amazing level but it's not just that, it would seem that he is learning as he is fighting.
You'd think he is just a brainless beast but he showing some intelligence in battle."
"So he is a savage with brains, huh?" A brown haired Ripar woman asked with a smile while stroking her chin, "Interesting. I'd like to learn more about him."
Elsewhere at the audience center, Raen, Yulin and Idjra were also in awe with what they were witnessing.
"Jagami, your friend is amazing!" Yulin said while smiling.
"He's keeping up with Onak…" Raen said with widened eyes.
"This Na'darim is truly impressive." Idjra said.
"Indeed…." Jagami replied.
"You're having fun, aren't you, Xorian?" Jagami asked within herself.
Jagami had a recollection of earlier as she sat on a chair in the Keigra medical center while wearing the white Keigra medical robe along with Xorian (who happened to be laying on the bed)
"Jagami…? What are you doing here?" Xorian asked in confusion.
"Checking up on you, of course." Jagami replied, "And it turns out you are still a mess."
Xorian groans in pain as he sat up on his bed while rubbing the back of his head.
"Where am i?" Xorian asked.
"In the medical center. Isn't it obvious?" Jagami asked with a raised brow, "Anyway, the healers revealed that in our battle, you took a lot of damage, if they were to give in percentage, it is a 97% and your stabilization technique was one of the things that brought it to that level due to you not losing consciousness from my hits."
"Yeah, you hit hard and plus, that was one hell of a fight." Xorian said while smiling, "I can't wait to go outside and fight again!"
"Uh huh. A word of advice, don't use that stabilization technique again." Jagami said, "The healers also pointed out that you brought more damage to yourself than i did during our fight."
"Oh, so when you thrust my head under you and smashed it through the pillar of blue diamond, it didn't do much damage to me?" Xorian asked with a raised brow while having his arms crossed.
"To be honest, you're not the only one I've done that move to and that was one of my signature techniques in ending a fight." Jagami replied.
"First of all: Putting my head under you was an insult to a warriors pride and second: That technique hurt a lot!" Xorian said.
"So did your grand impact. It was if i felt my life slip away for a moment." Jagami replied with her arms crossed.
"Oh… Sorry." Xorian said while grinning nervously, "I guess we are even now."
"No, we're not. I'm the one who is supposed to tell you sorry." Jagami said while facing away from Xorian with the expression of guilt, "I went too far with the amount of force i used when i performed it on you.
Normally, when i use it, it usually ends up knocking one out or leaving a brain injury but this one, i used too much force on you which resulted to your situation before you defeated me.
 Tell me something, Xorian.."
"You died, didn't you?" Jagami asked as she turns her head towards him, "You lost your life when i used the diamond driver on you, right?"
"I'm not sure." Xorian replied, "Yeah… Maybe. After the Diamond driver, it was like i felt my soul slip away from my body but it was forcefully pushed back."
"I see…" Jagami said as she turns her face away with a shame filled expression, "I'm sorry for going that far with you. I was so desperate to win that i threw caution to the wind which ended up bringing forth your death."
"Well, I'm not dead, am i?" Xorian asked with a raised eyebrow while smiling.
"Does it matter? I did kill you." Jagami replied, "I let the same thing repeat itself."
"Same thing?" Xorian asked, "What happened?"
For a moment, Jagami stared at Xorian and let's out a sigh.
"Years ago when i was 9, there was an open exam tournament for the students that would perform in the Graundar tribe in order to move to the next class."
"Oh! I know it!" Xorian said with excitement, "There are two types of exams: first is based on writing which is done within the class and the second is based on power to see how far and how strong you have gotten which is performed in front of your parents and other members of your-!"
Xorian suddenly stopped as he noted the emotionless stare coming from Jagami.
"Sorry." Xorian said.
"I was one of the best in my school and i carried myself with immense pride of being the daughter of Iminko and Jian but i did have a rival whose name was Tagiri and she too carried immense pride of being the daughter of her parents…"
A flashback occurs as the audience stared in shock as a bloodied little Jagami (dressed in a white top with a purple stripe on the collar while having a purple sleeve along with her wearing a brown skirt and an orange cloth tied round her waist and with some long brown sandals) was on her knees, panting for air while a red haired Graundar girl with a twin ponytail, dressed in navy blue sleeveless top while wearing a white capri trousers and a black sandals, stared down at Jagami with a devious smirk while having her arms crossed.
"What's wrong, Jagami?" The girl asked, "Weren't you supposed to be invincible because of your parents? This goes to show that i Tagiri, am better than you in every single way and you and your parents are nothing more than a second fiddle in the Graundar community."
Jagami suddenly snapped as her irises glowed. The audience gasped in horror as Tagiri's body was decorated with blue diamond shrapnel.
Tagiri fell flat on her back and began to intensively bleed out while Jagami stood over her with a frightening glare. The enraged Jagami screamed as her eyes completely glowed and she began to viciously pound Tagiri's face with her fists."
"Jagami! Jagami! Stop!" A bald Graundar man dressed in a green top and black trousers said as he pulls Jagami away from Tagiri while she (Jagami) was screaming.
As Jagami was on her knees, panting for air while multiple healers were attending to Tagiri, Jagami spots her parents among the audience, staring at her with the look of disappointment which caused Jagami to bend her head in shame.
"That was the first time i saw them look at me like that…" Jagami said after recalling that incident, "And i didn't want them to look at me like that anymore."
"You snapped. It happens to the best of us." Xorian said.
"No, you don't understand." Jagami said, "I was already desperate and when i am desperate, i tend to snap and throw caution to the wind.
Tagiri hasn't recovered up till now, i almost killed her and i even killed you! I'm still that same 9 year old child that thinks so little of the consequences of her actions. There is no excuse for me."
Hearing this, Xorian also turned his face away with a saddened demeanor, filling the atmosphere with so much silence.
"Hey, Xorian…" Jagami called softly as her eyes rolls towards him, "How were you able to come back to life?"
"I don't know." Xorian replied while scratching the back of his head, "I guess it has something to do with the Nadak, my teacher Guju placed inside of me, but… If that was what brought me back… Then why…"
Xorian quickly recalls as Guju turns to dust and was blown away by the wind.
"Why didn't it help him?" Xorian asked while clenching his fists, "Why didn't it bring him back to life?"
"This Guju you speak of, i assume he was someone of high importance to you." Jagami said.
"Yeah, he was." Xorian replied, "He was the one that taught me how to use my ability. Initially, whenever i used my frostbite kan to drain the heat, i always feel great pain in doing it but Guju taught me how to make it easier.
He also told me something that shaped who i am…. 'Its good for a warrior to never forget their roots but at the end of the day, you can't continue to live in the shadow of their glory or failure. What your parents did in their generation is their legacy, what you'll do in yours is up to you.'
Since then, i vowed i'll never allow myself to live in the shadow of my parents and i'm going to live my life and enjoy every moment of it, no matter how dangerous the situation may seem."
"Guju seems like a great teacher." Jagami said.
"Yeah he is. I'm just sad that he is gone." Xorian said, "I knows its been years but it still hurts when i think about it especially now when i just met him."
"What are you…? Never mind." Jagami said, "There is something i want to ask you: when you stretched out your arm towards me and asked me to become your friend… Did you mean it? Because I've never had any friends."
"Huh? But what about you and Idjra?" Xorian asked in confusion.
"We're just partners, not friends." Jagami replied while facing the ground with a saddened demeanor, "I always felt the daughter of Iminko and Jian doesn't need any friends."
"Well, i never had any friends too because of how crazy and wild they say i am." Xorian said with a smile while scratching the back of his head, "Heck, even my partner doesn't consider me his friend."
"Those weren't just sayings, they were actually facts." Jagami said while smiling, "But if what you said to me back there was real…"
Jagami stood on her feet, walked towards Xorian and stretched out her arm.
"Then i gladly accept it." Jagami said with a smile.
Xorian chuckled as he grabs of Jagami's arm and shook it.
"I meant every word." Xorian said while smiling.
"Oh and by the way, not only have you become my best friend but you have also become my rival, ever since you defeated me at the tournament and guess what, i don't lose to the same person twice." Jagami said with a sly smile.
"Hehe, that's good to hear but i believe i'll be the one taking the victory if we should fight again." Xorian said while smiling with his eyes closed.
"What?" Jagami said with a raised eyebrow.
"Don't get me wrong, you are completely strong and with your evolyed form, that's just cheating." Xorian said, "After all, i had to use up most of the heat i had stored within myself to even crack it, drain heat from the ground and your diamonds, coupled with my unleashed mode to even corner you and took the Nadak to finally beat you when you went full murder mode on me, plus i've seen you defeat Obaru with just a flick of your finger in that mode."
"Exactly, i wasn't after beating you in the beginning, i just wanted to put you in your place." Jagami said with an expressionless demeanor.
"Which is exactly why i won and i'm going to do it again." Xorian said.
"Okay, you can stop talking now." Jagami said while trying to force a smile.
After remembering those moments, Jagami closed her eyes and smiled.
"Humph." Jagami said.
Down at the arena , the orange streak of light and red streak of light were swarming round the arena and levelled different parts of the ground in the process.
"This is awesome! This is awesome!!" Xorian said within himself while smiling, "This guy is so strong...!"
"This makes me want to give everything i've got!!!" Xorian said with a wild grin as his eyes completely glowed.
