In the red leafed forest, seven hivelings surrounded an injured male Graundar and while the Graundar was creaking in pain, the female hiveling among the seven scowled.
"Stupid human. Did you really believe you can fight us even with that voice encouraging you?" The female hiveling asked, "No matter the efforts you put, it will always be the same."
"Now die!" The female hiveling said as she raised her aura covered fist to punch the male Graundar.
Before she could move her fist, a golden glowing vine wrapped round her arm, raised her up and slammed her heavily on the ground, rendering her unconscious in the process. The remaining six were stunned but before they could make a move, six giant golden glowing vines sprung out from the ground, wrapped round their legs, raised them high and slammed them heavily on the ground as well which rendered them unconscious too.
Elsewhere, Gorn was squatting with his right hand placed on the ground and his eyes closed.
"Okay. That's the 306th I have taken care of now." Gorn said, "When are you going to lend me a hand...?"
"Sting." Gorn said as he glanced at Sting who at that moment was laying relaxed on the ground.
"Hey, don't rush it. I'm still working on my traps." Sting replied while smiling with closed eyes.
"Traps i haven't seen, yet." Gorn said, "How can you not be taking this seriously? You know what, never mind."
"I'm moving on." Gorn said as he started walking away.
"I wouldn't do that if i were you." Sting said while smiling as he opened one eye.
"Why?" Gorn asked as he looked back at Sting, " Is there-?"
"Die, human!" A male hiveling said as he showed up in front of Gorn to punch him.
However before the hiveling could do it, a dark aura covered the hiveling's body and made the hiveling painfully levitate. The hiveling screamed in agony as dark lights spewed out of his eyes, mouth and different parts of his body. The hiveling exploded and turned into black ash, leaving Gorn too shocked and terrified to speak.
"Experiment 456 has taken place." Sting said as he stood on his feet.
"H-huh?" Gorn said as he looked back at Sting.
"Where you were about to pass, i set a trap there with my gaaruda skills." Sting said with a smile as he walked past Gorn.
Sting squats to observe the ash and became displeased as he noticed a charred finger remaining.
"This hiveling is the 456th experiment so far and still no progress." Sting said as he placed his finger on his chin, "What am i doing wrong?"
"Hmm... I know! I will just look for more to experiment on!" Sting joyously said as he stood on his feet.
"Oh, there is another one." Sting said with a smile as he caught sight of another hiveling.
Just as Sting walks away, Gorn was frozen with shock and disbelief concerning the behavior of Sting.
"This guy is nuts. How is Cloud even friends with him?" Gorn asked within.
The sound of an explosion immediately resonated.
"Ah! I failed again!" Sting's voice sounded.
In the blue-leafed forest, a flaming red dragon was wreaking havoc on its environment, killing hivelings with it's devastating beam of fire and during it's rampage, the dragon crushed and knocked away numerous hivelings with it's tail. Plenty hivelings fired energy beams at the dragon but they showed no effect, the dragon however flapped it's wings and sent a powerful wave that threw the hivelings back and incinerated them in the act.
The humans that stood behind Karma (whose arms happened to be crossed) were amazed by the destruction and domination her dragon displayed.
"Oh my... Such power..." A Tenplar male said.
"Indeed." Another Tenplar male said.
"Why are you acting surprised?" A Ripar female asked, " This is just one of Karma's display of power."
"Yes but look at how just one dragon has wiped out so many of our enemies." A Kenar male replied.
"Those stupid hivelings thought they've learnt everything about us but they were wrong! Karma's power is bottomless! With Karma alone we can easily survive this madness!" A Ripar male said with a grin.
The people cheered heavily with their fists raised except for Killer bee and Reiv (who at the moment were staring at those cheering).
"They really seem happy about having Karma on our side." Reiv said, "But they are right. With Karma alone we can easily survive this."
Killer bee stared at Reiv for a while and glanced at Karma.
"Are you aware that your trump card wasn't even enough to scratch me and the attack i dished out was a very weak one?" Karma's voice replayed in Killer bee's head.
Killer bee recalled the scene of her using the full power of her final attack against Karma's dragon (chapter 18).
"She is not even trying at all." Killer bee said within, "I used my final and strongest attack against her salamander and i was easily overpowered. The things she could easily do... The level of her strength...
This is the power of Karma the spaded dragon, the only S ranked candidate and the last of the Dreygars. She is indeed the daughter of Chief Garou."
As the dragon was still laying waste to the hivelings, a female hiveling stretched forth her hands.
"Blood binding!" The female hiveling said as her eyes glowed.
Red strings quickly binded the dragon all over it's body thereby restricting it's movements and causing it to crash on the ground.
"NOW!" The female hiveling said.
Four male hivelings descended towards the dragon with their aura covered fist and with a mighty yell, they destroyed the dragon with a single punch which created a wave that spread across the vicinities. After destroying the dragon, the female hiveling and the four male hivelings were panting for air while the other hivelings cheered; the humans behind Karma were left speechless with the actions of the hivelings until the sounds of slow clappings echoed which turned out to be Karma.
"Congratulations. You managed to defeat it. Now tell me... What will you do about the second one?" Karma asked.
The hivelings quickly became shocked with the question of Karma which led many to murmur among themselves.
"Second... One?" The female hiveling that used the blood binding asked.
"Yes. Second one." Karma replied, "I can easily create another salamander right here and now. The part you struggled to take it down makes me wonder if you can do it again."
Karma raised her right hand and another flaming red dragon materialized in the sky, spreads it wings and roared which shook the environment. Witnessing this, the feeling of unease immediately plagued the hivelings and Karma took notice of it.
"I can see the thought of fighting the salamander again has left you dismayed." Karma said with crossed her arms, "Fine then, answer me this..."
"Would you like me to create more of this salamander?" Karma asked as her irises glowed.
Shocked again by her question, the hivelings were left speechless and were unable to respond.
"Answer me. Would you like me to create more of this salamander?" Karma asked.
The hivelings still didn't answer which left Karma's patience to run thin.
"Fine then, since you failed to answer, i will answer for you." Karma said with closed eyes.
In an instant, more flaming red dragons materialized in the air and roared which shook the environment mightily.
"Consider this as a child's lesson for touching what is mine... Lessers." Karma said with a deepened voice as her irises glowed.
"H-hey, can you tell how many they are?" A male hiveling asked another male hiveling while smiling fearfully.
"Twenty... Twenty-five... No... Fifty." The other male hiveling answered while trembling.
The female hiveling that used blood binding on the first dragon dropped to her knees and gazed at the ground with despair.
"This wasn't part of the bargain. We are going to die. We are all going to die." The female hiveling said within.
Just as all 50 of the dragons charged a massive swirling red ball of light in their mouths, they all dispersed, bringing shock to all that witnesses.
"You people have been so loud. Can you keep it down?" A masculine voice asked.
The hivelings turned back and caught sight of a male hiveling with a white short hair and blue taints, rubbing his glowing green eyes.
"Hello." The hiveling said.
Filled with unbelief and wonder, many of the humans began to murmur among each other.
"What just happened?"
"Did he just do what i think he did?"
"Was he the one that did it?"
"To destroy all 50 at once..."
"This hiveling is clearly no joke."
"He destroyed them. All of them." Killer bee said within.
"Hoh." Karma said with her head slightly bent while still having her arms crossed.
"Mohan, you blockhead! Where have you been?!" The female hiveling that used the blood binding asked the hiveling with the white short hair.
"Sleeping." Mohan answered, "The humans we have been dealing with seemed pretty weak, so i decided to take a nap."
"You were sleeping on a task assigned to you?!" The female hiveling asked.
"This task is more of a game to me and plus we were promised to fight strong humans." Mohan replied, "Also, were you struggling against those things? They were pretty weak too."
"Well... I..." The hiveling female said nervously while contemplating her words.
"Aren't you were supposed to be my sister? Why would you struggle against those things?"
"Now is not the time for this, sleepy head! We have a huge problem and that problem is going to get us all killed if you don't do something!" The hiveling female said as she pointed at Karma.
"Oh?" Mohan said while rubbing his eyes.
"Hey, Bee, do you feel it?" Reiv asked.
"Yes, i do." Killer bee replied.
"I can feel that scary power coming from that hiveling." Killer bee said at the time Mohan was discharging his aura while still rubbing his eyes.
"His power is so immense. No wonder he could easily take out all of those salamanders by himself." Killer bee said as her irises were glowing, "But I'm certain Karma will be able to handle him."
As Mohan stood in the front row of the hivelings, Karma and Mohan locked eyes with one another for a few seconds.
"So you were able to easily destroy my salamanders?" Karma asked.
"Those things were yours? They were so weak." Mohan replied.
"Of course they were weak. The level of those salamanders were only befitting for your weakling comrades." Karma said, "Neither of those lessers were worth my strength to punish."
"Wow. You are an arrogant one. I just wonder how strong you are to have a mouth  this big." Mohan said, "You remind me of Ghiga of the Dragunflai clan. The guy is quite strong; he is the kind of hiveling that would play around with his opponents and let them think they are winning until he shows them the difference in power. He is also the kind that would enter a 3-on-3 fight, turn it into a 6-on-1 and still be dominant."
   "Oh..." Reiv said within.
"Before we fight, I'd like for us to introduce ourselves." Mohan said, "I am Mohan of the Roch clan of the hiveling race. What's yours?"
"Is there any point in telling a corpse?" Karma asked.
   "Wow. Ok." Mohan nonchalantly replied.
"A word of advice for you: do not flatter yourself because you managed to destroy 50 of those salamanders." Karma said, "As i said before, they were weak attacks."
"I think this would be more fitting for you." Karma said as she raised her hand, "Dragons art: Kaileh'kantuum."
40 swirling red orbs of fire appeared above Mohan, causing the hivelings behind to step back.
"One alone is stronger than the combined attack of ten salamanders, so 40 would be more than enough to take you out." Karma said, "Now die."
Karma brought down her hand and the swirling red orbs of fire descended towards Mohan.
"How sad." Mohan said with closed eyes.
The orbs dispelled  before they could even get close to Mohan, leaving many humans (except Karma) shocked.
"How sad, really." Mohan said as he opened his eyes which at the moment were glowing.
"By the way, isn't this yours?" Mohan asked as he opened his fist and dropped black strands of hair.
Karma touched the left side of her hair that rested upon her shoulders and coldly glared at Mohan. The other humans being filled with unbelief with the actions of Mohan, began to mutter among one another.
  "Hold on!"
  "What?"
  "When did he...?
  "He did that to Karma?"
  "That was so fast!"
  "Indeed, it was."
"What the hell? He was able to easily take strands of hair from someone like Karma. Such a thing has never happened before." Reiv said.
"That was pure speed." Killer bee replied, "When Karma deals with fast things or people, it's either she'll quickly adapt or she'll reveal she was messing around which she does most times. But this guy was able to comfortably pluck out strands of her hair, sending a clear message he could have killed her on the spot; you can tell that Karma didn't see it coming. Just like the salamanders and flames, he has made a little demonstration of what he is capable of. I don't like this. I don't like it at all."
"I don't like it either." Reiv replied, "With what he has done, it is obvious that Karma has to take him seriously. If she refuses, she would lose or worse... Die to him, and we cannot afford for that to happen."
"So... Do you still think of me as a lesser?" Mohan asked while smiling.
"Humph. Don't get ahead of yourself" Karma replied as her irises glowed.
