Two years ago within the bounds of the Graundar tribe, a several grunts and moans of pain resonated in a field. Suddenly a 14 year old Graundar boy with brown hair fell on the ground and clutched his belly while coughing and groaning.
"That's enough." A masculine voice sounded.
The person turned out to be a Graundar man with a slightly imposing figure and a long black hair that was shaved at the left side.
"Combat training for today is over." The man said, "Though I must say you did go a little overboard..."
"Jagami." The man said as he shifted his gaze to 13 year old Jagami who was wearing a purple short sleeve top, a black knee-length shorts underneath a lilac apron skirt and brown sandals, "This was a training session, not an actual fight."
"Okay, now that the session is over, you two know what to do." The Graundar man said with both arms crossed.
The Graundar boy stood on his feet and walked towards Jagami while clutching his side with his left arm. As the boy stood close to her, he extended his right arm towards her but Jagami crossed her arms and turned her face away.
"Jagami." The Graundar man called with a stern look.
Jagami turned her gaze to the boy but instead of extending her right arm, she extended her left which left the boy stunned.
"Jagami! What do you think you are doing?! That is a high sign of disrespect to your partner!" The Graundar man said to Jagami in anger .
"He should be grateful i am even extending an arm to him." Jagami replied the teacher, "Someone like him doesn't deserve my respect or acknowledgement."
"You little...! It is tradition and you just disrespected our tradition just to disrespect him?! Have you no shame?!" The Graundar man asked as his irises glowed.
"With all due respect, that is a question you should ask him. While i didn't mean to disrespect our tradition, i have no regards for low lives like him." Jagami said as the boy gritted his teeth while his upper face was overshadowed.
"You... Why do you hate me this much?" The boy asked.
"Hate? No. But like i said earlier, i have no respect for people like you." Jagami replied, "People who come from worthless homes. People who try to act like they can be something regardless of their background. People who are foolish enough to believe they can topple those at the top despite where they are coming from."
"Low births will always be low births." Jagami said as her irises glowed, "A weak family will always produce a weak offspring. If you are going to be angry at anything then be angry at yourself, be angry at the fact you came from a useless family and that you will never amount to anything."
The words of Jagami made the teacher stare down at her with a raised brow. The boy however bent his head down and clenched his fists while exuding a small aura.
"You think you are better than me because of the family you were born into? You think i can never amount to anything because the status of my parents? So stupid." The boy said.
The boy raised his head and glared at Jagami while his irises glowed.
"One day, you will meet someone who will humble you. Someone from a 'worthless background' who will knock you down from your high horse. Just one day." The boy said.
"Child, shake his hand now and do it right." The teacher ordered Jagami as his irises glowed.
"Humph!" Jagami said as extended her right arm towards the boy.
