Jagami stared at the three hivelings for a while until the silver haired hiveling spoke.
"Congratulations on finishing your first wave quickly. However you would do well to remember that the first is always the easiest."
"Do not think it will remain the same with the next one." The silver haired hiveling said as he slightly raised his right hand.
The creatures resurfaced and surrounded Jagami again.
"They are more than before and judging by their pressure, they are a lot stronger than the first." Jagami said within as her irises glowed, "However..."
The sand in the hourglass began to pour again and without time being wasted, one of the creatures lounged at Jagami to punch her but Jagami caught his fist and knocked off his head with a punch of her own.
"They are still far from my level." Jagami said within.
The female hiveling with the long black hair smirked and Jagami started knocking down all the creatures with her fists and feet. In the course of attacking, Jagami stamped her foot on the ground.
"Skill: Cross wave!"
A massive X-shaped blue diamond spike erupted from the ground, causing all the creatures to bounce, impaling them with diamonds in the process. Jagami appeared in the air, coated with her blue aura and as she raised her right hand, countless enormous spheres formed from blue diamonds materialized around her while her irises glowed.
"Kuminitu: blue star heavens!" Jagami said as she brought her arm down.
Suddenly, the enormous spheres plummeted toward the creatures at blinding speed and crushed them all. The impact generated a massive wave that rippled across the vast room. However, upon reaching the area where the hivelings stood and the imprisoned humans were located there seemed to be an invisible barrier that stopped the waves from reaching them.
"Humph." The female hiveling with the long black hair said.
The hourglass reset itself once more as the blue diamonds scattered and the creatures vanished. Jagami descended to the ground and fixed her gaze on the hivelings for a moment.
"Next." Jagami said as her irises glowed.
The silver-haired male hiveling's eyes gleamed and the creatures reappeared, encircling Jagami once more. Minutes had passed and the ground was littered with their lifeless forms, each impaled by Jagami's blue diamond spikes.
The hourglass resetted itself again and the silver haired hiveling coldly scowled while Jagami returned her gaze to them.
"Next." Jagami said again.
Several minutes had elapsed and Jagami concluded her onslaught by forcefully colliding the faces of the last two creatures, leaving their lifeless bodies to collapse on the ground. As the hourglass reset, the corpses of all the creatures vanished once more."
"Next." Jagami said.
Another minutes had passed and Jagami concluded her next wave by toppling a colossal creature with her fist enveloped in aura. Once more, the hourglass reset itself as Jagami gazed down at the ground.
"Next."
Several minutes had elapsed again and Jagami casually deflected an energy blast from a creature with her hand as she surged towards it and forcefully slammed the back of its head against a wall, causing the creature to collapse lifeless on the ground. Jagami fixed her gaze on the creature's corpse while the room became littered with the bodies of its kind.
