As Armagog walked toward Jagami, Jagami feebly stood on her feet while her vision blurred. Jagami recalled the moment earlier when she had steeled herself for Armagog's attack only for him to appear behind her and knock her away with a punch.
"That very moment i was prepared to counter... It's like he became faster all of a sudden, not to mention his hits were heavier too." Jagami said in her heart, "Is he getting stronger?"
Armagog halted his advance and materialized before Jagami with the intention to crush her with a hammer fist but Jagami hopped away to dodge the attack, leaving his hand to break the ground. Armagog surged towards Jagami and swung his fist but Jagami evaded his punch and leaped in the air to land a punch of her own on his face which pushed him back. Despite this, Armagog charged at her again and threw another punch to which Jagami blocked but the impact behind the strike demolished the ground behind her. Jagami swiftly landed an uppercut only for Armagog to retaliate with a headbutt which she dodged by falling on the ground with her back.
Armagog drove his fist down to crush Jagami but she hastily moved out of the way, leaving his fist to demolish the ground as she reappeared a short distance away from him. Armagog still appeared in front of her and swung his fist but Jagami ducked again and disrupted his balance with a leg sweep. Jagami quickly leaped in the air to kick Armagog's head but Armagog caught her ankle and threw her away.
Jagami tumbled violently on the ground but quickly used her blue diamonds to steady herself, only for Armagog to rush in and land a dropkick that sent her crashing through her diamonds and tumble on the ground again. Armagog easily caught up to Jagami while she was tumbling, grabbed her by the head and raised her from the ground but before he could do anything else, the arm he used to hold her was cut off.
At the moment Jagami was set free from his grip, Armagog swung his other arm, but Jagami anticipated this and blocked the attack. She struck him with a palm strike to the jaw and pushed him back with a kick. Armagog steadied himself and ran towards Jagami to unleash a ferocious barrage of punches but Jagami parried them all.
"Hoakan temple!" Jagami said as her irises glowed.
Jagami unleashed a ferocious barrage of punches of her own which leveled the ground they stood on. The wind in the area ran wild as the two held their ground in their vicious exchange but amidst the chaos, several of the captives noticed something strange.
"Am i seeing this right?" The man with the bandana asked.
"We all are." The old man replied.
"Armagog is indeed getting stronger." The old man as Jagami was slowly being pushed back in their exchange.
The final punch from Armagog sent Jagami flying backwards. While she was soaring, Armagog caught up to her and started knocking her around with his fist until his last punch launched her high against a wall. At the moment Jagami was descending towards the ground, Armagog rushed at her like a wild animal, launched himself towards her and devasted the wall further.
"Lady Jian's hoakan temple: A technique that allows her to unleash an endless storm of strikes until her opponent is no more. With each passing second, the user becomes faster but the stamina to keep up is quite tasking unless you have truly mastered it." The old man said, "No one has ever overpowered that technique, however..."
"No one? Are you forgetting the Kenar boy Xorian overpowered it?" The man with the bandana asked.
"No he didn't, he simply broke the chain of attacks. If i recall correctly, his stabilization technique did allow him to take powerful damage and still keep fighting but he never overpowered her technique, instead he threw a force strong enough to disrupt the rhythm and flow of attacks; Armagog on the other hand didn't disrupt or break, he simply overwhelmed her.
Have you ever heard saying of the faster the object, the deadlier the impact? Lady Jian's hoakan temple has overwhelmed and killed many of her opponents. She has even overwhelmed very powerful nonphysical attacks with this technique but her daughter who has shown also great control over this technique like her fight was overtaken by that creature."
