The story talks about a young boy known as Cloud who aspired to become the greatest pilgrim warrior in Agaroth (the first warrior realm of mankind) despite his flaws, however there is more that meets the eyes as Agaroth is on the brink of extinction...
A flashback takes place 6 years ago as little Cloud was asleep on a chair with a coffee brown book between his arms, Marida walked in and stared down at him with the countenance of guilt. "Uhm... Cloud, i can see you are enjoying your new book." Marida said with a nervous smile, "Well, it seems better than your former book and once again i wanted to say i am sorry for what i did 5 days ago; i clearly wasn't in the right state of mind." However Cloud didn't respond as he was still sleeping, leading Marida to sigh. "Cloud, I'm sorry." Marida said as she bent her head, "What i did was wrong but that is pale in comparison to what i have done to you. You may not understand now but when you are older perhaps you will. I don't expect you to forgive me. I don't... The word sorry can't make up for everything i have done till now. I have made mistakes after mistakes and most times i feel i made the worst one, but i just can't and couldn't afford to lose you. When you find out the truth... I just want you to know that i love you and i always will." Marida turned her back to walk away but paused as she heard soft mumblings which turned out to be an awakened Cloud who at that moment was rubbing his eyes. "Mother...? You're back?" Cloud asked. The sight of Cloud opening his eyes made Marida recall the moment she first saw Cloud open his eyes as a baby. "Mother, is anything wrong?" Little Cloud asked. Marida remains mute as she was still entranced thus increasing Cloud's confusion even further. "Mother?" Cloud asked. Currently after Cloud had seen the truth about his past, a series of emotions coursed through his mind; Cloud was overwhelmed by the feelings of shock, despair, confusion, betrayal and pain . "All those times..." Cloud said. "Oh my. It seems a huge blow has been struck to your little world." Kiorra said, "The boy who spent his life living a lie, growing in the dark his parents left him in, has now shrunk in the light." "All those times..." Cloud said again. "Painful, isn't it? To know and be the exact cause of the problem but pretending not to know anything." Kiorra said, "From what i have seen, they would have told you the truth eventually but they needed the right time to do it. Unfortunately for them, they were destroyed with the rest of your people before they even had the chance. How sad." In the course of Kiorra talking, Cloud grits his teeth and tightly clenched his fists. "Yes, anger. Anger at the part you were kept from the truth for so long. Anger at the 15 years you have spent living a lie, but part of that anger is also at yourself." Kiorra said, "A part of yourself is starting to get angry that you didn't realize some of these earlier. A part of you is starting to blame yourself for existing, believing that if you did not exist, then your mother wouldn't have gone to me. And a side of you is also angry that you chose to ignore the clear signs in front of you; that you were never a minor as you mortals call them. Your entire world, your entire identity and pride has been shattered. Yet there is a side of you wants to believe that none of this is true. As usual, you still want to believe you are Cloud of the Stormwind. You still want to believe you are a minor... A minor that will make a difference and become the greatest in all of the warrior realms. A flawed and foolish dream, something you were aware of as you grew older but you still chose to carry on, telling yourself you were doing it to honor your deceased tribe." "Stop." Cloud responded at the time his head was still bent down. "A false inspiration to the other low lives. A delusional ambition!" Kiorra said. "Stop...!" Cloud said. "How can one inspire others when he himself is an imposter? A fake?!" Kiorra said. "Stop...!!" Cloud said again. "A foolish boy kept in the dark by the ones he trusted the most!" Kiorra said, "Useless! Useless!! So useless!!!" "STOP IT! JUST STOP IT!!!!" Cloud shouted. Cloud started panting for air while staring down with the expression of pain, leaving Kiorra silent for a few seconds. "The truth hurts, doesn't it?" Kiorra asked. The surroundings immediately reverted back to its original of Cloud in the palm of Kiorra. "Now you know the truth. Now you know your purpose." Kiorra said, "Ten years of suppressed power. It is even weak by the standards of higher ranked mortals but i can feel it... Your is strength growing and it can grow even higher if we begin now. You are my true other half ; the one meant to complete me and become the ruler of the end. The head of entropy and the destroyer of creation. Destiny awaits you." However Cloud stayed silent to the words of Kiorra. "You're quiet." Kiorra said, "Are you still in denial or are you-?" "Why?" Cloud cuts in on Kiorra, "Why should i fuse with someone like you? Why do i have to join you on your mad quest of destruction?" "Why? There is no why. It is your destiny... Your purpose." Kiorra said, "As i said earlier, you exist only to complete me and end all things." "End all things... Is there a reason for that? What reason do you have to make such a decision? Why do you want to destroy everything?" Cloud asked. "We are all destroyers. What differentiates one from the other is purpose." Kiorra said, "Some destroy for peace. Some destroy for glory. Some to protect and others to make a point. Some out of duty and others out of mischief and pleasure. "And what is yours? What do you destroy for?" Cloud asked as he raised his head with a stale countenance. "My reason is above your understanding." Kiorra replied. "Tell me." Cloud said. "Fathers tears and mothers blood..." Kiorra said. "Creation itself is an illusion to be undone." Cloud subconsciously said with Kiorra. In that moment, Cloud shook his head and his eyes widened with confusion concerning his words which made Kiorra chuckle. "What-what the...?" Cloud said. "You truly are my other half." Kiorra said, "If you understand the meaning behind those words, then you will understand my reason. For too long i have slumbered; for too long i have been denied, but no more. I shall return and finish what i started." "We shall return and finish it all." Kiorra said with his eyes glowing brighter. "And if i refuse?" Cloud asked. "There is no refusal. Even as i am now, i could take over your body and destroy a few easily, but why stop at a few when you can have all?" Kiorra asked. "A few?" Cloud asked. "Worlds. Universes as you mortals call them. There were a vast number of worlds.... Uncountable, but i made them countable." Kiorra said. "These are the worlds and their moment of destruction." Kiorra said as a scene plays of countless colored orbs exploding, leaving Cloud horrified, "Yours was among." "M-mine?" Cloud asked. In that moment, Cloud had recollections of the visions he had of the Earth and the universe destruction which made him touch his forehead in pain. "I-I can remember." Cloud said with googled eyes, " I have had visions of Earth realm destruction. I have seen everything in the universe disappear. Why... Why am i remembering this now?" "Your memories was distorted due to the reset of this world and it's timeline, and I'm not speaking of Roku's actions with your ancestors." Kiorra said, "What you have been seeing was the past and the future of all worlds." "Reset? Past and future?" Cloud asked. "When i destroyed this world along with the other worlds, it was unknown to me that a dweller had done something that would cause your world to reset if destroyed and with the entrance of kan in your world, this world's timeline was distorted." Kiorra said, "Things that were not supposed to exist existed and things that existed were no more. Words, races, cultures, things that were supposed to come in the future of your world, came to the past and what was supposed to exist in the past and present disappeared. With the resetting of your world and the presence of kan, an anarchronos was created." "An anarchronos?" Cloud asked. "A misplace in time. A time anarchy." Kiorra said, "And because of the anarchronos, my memories were also distorted for a while. You've seen it all; the destruction of worlds. My actions of the past and of the future and you have felt them all; the deaths of the past and the deaths that is to come. They have always haunted you since you were child. This world's destruction is inevitable or newworld as the grandmasters would call it. But funny, isn't it? The world i destroyed was the world i was imprisoned in. But it matters not. The grandmasters, the arcons, the three bright lords and every other including the empress are all dead! I have destroyed them all and there is none to stand in our way!!" "What the hell..." Cloud said within. "Join me and let us fulfil our destiny of conquest! Our destiny of destruction!" Kiorra said. "Together we shall be the turmoil in the heavens. The entropy in the order. The beginning of the end." Kiorra said as Cloud was mindlessly stretching forth his arm, "Complete me! Complete our power!!!" Cloud immediately regained himself and drew his arm back. "No! I refuse!!" Cloud said. The resistance from made Kiorra stare at him with a bit of wonder "You refuse?" Kiorra asked. "After everything you just showed me, you think I'd be crazy enough to complete you?" Cloud asked as he stood on his feet, "Like hell i will." "I have told you before, you do not have a say in this." Kiorra said with a more menacing tone, "You are my other half, covenanted to me by your mother. A child who has no existence other than this and you will commit. The only reason why you live is because of me." "Then I'd rather die!" Cloud said. "Speak carefully." Kiorra said. "I would rather not." Cloud replied, "If my life means the end of others, then i would rather end mine." "And what about your tribe? Do you not desire to learn the ones responsible for their destruction? Do you not desire vengeance?" Kiorra asked as his eyes glowed brighter. Cloud quickly found himself in the scene of his tribe's destruction. "A side of you desires to learn the ones that took everything from you and that side still does." Kiorra said as Cloud caught sight of his younger self on his knees and crying, "A side of you also desires vengeance but you constantly brushed it aside with the thoughts of being powerless and your honor nonsense." "Constantly filling your head with delusions and not paying attention to the true feelings that lies beneath your heart." Kiorra said as Cloud bent his head down, "Whether you like it or not, your people were my people and i will not let their deaths go unpunished unlike you. But you have a choice now: join me and i shall show you the ones responsible for your tribe's destruction, and not only will i reveal them, i will also rain my fury upon those lower life forms." "No." Cloud said, catching Kiorra off guard, "I still will not." "You still will not?" Kiorra asked. "I'll be honest with you, you are right about a lot of things concerning me but at the same time wrong." Cloud said, "A side of me did and does desire vengeance but i keep brushing it aside, controlling the rage and hate with reason." "Reason?" Kiorra asked, "Your people were murdered. What reason? You will only dishonor them by leaving their deaths unavenged." "And i would dishonor them more if i choose you." Cloud replied, "I am upset and heartbroken about the truth of myself, my past and the past of my people. I'm upset and heartbroken that my parents knew everything that was happening to me but they acted like they knew nothing. I desire to learn who or what is it that destroyed my tribe but i would be a big fool for daring to chose you and not only a fool but i will also be spitting on my people with that decision. Besides, if you really wanted to avenge them then you could have done it but you didn't. So don't stand there and speak to me about leaving the dead unavenged when you don't care about them at all. You are just trying to manipulate me like you manipulated my ancestors." "Child..." Kiorra said. "I reject you, i reject everything about you and as long as i am still me, as long as i am still Cloud, i will never be one with you." Cloud said. In that moment, Kiorra swiftly drew his face closer to Cloud in anger and snarled which created massive thunderings in the environment. Though Cloud's face remained firm, Kiorra could see the fear in his eyes which made Kiorra smile. Kiorra bursts out in an ominous laughter that shook the realm, leaving Cloud more afraid and yet confused. "Foolish human. Trying to speak as one who is wise but in the end a fool is a fool." Kiorra said, "You reject me? As long as you are Cloud? For how long? Let me tell you this: When you die, you will simply reincarnate and still be tied to me. The Omega markings and the markings of your ancestors are proofs; even in your next incarnation, you will still bear them and who knows what the next you will do." The revelation of Kiorra made Cloud's eyes widen in shock. "You cannot reject me. You cannot escape me. I am your destiny." Kiorra said, "I could simply control you right now to be one with me but my power won't be complete, so I'll wait; i will wait for you to be reborn again and perhaps... I might end up meeting a stronger and better version of you. One who might willfully fuse with me and if not that one, then the next one will. So go ahead and live the little life you have left..." "Foolish human." Kiorra said as his eyes glowed brighter. Cloud immediately woke up and found himself in an unknown forest and was panting heavily. During that moment, Cloud stared at his palms and his hands shook as he had several memories of his little self laughing with his mother, his father teaching his little self how to use the bow and his younger self hugging his parents. "The person that reignited the covenant with me and made you my other half was your mother." Kiorra's voice replayed in Cloud's head. "The boy who spent his life living a lie." Kiorra's voice replayed again as Cloud recalled the moment his 8 year old self stood on the edge of a cliff and was staring at the horizon with a cocky smirk. "The Tageiras." Kiorra's voice replayed again in Cloud's head as he recalled the scene of destroyed realms and villages. "You will simply reincarnate and still be tied to me. A child who has no existence other than this." Kiorra's voice replayed again in Cloud's head as his panting grew heavier, "You are mine, Cloud of the Tageiras." Unable to hold any longer, Cloud lets out a large yell and started panting again while touching his face, hoping to believe this was a dream. Cloud fell on his face and clutched the grass on the ground, and as he raised his face from the ground, his eyes were clogged with tears but Cloud wiped them off. Cloud quickly felt a strong presence at his back and just as he peeked, he saw Karma sitting a bit far from him on a rock with crossed arms. "Wow. That was something." Karma said. "Karma...?" Cloud asked. "Greetings, Cloud of the Stormwind or whoever the hell are you are." Karma said as her irises glowed.
