*A hand suddenly emerged out of Hybereus's chest which made spill out of his mouth. Being caught off guard, Hybereus momentarily gazed at the bloodstained hand and as he glanced at his attacker, he saw the person to be Lyx.*

Lyx stared at Hybereus for a while until her irises glowed while she smiled at him.

"At long last." A dry demonic voice echoed in Hybereus's head.

Hybereus suddenly found himself kneeling in a stark crimson environment while binded with black chains.

"I have been waiting for this moment." The voice echoed in the environment.

Hybereus's eyes glowed as he raised his head and caught sight of a charcoal-black humanoid male creature hovering in the air while sitting on a throne; the creature lacked facial features except for the glowing red eyes and a had red flame-like aura oozing out of his body.

 "Welcome." The creature said.

"You are him, aren't you?" Hybereus asked.

"The living nightmare... Avel." Hybereus continued as the creature slightly titled his head.

"It was rather obvious, wasn't it?" Avel asked.

"What do you want?" Hybereus asked.

Avel gazed at Hybereus for some time and spoke.

"Honestly, i am impressed with you, hiveling. You have uncovered the truth about my disguise and done things that i imagine no one would do.  When Garou singlehandedly defeated me and my disciples, he destroyed my body, so in order to survive, i split my essence and took form of several objects; a mask, a ring but the most were stones... The stones of shannox as fools would call them. I disguised myself so well that no one could tell the difference between han energy and my kan. No one except you... And that makes you the perfect candidate."

Hybereus's expression however remained emotionless as Avel continued.

"Learning some of my past. Controlling pocket realms and summoning my disciples especially the disciple i created from many corpses, Armagog and Lyx, the disciple who was betrayed by her people and given over to her enemies because she wasn't a pure-blood. Once again, i am impressed; though Ameketh was her faithful servant and the only one who stood by her, he was a lesser disciple."

"But that's enough." Avel said as he extended his arm forward, "I will be taking your body, now."

Hybereus gazed upon the chains that binded him and took notice of a red shade slowly spreading across his body.

"You were a remarkable person. To understand the stone and do the things you have done... You have a special kind of darkness in your heart." Avel said, "A darkness that makes you perfect for my return."

As the shade had covered Hybereus's neck, Avel continued.

"After enduring all those years of my humiliating defeat by the hands of one man, i shall return and exact my vengeance on not just Agaroth but the entire world. Garou is gone and there is no one left to stop me! I shall return and finish what i started!"

"I shall drown this world in an everlasting nightmare." Avel said as his demonic dry voice echoed in the environment, "Now become mine. Become my vessel! Become the instrument i shall use to walk among the living again!"

"Become one with the nightmare." Avel said as the red shade had covered all parts of Hybereus's body except his right eye.

Before the shade cover the eye, Hybereus's eye glowed.
