In the halls of the Shard Court, Zotek was holding by the face a long grey haired, pale pink humanoid with antennas, off the ground while Schroeder stood behind him with crossed arms.
"You're not going to eat his soul?" Schroeder asked.
"No." Zotek replied, "I'm not going that far, plus we need him for questioning."
"Yeah, we do." Schroeder said, "We don't know how many of these Hivelings have infiltrated Keigra and the Shard Court."
"We don't. And how they were even able to enter without setting off an alarm is what puzzles me." Zotek said, "If we let this news spread, the tournament will be cancelled and all the time spent will be in vain.
Only if we had more hands on deck."
"We would have but then again, you comatose Seigen while Zera made most of the teachers to leave." Schroeder said, "I took care of two Hivelings recently with my dark sand and handed the minors over to the healers.
I also convinced Leorona to join the healers despite them developing healing objects that could rival her level of healing."
"Does she know?" Zotek asked as his eyes rolls back at Schroeder.
"Yes. I told her about the Hiveling situation and she agreed to help." Schroeder replied, "However, she feels we should let the Chiefs and the others be aware of what is happening."
"But you don't?" Zotek asked.
"Just like you said earlier, if word should get to them then the tournament could be cancelled and it will all be for nothing." Schroeder said as his eyes gazed the ground, "All those students that died in the tasks and trainings … I can't let this be the result. We need to get rid of them quick."
"Very well." Zotek said as he faces forward and drops the Hiveling body.
"Another question for you." Schroeder said, "How are you not able to sense them, considering you could sense both human and inhuman energies?"
"That's something i don't even understand." Zotek said as he squats to observe the Hiveling, "Even if they were able to get through the Keigras defenses, i'm still supposed to sense them but if they could get in here without me being able to sense them, which means Chief Tenya herself didn't feel their kan balance.
Could it be that their level of kan stealth was so great that i couldn't even sense them?"
"You know, many people have been saying you should have been Chief of your tribe despite your older brother holding the title." Schroeder said while smiling, "Don't get me wrong, your brother's word soul is powerful; i mean the ability of using your soul energy to make every word you say take effect, now that's one heck of a power but if you decided to pursue harder, you could be the one on top."
"I have no interest for such." Zotek replied, "And plus, i have other things to do."
"Other things to do?!" Schroeder asked while smirking with a raised eyebrow, "What could be more important than the most honorable title in your own tribe? I mean-"
Schroeder suddenly paused as he noticed a red glow coming from from the Hiveling's black tailcoat, prompting Schroeder to walk towards the Hiveling.
"What the….?" Schroeder said as Zotek draws out a crimson stone with a glowing red circle on it from the Hiveling's tailcoat, "Zotek, that's…"
"The D'muresh stone." Zotek said, "A han filled stone capable of teleporting numerous people at once. This crimson D'muresh stone is quite similar to the one i gave Sonia and her teammates when they were supposed to accomplish a task."
"We give the students a D'muresh stone to transport them to their location of their tasks; the leader of the group during that task gets to hold it." Schroeder said, "Now i think about it, it was quite odd that most of the D'muresh stones went missing after the rain, which heavily affected our journey to Keigra."
"We have a mole in our midst." Zotek said.
"Hold on! This could mean anything!" Schroeder said.
"Where is Ernia and Arxion?" Zotek asked as his eyes rolls back Schroeder.
"They are in one of the Keigras medical rooms and they are both injured." Schroeder replied, "Ernia explained that her and Arxion were bringing new ingredients to assist the cooks at the Shard Court but all of a sudden, they were attacked by something that moved so fast and wounded them both; why they weren't killed, Ernia doesn't understand and plus Arxion is still unconscious.
 Zotek… Are you…?"
"No, i don't think they are the moles." Zotek said as he resumes facing the Hiveling's body, "I just wanted to find out where they were."
Zotek and Schroeder's irises glints as they heard Onak's roar echoed through the hall.
"Oh no, not again." Schroeder said.
Back at the arena as Onak was growling while facing the ground with his eyes completely glowing, the audience began to mutter amongst themselves.
"What in the world?!"
"This power… It's so inhuman…!"
"Look at his canine teeth! What the hell is this guy?!!"
"How could they let someone like this into the academy?!"
"Oh no, this is bad!" A red curly haired Ripar woman said with widened eyes, "This doesn't look good at all for that Kenar boy!"
Meanwhile Jagami gazed at the unconscious Xorian with so much fear that her hands were shaking along with her irises glowing. At that moment, Jagami remembered earlier as her and Xorian were walking in the marketplace and discussing with each other.
"The match between me and Onak is going to be hell of a match." Xorian said while staring at the ground, "And to be honest, i know i'm going to get the beating of my life and i absolutely won't walk out of there in one piece, but one thing is for sure…"
Jagami became confused as Xorian halted, making her to halt as well.
"I'm not going down without a fight." Xorian said as he glanced back at Jagami with a smile, "And you can bet that even if i lose, i'm going to give the big guy one hell of a battle and have fun doing it."
"Xorian…" Jagami said as she became stunned with his speech. "Alright then, there is something i need you to promise me." Jagami said as she walks towards front of Xorian, "Onak is no joke and he is one of the most dangerous students in the academy, if not the most dangerous and that's why…"
Jagami placed her hands on Xorian's shoulders, leaving Xorian surprised at her actions.
"Uh… Jagami?" Xorian called with a raised brow.
"I want you to promise me that you'll come back alive after this match." Jagami said as she was facing the ground while still having her hands on Xorian's shoulders.
"Uh… Aren't you taking this a little-?"
"Just promise me!" Jagami said, "I can't afford to lose the first friend i have, so please, Xorian, come back after this match… Please..."
Initially dumbfounded at her behavior, Xorian later smiles at her.
"Alright, you got it!" Xorian said, "I promise i'll come back after this match! You can count on it!"
After recalling that moment, Jagami growled as she clenched her fists.
"Damn you…!" Jagami said as she rose from her seat, "Xorian, you donkey! What do you think you are doing?!"
With that sudden reaction, Jagami instantly caught the attention of many among the audience.
"Xorian, you promised you'll make it back after this match and now you are going to break your promise?!" Jagami asked, "A warrior never goes back on their word! They keep it til the very end!!"
"Jagami, stop." Idjra said as she held her hand.
"Let go of me!" Jagami said as she brushes off Idjra's hold.
"Xorian, remember your promise!" Jagami said, "Get up, Xorian! Get up!!"
While Jagami was screaming for Xorian to awaken, Onak roared once again and charged towards Xorian.
"XORIAN!!!!" Jagami screamed as her voice echoed along with her glowing irises.
Xorian's irises glowed as he immediately opened his eyes, spawning an explosion that pushed Onak back. As Xorian slowly stood on his feet while having his head bent, Lizira took notice of the ground freezing as Xorian was giving off a troublesome red aura.
"H-huh?!" Lizira said as she jolted back in shock.
"Xorian…?" Jagami said in confusion.
The air in the arena began to run wild and Xorian immediately raised his head and gave off a deepened bawl, causing the height of his aura to increase and shaking the arena in the process.
During this incident, an enormous flaming red bird suddenly emerged and spread it's wings while screeching, sending it's red flames across the arena and leaving so many astonished at what was taking place.
""What the?!" A black haired man said.
"Is that a Keillax?" A blonde man asked.
"That's no Keillax. That's a phoenix!" A blonde woman said.
"Woah." Izaiya said.
"So much power…" Reiv said.
"Amazing…" Killer bee said.
"Humph." Karma said with an unamused demeanor.
Down at the arena, a shadow figure was stepping out of the red flaming bird and Onak roared and charges towards it to attack but was sent flying back instead and buried into the ground before his fist could connect, leaving the audience shocked.
"Wha-?!!" Yulin said as she stood from her seat.
"Fast…!" Govo said within himself.
Back at the arena, the shadow figure walked out of the flaming bird, revealing the appearance to be that of Xorian whose hair and clothes were discharging a flaming streak.
"What the heck is this power?!!" Idjra asked.
"I-is that Xorian?" Yulin asked.
Raen glanced at Jagami and took notice of Jagami staring down at the arena with furrowed eyebrows.
The flaming red bird immediately dispersed, sending it's flames all over the arena, leaving the audience more astonished.
"What the heck is going on?!" Lizira asked within herself while trembling.
Xorian opened his eyes and a tiny red wave of flames drew out from them ; Xorian's scleras were crimson in color while his glowing irises were discharging a red streak of flames.
"I can feel the entire place screaming with excessive kan…" Cloud said within himself, "This form of his, it feels like the unleashed mode but stronger… Wilder…"
At that moment, Cloud and Jagami quickly grasped the situation of Xorian's new form which sent them to a state of panic.
"Oh no…" Cloud said.
"What?" Sting said as his eyes rolls towards Cloud.
"This is bad…" Cloud said, "Pit, you said when Xorian enters the unleashed mode, he becomes wilder, more dangerous and tends to go on a rampage, right?"
"Yes. Why are you asking?" Pit asked as her eyes rolls towards Cloud.
"Xorian is in the unleashed mode but it's a stronger and wilder version of it!" Cloud replied, "If he was dangerous before when he activated it, he's more dangerous now!"
"Huh?" Sting said as he stared at Cloud in confusion.
"Y-you're right…" Pit said with widened eyes as she faced the arena with her panora activated, "I can't see Xorian there at all! His soul… It's like he has lost all sense of reasoning just like Onak!"
Hearing this, Sting and Killer bee became highly worried with the situation.
"No…" Xoran and Galiel said with widened eyes.
"Jagami, calm down." Idjra said.
"No, i can't calm!" Jagami said while rubbing the sides of her head in panic, "How could this go wrong…?"
"If your theory is correct concerning Xorian, then hell is about to break loose with these two." Raen said.
"I agree." Yulin said, "These two are going to kill each other."
"We need to stop this match." Chief Tenya said while staring down at the arena with her irises were glowing purple.
"Why?" Chief Miza asked.
"I've sensed the balance of these two and neither of them are in their right mind." Chief Tenya replied, "This is going to turn into a blood match if it's not stopped!"
"That's no good." Chief Akuro said.
Down at the arena as Onak and Xorian locked eyes with each other from afar, Xorian chuckled sinisterly while emitting a menacing red aura.
"Come at me with everything you've got and i shall respond with the same!" Xorian said with a darkened voice.
Onak roared in response as he too was discharging a menacing aura.
