Time had passed after the destruction of Eather, what was left of the moabians had arrived in the mountainous forest of Earth through several purple portals opening late in the night. Many of the moabians that came out from the portals were injured as some were being supported by other moabians to move on their feet.
Zirus stepped out of one of the portals and noticed an engraving on a big rock leaning against one of the trees in the forest and walked towards it. Arriving close to the rock, Zirus squatted and observed the writings.
"One can never understand freedom unless it is fought for." Zirus read in his heart.
"This is the writing of our moabian ancestor Mazach." Zirus said within as he stood on his feet, "We are here. The land that was given to our ancestors after they defeated the malkims. The forest of Ekhabhor."
"We will stay here." Zirus said to the moabians as he glanced at them, "We will use this place to heal and regain our strength. If i am correct, this place still has the jade rivers created from the tears of our female ancestors who wept for their fallen lovers they were unable to save from their wounds. It is said that the glowing green waters can restore limbs and heal those that are at the brink of death.
Those of you who are capable of walking while injured should go there to heal and those who are unable to do so must be aided by those uninjured!"
"Yes!" The moabians responded.
Hours later, Zirus watched afar off as many moabians were being placed in the river and beside him stood Avilah and some of the top chosen warriors of the moabian race which were Shia, Kalakai, Ghumè and Malius.
"We should be grateful this river still exists." Zirus said, "Some of what remained of our people would have died if it weren't for this river. In a matter of days, our people will be restored to full health and then we can think of our next move."
"It's funny you say that." A feminine voice said.
Zirus turned to the direction of the voice and saw the person to be Avilah who was watching the moabians in the river as well.
"Excuse me?" Zirus said.
"Next move. Had we not made our next move, we wouldn't be in this situation." Avilah said.
"Avilah!" Shia called.
"Do you have something to say to me?" Zirus asked.
"Yes. Yes, i do and as a matter of fact, i am going to say it." Avilah said as she glanced at Zirus with a scowl while her eyes were glowing ,"It is your fault! If you and Bills had not gone against the warnings of Zas, we wouldn't be here!"
Zirus grabbed Avilah by the collar and drew her close to his face.
"If we had stayed then we would have looked weak in the eyes of our enemies." Zirus said as his eyes glowed, "Rumors were already traveling like wildfire that the moabian race had gotten weak again because of Ashuk's second disappearance. If we had stayed behind then it would have confirmed our weakness.
But if you want someone and something to blame, then blame Ashuk. He is the reason why we are in this mess. If it weren't for him abandoning us, Zas wouldn't have dared threaten us!"
Zirus tossed Avilah to the ground and turned away from her.
"If it weren't for him, but Ashuk didn't give the order, you did!" Avilah replied as she stood on her feet, "You and Bills. So our calamity still falls on you! If you stayed your hand then we wouldn't have lost our families and our home!"
"You can blame Ashuk all you want but this is all your fault!" Avilah said as she walked towards Zirus, "The blood of our people falls on your head!"
