The story talks about a young boy known as Cloud who aspired to become the greatest pilgrim warrior in Agaroth (the first warrior realm of mankind) despite his flaws, however there is more that meets the eyes as Agaroth is on the brink of extinction...
In the blue-leafed pocket realm while those capable of healing were attending to the injured, Reiv and the few others that were uninjured were on the watch for incoming hivelings. During the time they were watching, Reiv took notice of a Kenar female emitting her aura as she was trembling with anger. "That bastard...! I just lost my brother because of her...! I'll never forgive her for this!" The Kenar female said. "It's not like she even needs it to begin with." A Graundar male replied, "As far as she is considered, we are all lessers, so our lives bear no meaning." "You shut your mouth...!" The Kenar female said as she glanced at him with a glare, "Keep talking and i swear I'll make you the Dreygar i want to kill." "Calm down." Reiv said to the Kenar female, "Now is not the time for this. We have all lost a lot but fighting right now won't make anything better. Let's all keep our emotions in check." "It's easier for you to say when you haven't lost anyone." The Kenar female said as she turned to Reiv. "Okay, that was just-" "Just what? You don't have a brother, do you? A sister or even friend here that you lost." The Kenar female cuts in, "I can wager that your only friend Izaiya is not even in this pocket realm." "If you think Izaiya is my only friend then you're wrong." Reiv said, "Yes, Izaiya is my best friend but he is not my only friend and just like you and everyone here, i lost a lot of my friends in this madness and because of Karma's betrayal." "But you never lost a brother, so you cannot tell how i feel." The Kenar female replied, "If only you didn't have those overgrown bangs covering your upper face, I'd be able to fully tell the kind of face you are making right now or maybe if you had just used your kan ability of soul's luck, some of them would have still been alive!" "Humph." Kenar female said as she turned her back and storms off. "I don't agree with what she said but she does have every right to be enraged." A Ripar male said to Reiv. "We all do." Reiv replied, "I just hope she doesn't do anything rash. Karma keeps crossing lines with no regard for others and this act of hers is the biggest so far." "But i don't understand, how did she escape? Even Bee with her gates couldn't leave the realm." The Ripar male asked. "I assume the only way she must have done it was because one of those hivelings had an artifact capable of carrying them out whenever he or she needed, but that is just a theory." Reiv said. "That theory might be possible. So what should we do? Look out for other hivelings with that kind of artifact?" The Ripar male asked. "Well-" "DON'T SCREW WITH ME!!!" A masculine voice sounded, catching the attention of Reiv and the others watching out. "Huh?" Reiv said. Reiv and a few quickly ran towards the direction of the sound and found a long brown haired Tenplar male standing and staring down at Killer bee who was seated on the ground as though she had been pushed. "Calm down!" A black haired female Ripar said as she held the Tenplar male by his arm. "No, i will not calm down!" The Tenplar male said as he shrugged off her grip, "This oval-headed fool must have known that whitehead had kan and she said nothing, just like she must have known that that bastard was going to betray us and she said nothing!" As the Tenplar was still talking, Killer bee turned her face away. "What's going on here?" Reiv asked. "Stay out of this!" The Tenplar male said to Reiv as his irises glowed. "What is going on?" Reiv asked with a firm tone. "You want to know what's going on? Fine! I'm trying to get answers from this little wretch and she claims to know nothing and the more she acts like this, the more it pisses me off!" The Tenplar male said. "Look, i get it. The actions of Karma has angered everyone but Bee is innocent." Reiv said, "What would she gain if she allowed Karma to leave with Cloud without carrying her along?" "You are assuming she is bright enough to think like that." The Tenplar male replied, "That Dreygar bastard betrayed us! That whitehead is a fraud! At this point i don't even know who is the bigger traitor, Cloud, Karma or perhaps this smiling dog!" "Let's not be too quick to assume Cloud is a traitor." Reiv said, "For all we know this could have been a hidden power, something he wasn't aware of. Not to mention, that person wasn't Cloud, and we don't need to give Bee a hard time. She just saw her friend betray us plus i can tell she is still trying to wrap her head around Cloud's matter, but now is not the time to deal with this; we still have hivelings on our neck. " "Now isn't the time, huh? When will it be time?" The Tenplar male asked. "After we survive this." Reiv answered. "After we survive this. Heh. That is if we survive this at all." The Tenplar male said with a smirk, "You know it's funny how she is close with those two and yet she didn't see any of these coming, but i guess she seems to have a way of attracting liars and betrayers. After all it does runs in her blood." "Hey!" Reiv said. "Got anything to say for yourself?" The Tenplar male asked as he peeked at Killer bee. However, Killer bee ignored him and stood on her feet to walk away which angered the Tenplar male more. "I'm talking to you, traitor's daughter!" The Tenplar male said as he grabbed Bee by the shoulder from behind. Bee quickly held his wrist and performs a body throw, slamming him with so much force that it fractured the ground and made the Tenplar cough out blood. Killer bee immediately placed her foot on the Tenplar male's right cheek while holding his arm and glaring at him with her irises glowing. "Bee!" Reiv called. Killer bee glared at the Tenplar male for a while and exhaled. "I'm sorry." Killer bee said as she released her grip and removed her foot. "Don't be. The fault is not yours." Reiv said. "Actually it is. I should have seen this coming. I should have." Killer bee said. "No one saw this coming. No one imagined Karma would do something like this in this type of situation." Reiv said. "No, i was supposed to put an eye out for Karma but i have been doing a terrible work. Now a lot of our friends and comrades are injured and dead because of me." "Put an eye on her? What are you talking about?" Reiv asked. "Bee, i cannot hold anything against you with Karma but with Cloud, did you know?" A Kenar male asked with crossed arms, "Did you know that Cloud had Kan? Did you know he wasn't a minor?" "Yes. I knew. I knew he wasn't a minor." Killer bee answered. The answer of Killer bee created murmurings among the others, leading some to glare at her. "When i found out he wasn't a minor I was surprised but Cloud himself didn't know of this until it was brought to his knowledge. But even when he found out, he had problems accepting it." Killer bee said, "I could tell something was bothering him but i never imagined it would be this. Was this what was bothering him all along? I don't know, and i won't be too quick to assume he is a traitor or anything else... Not until i get answers from him." Killer bee glanced at the brown haired Tenplar male and lent a helping hand. "I am as confused and angry as you all are, but we should not be too quick to label people without hearing from them or clear evidence, otherwise we'll repeat the same thing over and over again." Killer bee said to the Tenplar male. "Humph." The brown haired Tenplar male said as he slaps her hand away, "Clear evidence. What other evidence do you need? That whitehead revealed his true colors as a liar and a pretender and that Dreygar is a traitor. This is the clear evidence." The Tenplar male stood on his feet and turned his back to walk away. "The deaths of our friends and comrades not only falls on the hivelings and Karma, but it also falls on you and I will never forgive you or that bastard." The Tenplar male said. Killer bee bent her head in sadness while the others stared with her. "Don't listen to him. As i said before, the fault is not yours." Reiv said to Killer bee. "Actually, it is ours." A Ripar male said to Bee and Reiv, "We should have all seen this coming. Karma has done something like this before, we should have known she would do it again. Not to mention Pit predicted this kind of thing would happen to you, Bee. She knows Karma well, perhaps too well." "You once said something about Karma abandoning Pit and her teammates. Do you care to explain?" Killer bee asked Reiv. "You don't know about it?" Reiv asked. "That's why i am asking." Killer bee said. "Do you remember task 27?" Reiv asked. "Task 27... You mean the task where Karma and Pit were the only ones that came back alive?" Killer bee asked. "Yes, but there is more to what happened." Reiv said, "In that task, Karma left her teammates to die in the hands of the white minotaur Molax." "What?" Killer bee said in shock. " Pit revealed the truth in the tournament." Reiv said, "She knew her teammates were heading down the wrong direction but she didn't care; she chose to leave her teammates to perish. She claimed it was not her obligation to warn her teammates and criticized Pit for mourning their deaths. How do you not know this? I thought you watched the tournament?" "I didn't. After her fight with Dam, i had a long argument with Karma on how she takes things too far." Killer bee answered, "Karma really did all that? But she said -" "That her teammates went the wrong direction and by the time she got there they were all dead except Pit." Reiv cuts in, "Do you remember what else she said?" "That her teammates were too weak that's why they died to Molax." Killer bee answered. "Yes. Karma made it sound as if she was too late to save them but according to Pit, she never tried and no one suspected a thing about her and the task because of how she presented it. " Reiv said, "As i said before: she left her teammates to die and now she has done it again but this time she took Cloud with her. I wonder what she'll tell everyone when this is over." "Karma..." Killer bee said softly. "Yeah, we all should have seen it coming. Once a traitor, always a traitor." Reiv said, "But there is something playing in my head right now; now that i think of it, ever since her fight with the hiveling Mohan, her sight was so fixed on Cloud." "Yeah, now that you mentioned it, you're right. Cloud was a target of Karma but ever since her fight with the hiveling, she was constantly taking a quick look at him." Killer bee said as she recalled multiple instances of Karma glancing at Cloud, "It was so strange, even for someone like her. What did the hiveling say to her?" "No one knows but whatever it was, it must have been one of the major causes of this betrayal." Reiv said, "Perhaps he said something that made her insecure." "Karma? Insecure?" Killer bee asked with a raised brow. "Well, it somewhat makes sense to me. I mean this is someone who always bragged about being the strongest and ended up meeting power so great that it made the chiefs look insignificant. So it's no surprise that her pride might have been shaken since that incident and with her fight with the hiveling, maybe he said something about that shook her pride even further." "Hey, why are we talking about that traitor?" The Ripar male beside Reiv asked, "She is going to dig her own grave. Remember when that god that took over? All that needs to happen is for that god to take over again and she is done for." "And what if it was a one time thing?" Reiv asked, "What if he won't take over in this fight? The way i see it, this fight is going to go two ways: it's either the god takes over and kills Karma or in the god's absence, Karma ends up killing Cloud and if this was truly a one time thing then Cloud is screwed. Minor or no minor, he has no chance of beating her; she is too strong for any of us, not to talk of someone like him." "Karma is a terrifying person and one thing i know about her is that she won't kill Cloud immediately. She would want to savour the pleasure of breaking him just like she does with her preys and opponents, but Cloud however is full of surprises. I can tell since i fought and watched him." Killer bee said. "But do you think he can win?" A female Ripar asked. "No." Killer bee answered as she bent her head down, "It's just as Reiv said, he stands no chance. There is a reason why she is on top. She outclasses Cloud in every way just like she outclasses everyone. Apart from the chiefs, teachers and other strong adults, no one among our peers can stop her. No one." "What about Onak? I'm pretty confident that he can beat her." A male Graundar said. "Yeah, what about Sting? After what we saw in the tournament, I'm certain he can beat her." A redhead female Tenplar said. "Are we really debating this now?" A brown haired Kenar male asked. "Reiv, what do you suggest we do?" The Ripar male beside Reiv asked. "Right now, we need to focus more on our survival. We still have a lot of hivelings to deal with and if we stay here any longer, they will find us." Reiv answered, "Though there is something that played in my head earlier: if Karma was able to get hold of a hiveling carrying an artifact that allowed him or her to leave this pocket realm, then maybe there are more; maybe there are more hivelings carrying artifacts that allows them to leave." "But what are the chances we will end up finding one? I can wager that a majority of them won't be carrying it, only a few." A Kenar female asked. "You're right, only a few may be carrying it." Reiv replied, "Listen up, all of you." While Reiv was discussing his plan with the other humans, Killer spoke within her heart. "Cloud, i know this might seem impossible but please survive. Just hang on." "I'm coming." Killer bee said within as a bloodied Cloud laid chest-first on the ground in pain while Karma hovered above and stared down with her irises glowing.
