The story talks about a young boy known as Cloud who aspired to become the greatest pilgrim warrior in Agaroth (the first warrior realm of mankind) despite his flaws, however there is more that meets the eyes as Agaroth is on the brink of extinction...
Idjra stood staring at Ziron who at that time was clutching the left side of his face with an agonized expression. "Damnit! D-dammit!! Damn it all!!" Ziron said within, "What the hell is going on?!" Idjra scowled at Ziron and dashed at his direction. "Sh*t!" Ziron said within as he subconsciously stepped back. Idjra showed up behind Ziron in mid air and kicked his back, causing him to stumble; Ziron stood on his feet and sent a blue crescent wave as he turns back, but Idjra averts it as she slid on her knees while moving towards him and in a blink of an eye as Idjra had reached close to him, Idjra attacked with a backflip kick to Ziron's jaw which made him step back repeatedly. Ziron growled with irritation but his headache resurfaced and his visions blurred again which made Ziron groan again. Idjra punched Ziron on the face and struck with two back-fists from the left and right arm, followed her attacks with a punch to the solar plexus, an uppercut to the jaw, a kick to his left ribs and one to his right femur. "He'ken: Zomatukari!" Idjra said within as she performs a reverse somersault kick on Ziron's head. In a heartbeat, Idjra takes Ziron off balance with a leg sweep and kicked him away as he was above the ground, leading him to bump into a tree. Ziron panted as he was making struggles to stand, and held his head in pain due to the headache returning. "This is becoming annoying!" Ziron said within, "I can't seem to focus at all!" Ziron raised his head and watched Idjra walking towards him. "She is not charging at me. Is she being careful or is she trying to regain stamina?" Ziron asked internally, "Her faithful soul ability is strong but it consumes stamina as a cost. I normally wouldn't have a problem in killing her but as i am right now, i can't even seem to focus." "Pathetic." Idjra said sounded, prompting Ziron to stare in confusion. "You're so pathetic." Idjra said, "Just looking at you makes me sick in the belly." "The feeling is mutual. Now you know how i feel everytime i look at the faces of you humans." Ziron said. "Humans? You talk as if you aren't one." Idjra said. "I'm nothing like you filths." Ziron replied, "Plus very soon i will no longer be of this filthy race." "What do you mean by that?" Idjra asked. "Let me ask you a question, human." Ziron said as he stretched forth his hand, "Your soon-to-be dead idiot friend Obaru said there's is still good in humanity, but he only says that because he hasn't seen half of what I've seen, so answer this: If a fruit is 80% rotten, would you still consider that fruit good for eating or would you throw it away?" "Huh?" Idjra said in confusion. "Answer me, human. Would you consider the fruit good or would you dispose of it?" Ziron asked. "You would dispose of it." Idjra answered. "Exactly why i chose to abandon this race. A race so rotten, evil and hypocritical isn't worth being part of. Obaru said there are still good people out there; so what if there a few good humans? It doesn't make up for the rest of the evil population." Ziron said. The scowl on Idjra's visage grew which made Ziron to slightly grin. "You know, you're a lot smarter than Obaru." Ziron said, "It's such a shame someone of your caliber would stay around someone like him. You even went down on your knees to beg Jagami just to ensure that she doesn't harm that fool, throwing your pride away for a moron who thinks through his arse and showing to everyone that you have become nothing more than Obaru's little puppy." "Is that what you think? It seems in your pretence of being our friend, you failed to understand the bondings of warriors… Of people." Idjra replied, "Yes, i did go down on my knees to beg for Obaru; i gave up my pride for him to spared because i knew how terrible the situation would have been for him. The training was a team against team and the goal was to acquire the red gem and hand it over to Seigen. I, Jagami, Gilko and Kein were the opponents of Obaru, Kardolac, Raen and Juni. With Kein and Jagami by our side, everyone thought we would win but we lost, not because Obaru's team was stronger but because Obaru outsmarted us. Just when we thought victory was ours, we found out the red gem was replaced with a false gem by Obaru's team. Obaru explained to us how we had fallen into their trap and that the clone of Kardolac had delivered the real gem to Seigen. As his opponent, i was bloody upset but as his friend, i was amused and proud, and it was from there i understood Obaru was smarter than a lot of people think." "No, he is not." Ziron said within. "Jagami on the other hand due to her pride being hurt, Jagami decided to diamond drive the group and make sure Obaru took the worst out of it." "So you begged? That was the best you could think of?" Ziron asked, "Perhaps i misjudged you. You weren't brought down to his level, you are more of a fool than he is, that's why he was able to fool you." "Fooled by a fool." Ziron said with a smile. "Say what you will, i don't care." Idjra replied, "Obaru has done a lot for me and helped me in so many ways. I will do what i can and must to help him." "Then you really are his puppy and you are going to die like one." Ziron said. "And you think you can do it with your condition?" Idjra asked. "I absolutely can!" Ziron was at the time he was emitting his aura in preparation to attack. "But you won't." A masculine voice said. Ziron turns back and sees the person to be Izaiya who happened to be leaning against a tree with crossed arms. "Izaiya, how is he?" Idjra asked. "Obaru is a hard dough; It will take more than a couple of stomps and air piercing to put him out." Izaiya answered. "Plus, the others in this pocket realm capable of healing are working on him." Izaiya said as two male Tenplars were healing Obaru in the midst of other students. "I'm surprised you're trying to find out now, but that's not my concern." Izaiya said to Idjra. "Now to you." Izaiya said with a as he shifts his gaze to Ziron, "You honestly believe you can fight her with this condition of yours?" "Oh my, you truly don't understand your situation at all." Izaiya said with a smile as he closed his eyes, "Let me explain it to you…" "You are dying slowly and it won't be long before you die horribly." Izaiya said as he opened his eyes as his irises glowed. "What are you talking about?" Ziron asked with a scowl. "Tell me… What do you know about the Reaper's kiss?" Izaiya asked Ziron. "The Reaper's… Izaiya…" Idjra said with widened eyes. "The what?" Ziron asked in puzzlement. "You don't know. Alright then, the Reaper's kiss is a contagious poison that slowly wears down it's victim before killing them, and i passed it to you during our fight." Izaiya said. "You passed it to me? When?!" Ziron asked, "And if it was as contagious as you said, then which means you are poisoned too." "Except I'm not." Izaiya replied, "I want you to think… When was the exact moment i gave it to you? The poison is contagious through physical contact." "Physical contact…" Ziron said softly as he was trying to understand what Izaiya was talking about. Ziron's eyes widened as he immediately recalled the incident of Izaiya punching him. "That moment.. You little…!" "Now you know why." Izaiya said, "When you took the clone to this place, you moved a little out of the spot i planned, so i had to rush as quickly as i can to infect you before my three minutes ran out." "Three minutes?" Ziron asked. "Yes, three minutes. That's the amount of time the infected has to spread the poison." Izaiya said as he made the three-fingers gesture, "Unfortunately for you, your three minutes was up a long time ago." "What?" Ziron said in puzzlement. "When i attacked you, i was able to stall you long enough through talking and using Dahmu to keep the distance between us until your time had ended." Izaiya explained, "Once the infected three minutes has gone, the infected can no longer pass the poison to another." "If everything you are saying about the poison is true, then all you have done is to pass it to me, you are still infected." Ziron said. "I told you before i am not infected, didn't I?" Izaiya asked, "You saw me drink something in our fight. Think back again to that moment." "That moment…. Wait, you mean…!" Ziron said as he remembers the blue potion Izaiya drank, "So that's what it was for?" "That was the antidote. I had Leorona make it for me after giving a little sweet talk on her capabilities as a healer on what she could do and what she couldn't." Izaiya said with a smile, "She took it as a challenge and made a lot." "You bastard…!" Ziron said in anger. Before Ziron could move, he fell on one knee as the headache returned, leaving him to clutch his head in pain. "Damn it…!" Ziron said within as he grits his teeth. "Gotten worse, huh?" Izaiya asked, "Now, I don't agree with what Idjra said about Obaru being smarter and everyone knows i cannot stand him, but i dislike you more than i dislike him. Obaru maybe stupid and highly irritating especially with how he constantly hypes himself but he is a better and more honorable person than you. Before you killed Enida, you told her about your hatred for humans and how vile they are, but what i see before me is a pompous hypocrite who can't see the color of his own dung. A vomit that criticizes the appearance of others without taking a good look at himself." Ziron growled at the words of Izaiya but before he could stand, the headache came back and caused him to fall on one knee, again. "Let me tell you how the poison is going to fully take effect." Izaiya said. "It's going to start with blood rushing out of your ears…" Izaiya said as he points at his ears "Then your eyes …" Izaiya said as he points at his eyes. "Then your nose…" Izaiya said as he points at his nose. "And your mouth…" Izaiya said as he points at his mouth. "It will crush your kidneys and liver and twist every vein in your body." Izaiya said, "And just as i mentioned earlier, you are going to die and you are going to die horribly, and when you do so, i hope you go to hell and rot." In fury, Ziron yelled with his irises glowing and fired a humongous air beam from his palm at Izaiya and destroyed a large number of trees while leaving a huge rift on the ground, albeit, Ziron took notice of a myriad of green sparkles descending to the ground which made him realize what happened and built his frustrations further. "Another soul-clone!" Ziron said within. Ziron turned back and was met with a punch from Idjra that pushed him back. Idjra sprints at Ziron and as Ziron stretched out his arm to attack, Idjra grabbed his wrist and lands a palm strike on his side and followed up with a punch to the chest that made Ziron groan and step back. "Haùrki: Godomèryn!" Idjra said within as she strikes with three front kicks on Ziron's face in the air. Ziron fell on the ground and his visions blurred again but as soon as it cleared, Ziron caught sight of Idjra wheeling down at him. Ziron quickly rolls out of the way, leaving Idjra's knee to fracture the ground and just as Ziron stood, his blurry visions and headache came back. Idjra struck Ziron's face with a punch, his belly with two punches and finalized everything with an uppercut that raised him a bit high. Idjra leaped in the air with him and slammed his head to the ground with her fist, thus breaking the ground and creating a huge smokescreen. Meanwhile Izaiya (whose arms happened to be wrapped round a male Tenplar out of exhaustion) was watching the fight from afar with other students. "Idjra seems to be doing well against Ziron." Another Tenplar male said. "Indeed, but for how long?" A Graundar male asked. "We need to go there and help her." A Ripar female said. "No, we don't." A masculine voice said. The others turned back and saw the person to be Izaiya (whose arm was still wrapped round a male Tenplar). "What do you mean by that?" The Ripar female asked, "Are you saying we should let Idjra fight off Ziron alone?" "Ziron is a monster too strong for any of us to handle. Obaru and i were the only ones capable of keeping up with him but we couldn't beat him." Izaiya replied, "Even now with this poison, neither of us can still fight him and understanding his attitude now he knows he has little time left, he is going to try everything he can to carry everyone with him. The person that is best suited right now to combat him is Idjra but the only problem is her stamina weakness." "You know that and you still believe she is the best person to fight him?" The Ripar female asked, "Did you take a nasty bump to the head in this game or is it the effect of you going over your limits against Ziron?" "Maybe, but i do have a solution to her stamina problem." Izaiya said. "Which is?" A blonde Tenplar male asked. "Unison technique: heavenly breaths." Izaiya answered. "You really have lost your head, haven't you?" The Ripar female asked, "You don't want us to go down there and help but you want us to use the unison technique and lend Idjra some of our strength when we still have hivelings around trying to kill us. You know what, you need to take a nap." "As crazy and stupid as it may sound but do you think any of you stands a chance against Ziron even in this state he is in?" Izaiya asked, "If you want to go down there and band against him, be my guest but if you die just remember you were given a chance at survival against him." "He's poisoned. We have the advantage in numbers and conditions." The Ripar female said while frowning. "I'll help!" A feminine voice said. The humans espied the person to be the redhead female Tenplar with bobcut (from chapter 94). "I'll help with this unison technique." The Tenplar female said, "As much as i don't want to see Ziron die, but if something isn't done, Idjra and everyone here will die too, so in order to prevent that, i will lend my strength to her." "Have you gone mad?" The Ripar female asked. "Izaiya is somewhat right! Even in Ziron's weakened state, none of us can hold a candle to him and what if he decides to go all out and fight like a wounded lion?" The redhead Tenplar girl asked, "We would all be eliminated in a blink of an eye." "Listen to yourself! You are-!" "I will help, too!" Another feminine voice sounded. Izaiya and the others caught sight of the person to be a Tenplar female with a wavy long red hair. "I will lend my strength to Idjra as well." The female said with a determined expression. "Please tell me you are joking." The Ripar female said with a shocked expression, "You can't be-" "I'll help!" A masculine voice sounded which turned out to be a redhead Graundar male, increasing the disbelief on the Ripar female. "I'll help!" A male Ripar said. "I'll help!" Another masculine voice sounded. "I'll help!" A feminine voice sounded. At that moment, many of the students with Izaiya agreed to participate in Izaiya's plan. "Yeah, I'll help." "Count me in!" "Let's do this!" "Yeah, let's do this!" The Ripar female's eyes widened as she was bewildered with the eagerness of the others to participate in Izaiya's plan. "What is wrong with all of you?" The female asked, "We don't need to lend her some of our strength. All we need is a good formation to survive." "But in that survival some of us or even many of us will die." The redhead Tenplar female with wavy long hair said to the Ripar female, "Ziron has proved to be a huge threat here and i have seen enough of us die. There are 36 of us standing here and if some of our strength is lent to Idjra, it will be enough for her to beat him." "If it wasn't for Idjra's stamina weakness, she would have been a menace to stronger opponents." Izaiya said to the Ripar female, "And knowing Idjra, she won't arrive with just punching and kicking; she would definitely have something up her sleeve and with the situation i have created, it would help her more in fighting off Ziron, but if any of us should go down there and get involved, we would only get in her way. I know how it sounds especially in a situation like this but if you look at it, it is probably the best way to help and ensure no else dies." "And what if we are attacked?" The Ripar female asked, "What if a hiveling or a couple of them spots us and decides to attack while we are lending her our strengths?" "They won't be able to with this." Izaiya said as he brought out a green stone with white patterns round it, "It is han stone capable of creating multiple barriers; breaking through each one would require a tougher and tougher means, but it can only last for a period of time and takes an entire day to cool down." "Where do you get all these objects from?" The Ripar female asked, "Never mind. This is absurd. You are absurd. This entire plan is absurd, but…" "Fine. Count me in." The Ripar female said with closed eyes. Izaiya being pleased at the Ripar female's response, smiled with his eyes closed. "Okay. Let's get into formation." Izaiya said. Meanwhile countless crescent aura attacks rampaged round the environment but Idjra averts them all by running in a snaky motion. "There is no escape. This is the end." Ziron said at the time he was hovering with a blue outline round his body. Ziron raised his hand and three tiny blue orbs appeared above his palm. "Gale force: Dark at-" Ziron quickly turned back, only for Idjra to show up in the air and lands a strong punch on his belly that made him cough out spittle and create a wind pressure in the act that sent him crashing down to the ground and creating a large dust-cloud. Ziron groaned in pain as he was clutching his belly and during that time, his headache and blurry vision resurfaced again which raised his frustrations further. Ziron growled and lets out a deepened scream while exuding his aura as his eyes glowed which darkened the atmosphere and made a humongous blue barrier flash across countless vicinities, killing so many humans and hivelings and creating great havoc in the process. Izaiya and the others who were shielded by a green barrier stood on their feet and noticed the cracks on the barrier which quickly healed itself. "Damn…" Izaiya said within with a googled eyes. "That attack… That was definitely Ziron…" The Tenplar female with red bobcut said, "Idjra, is she…?" Idjra emerged out of a pile of rubble and sat on the ground while slightly groaning in pain. "That attack … I only survived it because i used my faithful soul to harden my body." Idjra said within. "Yet, it seems it wasn't enough." Idjra said within as she gazed at her injured left arm and broken leg, "Damn. What a monster. Even with what Izaiya did, Ziron is still absurdly strong; this makes me wonder how much he has been holding back." Idjra's irises glowed and her injured arm and leg healed. "Aside from what Izaiya did, he should have gone down by now from what i have been doing to him." Idjra said within as she stood on her feet, "Why won't he go down? Is it having no effect on him or do i need to use more force? Whatever the reason is, i don't think i can go on any longer. I am reaching the straw end of my ability and stamina. It won't be long before i give out." Idjra instinctively dodged an air beam that was shot at her head, and a masculine voice sounded. "Light covering." Idjra found herself coated with a pale blue aura and was swiftly pasted chest-first to the ground, causing her to scream out in agony. Ziron stared down at Idjra from above with a frown on his face and stretched forth his arm to finish her off. However, the headache and blurry vision came back and grew worse than ever, leading Ziron to scream out and fall to the ground. While Ziron was groaning and holding his head in agony, Ziron's black scleras fluctuated several times to white. "Damn-Dammit!!" Ziron said within, "Damn you, Izaiya!!!" With no time wasted, Idjra dashed at Ziron and punched him with every strength she had left while discharging her aura which creating a strong pressure. The power behind the attack sent Ziron soaring backwards and violently bouncing on his head repeatedly; Ziron slid on the side of his head and crashed through obstacles in the process. Unable to scream in pain or mutter a word, the sounds of tiny groans were all that came out of Ziron's mouth as smoke was oozing out of his right cheek which had the mark of Idjra's fist. Meanwhile the weakened Idjra laid on the ground and was unable to stand on her feet. "I feel so weak…" Idjra said within, "My entire body feels so numb. I can feel myself fading away. Is this how i die?" Ziron stood on his feet and was growling while the mark of Idjra's fist healed. "Izaiya…! Obaru…! Idjra…! You three ass-wipes piss me off…!!!" Ziron said within as he grits his teeth while emitting his aura. Ziron glanced at Idjra's direction with a frightening wide-eyed glare as his irises glowed. "Even if i die, i will make sure i carry the three of you with me!" Ziron said within. Ziron flew down at Idjra's angle at the time she still laid inert on the ground with her eyes closing slowy as she was losing consciousness. "Looks like i wasn't good enough to help." Idjra said within. "Obaru…" Idjra said within as she recalls his face, "Looks like i won't be by your side." "I will tear you to pieces with my bare hands!!" Ziron said within as he had reached Idjra's vicinity with an outstretched arm. "There are a lot of things i wanted to do with you… And a lot i wanted to say to you. I'm… Sorry… I couldn't… Live long enough to do them…" Idjra said within as she finally closed her eyes. "Fight!" A masculine voice sounded in Idjra's head. In an instant, Idjra's fist connect to Ziron's left cheek which sent him rolling backwards and sliding at the side of his neck. Ziron laid on the ground with his eyes pupilless while stuttering in pain as smoke was oozing out of his left cheek. "W-what the hell…?" Ziron said within. Idjra slowly stood back on her feet and stared at her palms in wonder. "What… What in the bloody hell just happened…?" Idjra asked within, "Why do i feel different?" "And earlier…" Idjra said within as she remembered the moment she punched Ziron on the cheek. "I was already at death's door but yet my body moved on its own." Idjra said within, "I can feel this insane rush in me. It's like my body is ready to explode with energy." "Idjra!" Izaiya's telepathically called, causing Idjra's irises to glow. "Izaiya?" Idjra asked. "Do you feel it? The rush within you?" Izaiya asked. "What are you talking about?" Idjra asked. "Right now you are being aided by me and 35 students of the academy through the unison technique of heavenly breaths." Izaiya said telepathically as he glanced at the 35 students holding hands while closing their eyes and exuding their auras, "While they are lending you their strengths, i am supervising and making sure nothing goes wrong." "Izaiya, at a time like this…" Izaiya said in puzzlement. "Don't worry, i've got everything covered and ensured their protection even after using the technique." Izaiya replied, "Right now, what you need to do is to focus on beating Ziron." "That voice earlier that told me to fight… It was you, wasn't it?" Idjra asked. "Yes, it was." Izaiya answered, "And in as much as i dislike Obaru, i know he won't be happy if he found you dead, so fight! A lot of us are putting our faith in you, and i want you to know that you are not alone." After Izaiya had finished speaking to Idjra telepathically, cyan blue light swirled round her, leaving Idjra short of words of what just happened. Idjra recalls the time Obaru and her were sitting and discussing outside the class of the pilgrim academy. "And i just want you to know that no matter what happens, you are not alone." Obaru said to Idjra with a smile. "I am not alone…" Idjra said within after the remembrance as she was staring at her palms. Ziron stood on his feet and was growling at the time he was emitting a menacing aura. "Damn you…! Damn you…! Damn you all to hell!!" Ziron said as he raised his head with his irises glowing, "Why can't you-?!" Ziron paused as he saw the cyan blue light coiling Idjra's body. "What is the meaning of this? Why does her pressure feel odd?" Ziron said within, "It's as if she is housing more than one energy." Idjra clenched her fists and raised her eyes to gaze at Ziron. "What trickery is this?" Ziron asked Idjra, "Why does your energy feel out of place? Like it has been combined with the kan energy of others?" Idjra ignored Ziron question and continued staring at him which made Ziron frown. "I asked you a question. Answer me." Ziron said as his irises glowed. "You want an answer? Fine. Earlier you mocked and questioned the relationship of Obaru and i, and i simply told you that in your pretence of being our friend, you failed to understand the bonds of people." Idjra said, "Right now, i am about to show you how far bonds can go even in times like these." Idjra sets herself for combat in a square stance and smiled. "This is our final dance. Are you ready?" Idjra asked as her irises glowed.
